DATE: Monday 4th May, 2026.
TOPIC: THE FOURTH MAN IS HERE
MORNING TEXT: DANIEL 3:6-25

MESSAGE
The three Jewish youths Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-Nego are subjects of focus in our today's devotional. Though they were honest, transparent and righteous they would have suffered unjustly even unto death if God was not on their side. Men who saw them as their enemies and threat to their evil living, conspired against them as seen from verse 8 of our text "Wherefore at that time, certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. They spake and said to Nebuchadnezzar, oh king... There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province... They have not regarded thee, they serve not thy gods nor worship the golden image..."
The raging king after cross examination, humiliated and threw these three young Jews into the fiery furnace while their enemies rejoiced over their predicaments. But suddenly, there was a twist, the Fourth Man took over the scenerio. The Impossibility Specialist incapacitating the power of fire and converting the heat to Comfort of the fire survivors. What a Fourth Man! The king was forced to see and say "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt... The form of the Fourth Man is like the Son of God. Hallelujah!!!"

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Worship His Majesty with encomiums.
2. Pray the fire of the Holy ghost to defend and liberate you from any form of conspiracies.
3. Ask God to deliver you from nefarious activities of evil men.
4. Pray God to raise and stir up enemies for your enemies.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: PS. 124 :1-8
The Fourth Man shall work for you. He shall disappoint your detractors. Beloved let us sing with David the Psalms of 124:1-8 " If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say... When men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, When their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, The stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters, Had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, Who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: The snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth". Goodnight.

TOPIC: THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU
MORNING TEXT: MICAH 7:8-10

MESSAGE
Though a tree is cut down, yet, in a moist situation, shoots come forth, and grow up as a newly planted tree. But when man is cut off by death, he is for ever removed from his place in this world. The life of man may fitly be compared to the waters of a land flood, which spread far, but soon dry up. All Job's expressions here show his belief in the great doctrine of the resurrection. Job's friends proven as miserable comforters, are expecting us not to rise up again. On the contrary, he pleases himself with the expectation of a change. If our sins are forgiven, and our hearts renewed to holiness, heaven will be the rest for our souls, while our bodies are hidden in the grave from the malice of our enemies, feeling no more pain from our corruption. But here is more to it in this ephemeral world as explained by Micah in our anchor text this morning. **"Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me."** Beloved, be rest assured and be confident that all the current setbacks are temporary positions and not the final outcome. There is hope for you. Your enemies shall surely wait in vain. You are rising up to stardom. Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Magnify and worship Him in the beauty of His Holiness.
2. Pray for grace not to be used and dumped or forgotten.
3. Pray that all that are waiting to laugh at you will wait in vain.
4. Pray for grace to reconnect you to the bed of everlasting waters.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: MICAH 7:10
Beloved, have you been lifted but suddenly, the hour of darkness fell upon you? Have they mocked at you and said, " we said it" he will not go far, he will soon fail? Listen good, there is hope for you. No matter the degree of degradation or destruction, there is hope. If the grave could not swallow up Jesus, if Sarah could give birth at old age, then your case is a walkover. God will turn it around, "Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets." I counsel you tonight, reconnect your root to the bed of everlasting waters and you shall live again. Goodnight.

DATE: Saturday 2nd May, 2026.
TOPIC: DIVINE
FORGIVENESS
MORNING TEXT: LUKE 23:33-38

MESSAGE
Divine forgiveness is one of the topmost lessons one can gain from the death of our master Jesus. The moment the sacred blood began to flow, the intercession for sinners began. It was the moment when the pitiless murderers drove the six inches nails through his hands and feets cruelly.
This prompted the intercession as seen in verse 34 of our text, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". The pleading was first for the ignorant heathen soldiers who were acting on instructions, then to all who took part in His condemnation and crucifixion and then to all who will not live a righteous life then, now and in the future.
Beloved, hear me, the plea is for you if you have not accepted Him. Are you among those who still reject Christ? Are you ready to practice divine forgiveness like our master Jesus? Consider the LORD JESUS, in His anguish, He uttered no cry of pain, no cursing upon those who we were causing Him such suffering - but calmly He prayed for His brutal and pitiless murderers - Father, forgive them... What a lesson we believers ought to borrow from our Master and put into practice. "To err is human but to forgive is divine." Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Appreciate God for His goodness and mercy.
2. Pray God to deliver you from the spirit of unforgiveness.
3. Pray God also to allow others forgive you your past mistakes.
4. Pray the Holy Spirit to encourage you carry the cross you are called to bear.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: LUKE 23:34
This prayer from our Lord teaches us a great lesson — After He had wrought miracles of mercy with no charges. After He had taught and spoken as never any man spoke. After His messianic conditions was fulfilled. They led Him to the slaughter. He was flogged, spat upon, mocked, pierced on His side but He saw from His cross the lost world down to the end and prayed thus, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do".
He has never stopped this prayer of intercession. He prayed for His murderers, just so we should pray for those who injures us. So should it be with Christ's people. Instead of resentment and injury for injury, we should show only sweet tender love to those who harm us. Goodnight

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: Thursday 30th April, 2026.
TOPIC: YOUR TEARS ARE WIPED AWAY
MORNING TEXT: JOHN 20:14-16

MESSAGE
Many believers are so absorbed in their own grief that they neither see the angel, nor hear the celestial music of help. So their heart goes uncomforted and still breaking, while the comfort is so close at hand. We should look up when we are in sorrow; if we look down only - we shall never see the beauties and glories of the face of Jesus, and our hearts shall be uncomforted, though He is close beside us. There really was no cause for tears; for Jesus, whom she mourned as dead has risen. Does not Jesus ask the same question now of many a mourner, "Why are you crying?" Why are you sad, hopeless and refusing to be comforted just because something is not going well or there is delay somewhere? In verse 15 of our text, "Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?..." Beloved, weep no more, look up to the Master. He's giving you the answer and how to go about that problem. That problem is gone. Be comforted henceforth. The risen Christ is taking over that problem. That sickness is no longer there. That summon in the spiritual or physical court is cancelled. That death sentence against you is renounced. Good day and Happy New Month ahead.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Thank God for the gift of life He’s given you this day
2. Pray God to permanently wipe away your tears as the month is ending today.
3. Pray to be comforted henceforth.
4. Pray to have a clear conception and thrust on Christ.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: JOHN 20:14-16
Many people think of faith only as trusting for salvation, and do not understand it also as obedience and service. Martha had the true conception. Her answer to Christ’s call, implied the surrender of herself to Him. First, obeying Him as Master, and secondly as Savior. She, so much trusting on Him, called Him Rabboni signifying that He was more than just a teacher but a master, leader, or prince. Beloved, as we are about to enter the new month, let us recognize Jesus as our Master as did Mary in verse 16 of our text, "Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master." Let us then trust to do things that will wipe away our tears. Good night. Happy New month ahead.

DATE: Wednesday 29th April, 2026.
TOPIC: BE PATIENT WHILE WAITING
MORNING TEXT: JOHN 14:16-18

MESSAGE
One of the greatest hindrances to our prayer life is a lack of perseverance. Oftentimes we quit praying too soon. It's easy to feel that since we've asked, the answer to our prayers should immediately be forthcoming or our need should quickly be met. However, God is not a bellhop or an errand boy, just waiting to give us exactly what we want the moment that we want it. We often have to exercise patience and continue praying. All Christians are given the Holy Spirit to seal their relationship with God, and it is He who counsels believers on how to pray. Verse 25 of our text teaches on patience in prayers. "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." We sometimes believe that we need to come to God only when we have a need. However, prayer is about intimacy with the Father. If the Lord gave us whatever we wanted as soon as we asked Him, we would not be able to understand the dynamics of our relationship—and might never learn important skills like patience or dependence. Psalms 37:7 (KJV), "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him..." Beloved, be rest assured that God is working behind the scene to bring your request to pass. He is faithful, He will do exceedingly more than you are requesting. Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Worship His Majesty.
2. Pray the Holy Spirit to endow you with patience and endurance.
3. Pray for grace to be in a better relationship with God.
4. Pray that grace and help should be accelerated to keep you in form.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: 2 COR. 12:7-8
Think of the apostle Paul, who tells us that he implored three times for his 'thorn in the flesh' to be removed before God gave him a firm answer of no. This probably refers to three protracted periods of time that Paul begged for relief. When we have been praying for a long time about something and don't feel as if our words are going anywhere, that is not the time to quit. We have to pray through those situations. God is listening attentively to our cries, and His Spirit is our constant companion—even when we cannot 'feel' His presence or involvement in our lives. Instead of ceasing to pray, will you call on the Holy Spirit to aid you in persevering? Good night.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: Tuesday 28th April, 2026.
TOPIC: MAKING CHRIST OUR PRIORITY
MORNING TEXT: ACTS 13:16-22

MESSAGE
King David made several big mistakes in his life. Yet he was called a man after God’s own heart and was mightily used by the Lord to lead the Israelites. What set him apart was the priority he placed on his relationship with the heavenly Father. David delighted in knowing God and sought Him earnestly. Writing, ‘My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land,’ he declared that God’s love was better than life. He went on to pledge that he would praise the Lord all his days (Ps. 63:1, Ps. 63:3-4). David viewed life from a God-centered perspective. Do we still have believers who would love God to this extent. In spite of the desperate pursuit by Saul to unalive him, the internal family trouble/rebels, betrayals from his acquaintances etc, David remained resilient and resolved to love God the most. In his writings, he marveled at the Lord’s creative power in the world, relied on Him for protection and strength, and proclaimed allegiance. He also prayed fervently and frequently, lifting requests in the morning and expectantly awaiting a response (Ps. 5:3), "My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.". Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Magnify the Lord for His grace and mercy.
2. Pray the Holy Spirit to endear your heart to God always.
3. Pray and ask the Holy spirit to make Christ your priority.
4. Pray never to yield in the face of persecution.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: PS. 63:6-7
Praying and meditating on God’s character—fueled his trust in the Lord. His faith sustained him throughout life: when he was a shepherd boy protecting sheep from attacks by wild animals, a young man defeating the giant Goliath, and the nation’s anointed leader escaping King Saul’s murderous plans. Whatever his circumstances, he sought the Lord and gave priority to their relationship. The psalms reveal David’s desire to know the Lord and be known by Him. He sought God’s guidance through prayer and had a heart for Him. Jesus invites us NOW!!! to draw near and spend time learning from Him (Matt. 11:28-29). Have you made following Christ the priority of your life? Good night.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: Monday 27th April, 2026.
TOPIC: THE ROLE OF A CRITIC
MORNING TEXT: 1 KINGS 17:1-16

MESSAGE
It is commonly said that statues are never built in honour of critics. While it is not bad to criticise people who are not doing what they ought to be doing, you must not just stop there but go further to proffer solutions to ameliorate the severity rather than being complicit. Our text this morning saw Elijah as not a mere critic but channel for blessing. "And Elijah said... As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word." (1 Kings 17:1). Elijah started out as a critic. The king wasn't behaving in the right manner, and just like any critic, Elijah walked into the palace and confronted him. However, he didn't stop there; he moved on to become a vessel that God used to provide for the needs of a poor widow and her son (1 Kings 17:8-16). Carrying placards and protesting will attract the attention of the people you are criticising. However, beyond that, you must grow to a point where you can recommend and even provide some of the solutions you are demanding. Don't just become a critic that challenges those in authority; grow to the point where your impact cannot be ignored. You can be honest on how you feel about situations as long as you are not insulting the authorities involved. Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Begin to appreciate God for the new day.
2. Ask the Lord to forgive you in areas you lashed your leaders wrongly.
3. Pray to be a damage control manager.
4. Pray the Holy Spirit to bring the necessary solutions.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: MATTHEW 10:16
Beloved, be wise. God has a great destiny for you. Do not let overzealousness prevent you from fulfilling your destiny. Rather than just being a mere noisemaker, increase your capacity so that you can indeed become a force to be reckoned with. Your zeal should be matched with the right knowledge and actions. Don't just criticise things or people; become a part of the solution you desire to see.
Our evening text says, "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Christians need to be as strategic as serpents. The most dangerous thing about a serpent is its silence when it wants to attack its prey. When it attacks, the prey only realizes it when it is already too late. Good night.

DATE: Saturday 25th April, 2026.
TOPIC: GODLY LOVE RECORDS NO HATE
MORNING TEXT: LUKE 15:11-23

MESSAGE
Divine love empowers us to respond calmly to difficulties, demonstrate patience in seasons of waiting, and sacrifice without complaint. We offer God's love when we can: Forgive others. The son wasted his money in riotous living and discovered both the empty promises and destructive quality of sin. Upon the boy's return, his father forgave him completely. Love made it possible to wipe away the past. The psalmist reminds us in Psalms 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." The son arrived at his father's estate with few expectations. The forgiving dad greeted him most warmly and dressed him in the finest garments. Godly love, which keeps no record of wrongs, enabled the father to show generosity. What a celebration the father had upon the prodigal's return! His joy in his lost son's homecoming overflowed. See his attitude prescribed in verse 20 our text, "And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him." Beloved, Love expresses itself in willing service. Restore those who fall. The one who both abandoned his father and squandered his inheritance was again given fullrights as a son. Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Pour encomiums and adulations on His Holy name.
2. Pray the Holy Ghost fire to locate and destroy the spirit of hatred.
3. Pray for total forgiveness and divine reconciliation.
4. Pray against the negative attitudes of any elder brother.

EVENING SESSION TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 13:13
When we mess up, our heavenly Father patiently waits for us to turn back to Him. He accepts.our repentance, rejoices in our return, and restores intimacy with Him. The elder brother in this parable missed the point because of his self-righteous attitude (1 John 1:8). He didn't recognize his mistakes or the many times his father had shown him love and forgiveness. God calls us to a lifestyle of agape love. To whom could you extend the divine love that forgives, restores, and serves with generosity and joy? Our text reads "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." Good night.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: Friday 24th April, 2026.
TOPIC: SIGHT TO THE BLIND
MORNING TEXT: JOHN 9:6-7

MESSAGE
The world admires the act - but here is one still more beautiful. The King of Glory sees a poor blind beggar sitting in darkness, is moved with compassion for him, and stops to open his eyes. We here trace the course of Christ with this blind man. He saw him, and was touched by his condition. He came unasked to the blind man, and brought the healing unsought to him. He touched his eyes, bringing Himself as the light of the world - into contact with the man's darkness. So Christ comes first to us, not waiting to be sought. In His incarnation, He brought Himself in contact with our fallen nature to save it. By His Spirit He touches each blind soul that believes, and brings light and salvation to it. Verses 1 and 7 of our text account for His benevolence, "And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing." Beloved, this divine visitation is locating you right away. You are recovering your sight, you are regaining all that you lost. You will no longer grope or stumble in the dark. You will not only see the physical, you will also see the spiritual splendour of His glory. Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Begin to appreciate God for His goodness and mercy.
2. Pray to receive not only your sight but to receive your spiritual.
3. Pray that your divine helper locates and visits you now.
4. Pray to believe and obey divine instructions.

EVENING SESSION TEXT:
Christ uses means in the opening of men's spiritual eyes also. He sends His grace to us through His Word, through the ordinances, through the touch and love of human friends. He gave this man something to do, something requiring obedience and action. So He gives the sinner something to do, asking him to believe, to rise up, to wash in the fountain, to confess his Savior, and follow Him into lowly service. Thus, the curing of this blind man illustrates the opening of the spiritual eyes.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: Thursday 23rd April, 2026.
TOPIC: SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS
MORNING TEXT JOHN 9:1-8

MESSAGE
The blind man illustrates every person's natural condition. Men are born in a state of sin. Whatever we may say about the sweetness, innocence, and purity of childhood - the Scriptures plainly teach that no one is born by natural birth, in the kingdom of heaven - but that all must be born again to enter it. It is a glaring fact that this man's blindness shut off from him a whole world of beauty. There were lovely things all around him - green fields, sweet flowers, blue skies, bright sunshine, shining stars; but he never saw any of these things. So there is a whole world of spiritual beauty lying about the unbelievers and above him - the love of God, divine promises, blessed hopes, the heavenly kingdom, all the joys of salvation; but he sees nothing of all this glorious world. Not until that scale or shell obscuring the optic/eye is removed, such person(s) remains in blind. See the encounter between Jesus and the man that was born blind in verses 6-7 of our text, "When He had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing." Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Magnify the Lord for His grace and mercy.
2. Pray and destroy every obscurity causing blindness.
3. Pray to see both the spiritual and physical beauty of God now.
4. Pray that every scale covering your beauty falls off now.

EVENING SESSION TEXT JOHN 3:3
For another thing, this blind man's condition was incurable. In this, too, his case illustrated the condition of every sinner. The sinner is incurable, and none but Christ can remove his spiritual blindness. "Unless a man is born again - he cannot see the kingdom of God." Men of the world observe the raptures of Christian faith and Christian hope, and read the joyous words of Christian experience, and say with a sneer, "We cannot see any such joys as these in religion." The only proper answer is, "Don't you wish you could?" It takes the artist's eye to see the glory of nature; it takes the opened eye of Christian faith - to see the glories of God's spiritual kingdom. Good night.

DATE: Wednesday 22nd April, 2026.
TOPIC: RAPID RESPONSE TO THE FAITHFUL'S CALL
MORNING TEXT: ISAIAH 65:24

MESSAGE
There is a state of close communion with God, where the 'faithful's will' is in harmony with His, leading to immediate and preemptive answers to their needs. Today's devotional is a message of hope and reassurance of God's constant presence and attentiveness to His people. Read with me: "I will answer them before they even call to me, while they're still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers." Simply put in NIV: "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear." God is always prepared to help and is not distant from His children. He knows their intentions, He is aware of what they are aspiring to acquire. The good news is that God has every of our need in store and He is eager to respond. This is the truest seal of divine favour and paternal love. The closest conjunction of heaven and earth, that is, of God and men, is expressed in this verse; seeing that God declares he will abundantly and immediately satisfy the desires of his people, which desires are here supposed to be just and conformable to his will. Beloved, there is an interval between prayer and the answer. The answer from God, will anticipate your prayer. Good day.

PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Worship His Majesty.
2. Pray for grace to ascend to this realm of immediate answers to your request.
3. Pray for abundant supply of your needs.
4. Pray the Holy Ghost to empower you to pray in accordance to the will of God.

EVENING SESSION TEXT
And while they are yet speaking, I will hear - So it was with Daniel (Daniel 9:20-21; compare Psalm 32:5). So it was with the early disciples when they were assembled in an upper room in Jerusalem, and when the Spirit of God descended with great power on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2:1-2. So when Paul and Silas, in the prison at Philippi, 'prayed and sang praises to God,' he heard them and came for their rescue, Acts 16:25-26. How ready is He to anticipate our needs! How watchful is He of our necessities; and how rich His benevolence in providing for us! Even the most faithful and prayerful of his people receive numerous favors and comforts at his hand for which they have not directly asked Him. Good night..
