Title : Concentrate on What You Have

"He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. Proverbs 12:11"

Devotion : The kingdom of God is filled with countless principles for living a healthy and prosperous life. The opening scripture wants every child of God to concentrate on whatever gift or talent the Holy One has given to him/her. In other words, our Father has endowed His children with several gifts/talents to prosper therewith. What He wants us to do is to search within us and find them, develop them and prosper with them. Anyone who does not concentrate on his/her gift/talent but associates with people who have no aim in life lacks understanding, and in no time will be a loser in life. Aside from the natural gifts/talents, our Lord Jesus Christ also gave spiritual gifts to every born again Christian to prosper withal, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. As a child of God, your number one goal is to find your natural gifts and spiritual gifts; after finding them, till or develop them and prosper with them. When you are enjoying the prosperity from your gifts, do not forget to share with the weak in Christ. Hallelujah! Dearly beloved, have you discovered your natural gifts/talents and spiritual gifts? Are you developing them?

An elephant and a dog became pregnant at same time. Three months down the line the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.
On the eighteenth month the dog approached the elephant questioning, "Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. Whats going on?". The elephant replied, "There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I'm carrying is mighty and great."
Don't lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers. Don't be envious of others testimony. If you haven't received your own blessings, don't despair. Say to yourself "My time is coming, and when it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration."

I watched a local football match in a school playing ground. As I sat down, I asked one of the boys what the score was.
With a smile, he replied; "They are leading us 3-0" !
And I said, REALLY!!
I have to say you don't look discouraged.
"Discouraged?" the boy asked with a puzzled look ...
Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle?
I have confidence in the team and the managers; We shall definitely overcome!
Truly, the match ended 5-4 in favor of the boy's team!
He waved at me gently, with a beautiful smile as he left; I was amazed, mouth wide open; Such confidence; Such beautiful faith;
As I got back home that night, this question kept coming back to me:
"Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle?"
Life is like a game.
Why should you be discouraged when The Almighty God is your manager? Why should you be discouraged, when there's still life? Why should you be discouraged when your final whistle has not sounded? The truth is that many people blow the final whistle themselves;
But as long as there is life, nothing is impossible and it is never too late for you.
Half time is not full time and HIS calendar for your life is not man's calendar.
Don't blow the whistle yourself.
BE ENCOURAGED! DON'T GIVE UP.
With God all things are still possible!"
Everyday is a fresh start with potentials. .. keep the faith.... keep on believing in God . keep on believing in yourself and testimonies will surely come.
