THE PECULIAR YOU
" What is man that you should magnify him(and) think him important? And that you should set your mind upon him?" ( Job 7:17;AMP)..... As a new creation in Christ Jesus, you are peculiar; you are the first fruits, that means, the first and the best of God's creatures: " Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures" ( James 1:18). You are the crowning beauty, and the highest of everything God made. You are even higher than angels..... That is why it's the new man, not the angels, that God gave dominion over all things: " For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified, saying, what is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visited him? Thou madest him a little lower than angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou has put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him..." ( Hebrews 2:5-8). Now, what makes man so peculiar? Why is he the highest of God's creatures? Why did God put all things under his subjection? .... You might say, " It's because of his reasoning power, " but no; that's not it. Man is the highest of God's creatures because he's the one in whom God would fully express Himself. This is the reason Jesus came as a man in human flesh; it's also the reason you were born! God created you to express Himself in His fullness in you without supplanting your personality. How exciting this is! Though He chose to express Himself in you and through you, the things that are peculiar to your identity are preserved. In other words, you are still you, but God express all of Himself in that peculiar person called you. He expresses Himself in His fullness in your peculiar character.... God created you so He could manifest His beauty, holiness, grace and excellence through you: "But you are chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, ( God's) own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds(and) display the virtues and perfection of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" ( 1 Peter 2:9 AMP).

Dear Father, I rejoice to know that you chose me to express yourself and reveal your personality and glory in me! DON'T IGNORE THE HOLY SPIRIT.
" And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever" ( John 14:16)..... Listening to the Holy spirit and following His leading and guidance is so important in the life of every child of God. Many today have gotten into the wrong jobs, wrong relationship and made terrible decisions because they ignored the counsel of the Holy spirit. God the Father is in heaven, and so is the Lord Jesus. But the Holy spirit is here with us, as the administrator of the grace of Jesus Christ and the love of God in our lives today. He's the one that makes the presence of the Jesus real to us. He communicate the mind of the Father to everyone who has received Him..... No wonder Jesus, before His ascension said, " And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever" ( John 14:16). Those who ignore the Holy spirit can't experience God's love in reality. Life, without the Holy spirit, is unexciting, hard, rough and tough. Someone once said, " The Christian life is very challenging; it's fraught with too many problems." Well, that's for the one who ignore the spirit. I have been a Christian for a long time and for me, it's been a smooth sail, from glory to glory! My experience of life has been that of consistent progress, unending success and recurrent victory. It's an awesome, wonderful and glorious experience, if you learn to walk with the Holy spirit. .... When you are acquainted with the Holy spirit you won't consider any challenge you might face as obstacles to your faith; you will see them as bread. James 1:2 says count it all joy when you fall into divers tests. Why? There's one living in you that help you win and puts you over all of life's challenges: " Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world" ( 1 John 4:4). The Holy spirit was sent to help you live the overcoming life, and bear you up in times of weakness and limitations ( Romans 8:26); never ignore Him..... Recognize the personal ministry of the Holy spirit in your life and learn to walk with Him. He's more concerned and passionate about your success than you could ever be. And as you yield to Him, He will perfect all that concerns you and lead you from glory to glory. For further study. John 16:13.

Thank you dear spirit of God for your presence, power and ministry in my life! I recognise and acknowledge you as the One at work in me, causing me to make progress and excel in my faith - walk; leading me in greater levels of glory! SEE THE RIGHT PICTURE.
" While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal " ( 2 Corinthians 4:18)..... As a Christian, you have the ability to see the unseen, and declare the end of any matter from the beginning, just like your Heavenly Father. The Bible says God quickens the dead, and calls things that be not as though they were ( Romans 4:17). He framed the worlds by His word so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear ( Hebrews 11:3)..... You have been called to live the faith-life; the Bible says, " For we walk by faith, not by sight" ( 2 Corinthians 5:7). Now, faith means you see the end result of an issue from where you are, and then you speak it into existence. In other words, you picture the future according to the word of God, and proclaim it into being through your spirit. Refuse to acknowledge the negative picture the devil may present to you; focus on what God says about you in His word and picture yourself that way.
..... If for example you have been suffering with an ailments, don't look at the symptoms; contemplate your healing; see yourself healed. If you were weak in any area of your life, don't keep thinking and talking weakness or limitations; see and declare your strength! Affirm that nothing shall be impossible unto you, for that's the truth revealed in God's word about you..... Satan may sometimes show up and attempt to question your faith, asking, " Hey, are you sure those words you heard were real?" Refuse to be moved, for he's a liar and the Father of lies. He knows God's word about you is true otherwise he wouldn't question it. Never find yourself struggling with your faith and doubting if what God says about you is true. God is not a man that He should lie ( Number 23:19). His word is not absolutely reality; therefore hold on to that picture of you that you see in His word. For further study. Dear Father, my faith in you is the power to change my world, and frame the circumstances of life to conform to your destiny for my life! I'm not a victim in this world, for I possess the power to determine the course of my life according to the word of God. YOUR REFUGE IN TIME OF TROUBLE.
" For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall" ( Isaiah 25:4)..... The LORD our God is our refuge and strong tower. He is the strength of the poor and provides succour to the needy. He alone can provide all the comfort, help, security and protection you need. No wonder proverbs 3:5 days " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Psalm 20:7 says, " Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God." .... Our God is our refuge in times of trouble. He shields us from the corrupting influences in today's world. If you are born again, you need not worry about economic recession, inflation or any form of economic or political turmoil, for the kingdom to which you belong operates by heavenly principles. The Bible says " By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house..." ( Hebrews 11:7)..... Everyone in Noah's day, including the animals, drowned when God destroyed the earth with flood. Yet Noah's ark floated safely on top the same waters that destroyed the ungodly. You have to realize therefore that the devil, hardship and harsh economic conditions in the world are not set against you; you should never be disadvantaged as a child of God. In the midst of recession and economic downturn, God has ordained your prosperity. He already planned that you will be a success in this life..... Just as the ark was a heaven for Noah and His family, the Lord Jesus is your refuge from the storm: " The name of the Lord is a strong tower : the righteous runneth into it, and is safe" ( proverbs 18:10). Everyone in Noah's ark was sustained for a hundred and fifty days, but when you come into Christ by making Jesus Lord of your life, He will preserve and sustain you for eternity. Therefore, refuse to fret or fear; for the Lord will bear you up above every negative situation. For further study: Psalm 91:7, Job 22:29.
Confession.
I'm gloriously riding on with the Lord in the realms of glory, where I prosper and all my needs are met. I'm experiencing fullness of joy today, and all the days of my life because the Lord my God is my refuge, my strength and my tower. JESUS IS OUR REST
" For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his" ( Hebrews 4:10)..... In the book of Genesis, we understand that God worked for six days and rested on the seventh day. The seventh day was the Sabbath day; the Bible says He blessed and sanctified the seventh day because in it He rested from all His work ( Genesis 2:2). He later instructed the children of Israel through the laws He gave them to also work for six days and rest on the seventh day, being the Sabbath day ( Exodus 20:9-11)..... However, the Lord Jesus Christ came as Lord of the Sabbath: " For the son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day" ( Matthew 12:8). He is therefore our rest; and having been born again, you are now in Him and have therefore entered His rest. " Rest" here is not referring to mere relaxation or taking time off work. It refers to your rest in God; it's our place in God, where you no longer toil, struggles. .... This is the life of rest Jesus has brought you into. Remember, He came and paid the price for your sins. He died, was buried and then raised back to life for your justification. Everything about your salvation was consummated in Him, who is today seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high. But thanks be unto God, you are seated together with Him in that place of power, authority and rest: " And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" ( Ephesians 2:6)..... Jesus is not doing any work today in heaven; He's seated and resting. And since you are seated with Him, it means no more struggling for you. You have been ushered into a life of rest; it's a position of grace. In Christ Jesus, all your problems have been solved; therefore look to Him, for He's the solution and all that you could ever need. For further study. Hebrews 4:11.

Dear Father, I thank you for the blessing of your word and the enlightenment it has given me today. Thank you for bringing me into a place of glorious rest in Christ Jesus, where I don't struggle but enjoy a blissful life of success and victory, in the matchless Name of Jesus. THE VICTORY ATTITUDE
" And there we saw the giant, the sons of Anak, which come of the giant: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight" ( Number 13:33)..... At God's instruction, Moses sent out twelve men to the land of Canaan, to spy out the land. God had told them the land was theirs ( Numbers 13:2), but when the twelve spies returned, ten of them interpreted the situation from the natural; according to what they saw ( Numbers 13:33). They reported that there were giant in the land, and therefore couldn't take it..... However, Caleb and Joshua interpreted the situation from a faith- perspective. Yes, they also saw the giant in the land, but it made no difference. As far as they were concerned, God had said the land was theirs and I that settled it; whether or not there were giants in it was immaterial. This is the faith- attitude. Whereas the other ten spies were sore afraid and lamented their inability to possess the land, Joshua and Caleb saw it as their opportunity for victory. .... The attitude of the ten spies in contradistinction to that of Joshua and Caleb exemplified two groups of individuals in the church today. The ten spice portray those in the church who are still ruled and governed by what their natural senses perceive. These are the ones easily overtake by fear and who cower in the days of adversity. But Joshua and Caleb represent the faith- generation; those who think and walk the word..... Let's read Joshua and Caleb's inspiring faith- response to the negative report presented to the children of Israel by the other ten spies: " Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not" ( Numbers 14:9). What a proclamation of faith! This is the victory attitude we should have as Christians, particularly in trying times..... Realized that you are more than a conqueror, and greater is He that is in you, than He that is the world. All the forces of heaven and power of divinity are working on your behalf; therefore refuse to buckle or give in to any adversity, for you are a victor in Christ Jesus. For further study. Prayer
Dear Father, I see all trials and challenges that come my way as bread. No force has the ability to defeat me or throw me off balance because greater is He that lives in me than He that's in the world. I'm more than a conqueror, and I live with confidence, knowing that all of heaven and power of divinity are working for me, for my good, in the matchless Name of Jesus.
