THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT (PART 2)

Isaiah 60:1
[1]Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Isaiah 60:2
[2]For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

It is very important to know that "you only arise and shine in this Kingdom when knowledge comes". YOUR MATURITY IN THIS KINGDOM IS TO THE DEGREE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE WAYS OF GOD AND BECOME LIKE CHRIST. The Word of God has been written, you need the Holy Spirit to guide you into understanding it and it is available to the degree to which you know it and apply it.

If your outcomes do not change, then you are operating by law. When Elijah prayed, he asked his servant to go check the cloud. When you apply, check if there is result. Keep engaging until you see it. It is as soon as Zion travails that she will bring forth her fruit. It is not as soon as she prays, but as soon as she presses into it.

All the benefits of scriptures are in the heavenly places, you need knowledge of the Word to transport it down here. When Jesus came, He said "I have come in the volume of books". Those days, you would go to the temple to read and drop the scroll, Jesus went there to read about Himself because you cannot conquer this realm ignoring the ancient landmark that has been set.

The principles of the kingdom are finite, they are not bound by dispensations. What worked for Elijah will work for you if you do what Elijah did. There is nothing new. What changes is seasons, not the word. What made Esther to be favored will come upon you if you align the way she aligned.

This is how we use the Word. We check the vessel that captures that pattern or dimension of God. There is a scripture for your existence, if you have not found it, you have not understood your existence. If you have not found your role model in the Word, you have not understood your existence. John lived Like Elijah. Jesus lived like Joseph. So if both of us engage the Word of God from different Territories, we would likely get the same results.

Faith without work is dead. The word of God is an action and a doing word. It is not just a poem to recite or confess. These words are Spirit and Life. They are engaged via the spirit. Elisha spoke a word, "by this time tomorrow" and chariots of angels went to the Syrian camp from the realm of the spirit.

You see, the reason the earth was not worthy of these men is that they were dangerously custodians of mysteries. Imagine that Elijah was laughing at the Prophets of Baal. What kind of boldness was that? It was an understanding.

I will say this:
1. Know yourself.
2. Know the Word.
3. Know Prayer.

When John was asked who he was, he defined himself with his purpose.

A large part of the mysteries in the Word is engaged by praying in the spirit. Jesus was particular about prayer when He was the Word.

Your commitment should be the ministry of Prayer and the ministry of the Word.

From Prayer proceeds the power of the Word. That's why when you receive a revelation, you will still need prayer to activate it. You should be a burning and shinning light.

THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT (PART 1)

Ephesians 6:17
[17]And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit.

Practically, we understand sword to be a major weapon for attack, that is to say, even if you have the helmet, belt, shield, shoe, you can't defeat the enemy completely. The other weapon are defensive weapons, the sword is for attack We live in a generation where we are more obsessed about praying for revival when we do not know what it takes to sustain it.

The Rhema Word is the Word for now. It is the word based on revelation, that means "the Sword of the Spirit is dependent on the revelation of God's word" so when I operate by Light, I use the sword but when I just operate by the letters, I look at the sword without using it.

Let me give a scenerio. You can have eyes but if there is no light in the room, the eyes will still not see even if the eyes are there. The problem with the word is not our eyes, it is that there is no light for our eyes to see.
Ephesians 6:17
[17]And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God:

This Word here is a Rhema Word. It is called the sword of the Spirit. It is revealed by the Spirit. Now, the outpouring of the sSpirit should not leave the believer without revelation.

In this kingdom, we are mature to the degree that we understand and apply the word.

When the Holy Spirit comes on a believer, He comes strong, but functions in the life of the believer to the degree to which his mind is transformed by the Word.
2 Kings 4:6
[6]And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

It was when the vessels finished that the oil stopped. The issue was no the oil, but the vessel.

Grace is multiplied through knowledge.
2 Peter 1:2
[2]Grace And Peace Be Multiplied Unto You Through The knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.

The Sword of the Spirit is your weapon of attack. That weapon is the revelation of God's word by the Spirit. Jesus spent his ministry teaching more. When He resurrected, He still came to teach them for forty days. He said to Peter upon this ROCK will I build my church. Through wisdom is a house built and by understanding it is established.

The Word of God is Light before God recreated the Earth, He first called out light to come out of darkness. It was from that light that the recreation process began. You cannot create realities in this physical realm without Light. Light has to come for you to arise and shine.

Each time the Holy Spirit gives you a rhema word, just know that He just gave you a sword of attack. The Holy Ghost can reveal a scripture to you and when you activate it, your outcomes change. Sometimes, He can send the word as instructions. He can tell you when or how long to pray. He can tell you where to study.

FRESH OIL

What does it mean for something to be fresh?
It means it is current. It means it's savour, taste and scent has not expired.

The anointing is not just the proof that a man is consistent with God.

In 1 Kings 18: :15, Elijah said: BEFORE GOD WHO I STAND. Before he commanded the earth not to give dew or rain, he made a word: that is both God and my stand with Him. What Elijah meant is that He stayed in the presence of God often.

That is what He meant by standing before God. He didn't have any other confidence than freshness. He boasted of his communion and that is why the bible says that he prayed earnestly for 3 and half years.

You can be invited for a meeting and activate a principle and results will show. That does not mean that your oil is fresh. The anointing that comes upon your call functions like a gift.

When we talk about fresh oil, we mean you are in a present state with God, not a past Glory.

Principles will help you bring down the anointing , but fresh oil has no principle. It is the staying consciousness.

If you don't have a time when you meet with God, your oil cannot be fresh.

God is time conscious! If he wasn't, he would not have waited another day for another creation. If he wasn't, he wouldn't have told Moses to wait till morning before meeting Pharaoh. Even Jesus rose up at midnight.

Your oil cannot be fresh without a personal time with God. The anointing can be gotten by Impartation, but fresh oil is not corporate.

Many of you have fire in you but because you have not energized your spirit with long prayers, there is no flow. The Holy Ghost in your spirit cannot find expression.

WHY DO WE NEED FRESH OIL THIS SEASON?

Psalm 92:10
[10]But my horn (emblem of excessive strength and stately grace) You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil.

The Horn of a unicorn is same as the horn of a wild ox.

Numbers 23:22
[22]God brought them forth out of Egypt; they have as it were the strength of a wild ox.

In the horn, there is strength, a dimension of power. This oil is to strengthen you. That you arise from that weakness. it is the strength to war. Because the verse started with a BUT David was talking about defeating His enemies.

In this Kingdom we war! But our wrestle is not against flesh and blood. That God has given you an assignment doesn't mean you don't have enemies.

For you to rule in the midst of your enemies, you need fresh oil. The sign of fresh oil is that your enemies are defeated. The kingdom of darkness is defeated. There is no neutrality in life.

In Luke 7:46-47, Jesus was so glorified when the woman anointed his feet. It was a fresh oil. If the oil must be fresh, the alabaster where the oil is must be broken. That means 'self' must give way. Death must occur.

Matthew 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Jesus called those who didn't have enough oil foolish. Even if they had oil before, they didn't have oil at that hour and it was that hour He showed up.

The sign that you are prepared for the future is that you are eating for it and you are pressing into it. The future is bright is not in mere confession. You must be preparing for it.

Matthew 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The foolish virgins had the word but no extra oil.

Pray and say God, Give ME OIL IN MY LAMP, KEEP ME BURNING. Pray and tell God to make you fresh He should make your anointing fresh!

I command, let the eyes of your understanding be enlightened.

Receive FRESH OIL, Multiplied GRACE!

Your gifts and abilities are anointed afresh.

The baptism of prayer rests on you now in the Name of Jesus.

I sent forth an angel of the Lord to empower you right now. Receive now!!!
