👑☂️DOMINION DAILY DEVOTIONAL (25TH MAY, 2026)
TOPIC: WALKING IN SELF-CONTROL.
~~~
👑☂️SCRIPTURE READING:
Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
~~~

👑☂️DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Self-control is the strength to govern our thoughts, words, and actions even when emotions try to take over. It is not weakness to pause before reacting; it is wisdom. In a world that encourages instant gratification, self-control helps us choose what is right over what is easy. The Bible reminds us that “a person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls” (Proverbs 25:28). Through God’s help, we can develop discipline, patience, and restraint. True self-control is a fruit of spiritual maturity and a sign that the Holy Spirit is working within us. Apostle Paul understood this intimately. Writing to the Corinthians, he said:

"I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize." (1 Corinthians 9:27)

Paul did not rely on the flesh. He knew the flesh was weak, even when the spirit was willing. And so he leaned not on his own strength, but on the divine enablement that comes from abiding in Christ.
~~~
👑☂️ REFLECTION:
Today, you will face a thousand small choices. The Spirit has already given you the fruit of self-control; your task is to walk in it. When you are tempted to speak harshly, to indulge excessively, to procrastinate faithfully, or to surrender to despair, Pause. Breathe. Pray. Remember that you are not fighting for victory, but from victory. Christ has already won.
~~~

👑☂️PRAYER:
Lord, Help me to walk in self-control each day. Guard my words, thoughts, and actions, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of emotion. Strengthen me through your Spirit to resist temptation and live in a way that honors you in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE FOLLOWER.
~~~
⛴️🌟SCRIPTURE READING:
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27 (ESV)
~~~
⛴️🌟DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
To be a follower is one of the most profound callings in the Christian life. It is not merely about walking behind someone, it is about surrendering the direction of your soul to the One who laid down His life for you.
Jesus does not say, "My sheep obey my commands" or "My sheep agree with my teachings." He says they hear His voice. Following begins with listening. In a world filled with ten thousand competing voices—social media, ambition, anxiety, culture—the follower of Christ cultivates the quiet discipline of recognizing the Shepherd's call above all others.
To follow Jesus is to walk where he walked; through temptations, wilderness, through rejections, sufferings and finally into resurrection. There are no shortcuts in discipleship.
Consider the disciples by the Sea of Galilee. When Jesus called Peter and Andrew, they immediately left their nets (Matthew 4:20). James and John left their father in the boat (Matthew 4:22). Following required leaving something behind. It always does.
Yet Jesus promises something extraordinary in return: "I know them." Not merely as acquaintances, but with the intimate knowledge of a shepherd who has counted every wool fiber, who has searched for the one lost lamb, who carries the weak close to His heart. To be known by Christ is to be fully seen and still fully loved.
~~~
⛴️🌟REFLECTION:
A true follower listens to God’s voice through His Word, prayer, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Though the road may be narrow, every step with Christ leads to life, growth, and eternal joy.
~~~

⛴️🌟PRAYER:
Lord, you remain the shepherd of my soul, quiet my heart today so that I may hear your voice above the noise. Give me the courage to leave behind whatever nets entangle me from following you in Jesus name.

🍏🌱DOMINION DAILY DEVOTIONAL (22ND MAY, 2026).
TOPIC: THE LITTLE FOXES.
~~~
🍏🌱SCRIPTURE READING:
“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.” — Song of Solomon 2:15 (KJV)
~~~

🍏🌱DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
The little foxes here, are not wolves or lions—great, obvious threats that would send any watchman scrambling, but something far more subtle: the small things. The nuisances we dismiss. The compromises we excuse. These tiny habits we allow to dig under the fence of our spiritual lives don't just destroy the whole field in one dramatic raid. They come quietly, repeatedly, almost imperceptibly until the harvest was lost.
The vineyard represents your life in Christ: your relationships, your integrity, your peace, your calling. And the little foxes? They are the small resentments you refuse to forgive. The white lies that become a pattern. The prayer time shortened "just for today." The glance that lingers too long. The gossip disguised as "concern." The budget fudge. The anger you justify because "they deserved it."
The enemy does not always need to send a storm to ruin you. Sometimes he only needs to keep you too busy, too tired, too distracted to notice the fence has a hole.
~~~
🍏🌱REFLECTION:
Do not overlook the “little foxes.” Guard your heart, protect your spiritual life, and deal quickly with anything that threatens your walk with Christ.
~~~

🍏🌱PRAYER:
Lord, open my eyes to the little things that may be harming my spiritual life. Help me to walk in purity, wisdom, and obedience and remove every hidden attitude, habits, or distraction that hinders my growth in you in Jesus name.

TOPIC: KEEPING YOUR FIRE BURNING.
~~~
🌱🌿SCRIPTURE READING:
"The fire shall ever be burning upon t
he altar; it shall never go out" Lev 6:13 (KJV).
~~~

🌱🌿DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
In the the above scripture, God instructed the priests to keep the fire on the altar burning continually and never let it go out. That fire symbolized God’s presence, worship, and continual devotion. In the same way, believers today are called to keep their spiritual fire burning. It was the burning bush that caught Moses' attention, the pillar of fire that guided Israel through the wilderness, and the tongues of fire that descended at Pentecost. Fire represents God's holy presence, his purifying work, and the passionate love he desires from his people. But fire, by its very nature, requires tending. Left alone, even the brightest flame eventually reduces to glowing embers, then cold ash. The Apostle Paul's exhortation to Timothy to "fan into flame" the gift within him reminds us that spiritual fervor is not automatic. It demands our active participation. Fanning the flame involve a return to the place of prayer, spending time on the study of God’s Word, and guarding your heart from anything that weakens your hunger for Him. The more time you spend with God, the brighter your fire will burn.
~~~
🌱🌿REFLECTION:
Just as fire grows when fresh wood is added, your spiritual life grows stronger when you continually seek God’s presence. A burning believer carries light, warmth, and passion that influences others for Christ.
~~~

🌱🌿PRAYER:
Lord, remove the ashes of my past failures and the dampness of worldly distractions. Make me a vessel fit for your use. Make me a burning bush that draws others to your holy presence in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE BREATH OF LIFE.
~~~
🎄🪩SCRIPTURE READING:
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
~~~

🎄🪩DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
From the very beginning, humanity was not merely created by God’s hands; we were awakened by His breath. The breath of life represents more than physical existence, it symbolizes the life, presence, and spirit of God within us. Without His breath, Adam was only dust. It was God’s breath that gave purpose, movement, and identity. In the same way, many people today are alive physically but dry spiritually. Life’s pressures, disappointments, and distractions can leave the soul exhausted. Yet God still breathes fresh life into weary hearts. When His Spirit comes upon us, hope is restored, strength is renewed, and dead things begin to live again.
In Ezekiel 37, the valley of dry bones remained lifeless until the breath of God entered them. What looked hopeless suddenly became a mighty army. God’s breath can revive dreams, restore passion, heal brokenness, and renew your walk with Him. Jesus also breathed on His disciples and said, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost” (John 20:22). This reminds us that the Christian life is sustained not by human effort alone, but by the continual infilling of God’s Spirit.
~~~
🎄🪩REFLECTION:
In the account of creation, life begins not with a word or a law, but with breath. It is the most intimate gift placed not into the hands, but into the body itself.
~~~

🎄🪩PRAYER:
Lord, I thank you for the breath of life. Breathe afresh upon me today. Revive every dry area of my life and fill me with your Spirit in Jesus name.

TOPIC: SPIRITUAL MATURITY.
~~~~
Text: “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18 (KJV)
~~~~
🎀🔥DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT.
Spiritual maturity is one aspect that is quite important on our Christian walk. It is not measured by how long we have been in church, how loudly we pray, or how much Scripture we can quote. True maturity is seen in a life that is continually becoming more like Christ. It's God's desires that every believer grows beyond spiritual infancy into a stable, fruitful, and discerning Christian life. A spiritually mature believer does not easily give up during trials. Instead, they trust God even when circumstances are difficult. Maturity produces patience, humility, wisdom, self-control, and love for others. Just as a child must grow physically, every believer is expected to grow spiritually through prayer, studying the Word, obedience, and fellowship with God.
Spiritual immaturity often reveals itself through envy, division, unforgiveness, pride, and dependence on others for spiritual strength. God wants us to move from milk to solid food, becoming rooted and grounded in Him.
Jesus Himself demonstrated spiritual maturity by walking in obedience to the Father even unto death. Mature believers learn to submit their emotions, desires, and ambitions to the will of God. They are led by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
Growth takes time, consistency, and intentionality. A tree does not become fruitful overnight. In the same way, spiritual maturity is developed daily as we surrender to God and allow the Holy Spirit to shape our character.
~~~~
🎀🔥REFLECTION:
One of the clearest signs of growth is how a person handles what they cannot control.
~~~~

🎀🔥PRAYER:
Lord, give me grace to grow to grow into spiritual maturity in Jesus name.

DOMINION DAILY DEVOTIONAL (18TH MAY, 2026)
TOPIC: HOLD ON TO YOUR CONFIDENCE.
~~~~
SCRIPTURE READING:
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” — Hebrews 10:35 (KJV)
~~~~

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Confidence in God is one of the greatest weapons a believer can possess. The enemy often attacks our confidence through delays, disappointments, fear, and unanswered prayers. When situations become difficult, the temptation is to give up, become discouraged, or doubt God’s promises. Yet Hebrews 10:35 reminds us not to throw away our confidence because it carries a great reward.
Biblical confidence is not pride or self-dependence. It is a deep assurance that God is faithful and able to fulfill His word. Abraham remained confident even when circumstances looked impossible, and in due season God fulfilled His promise (Romans 4:20-21). David stood before Goliath with confidence because he trusted in the Lord rather than in human strength (1 Samuel 17:45). Sometimes the waiting season can make believers weary. You may have prayed for a breakthrough, healing, restoration, or direction, and nothing seems to be changing. However, God is calling you today to remain steadfast. Your confidence in Him is not wasted. Every promise of God has an appointed time.
Do not allow fear, criticism, or temporary setbacks to weaken your faith. Continue praying, trusting, and walking in obedience. The reward attached to unwavering confidence is always greater than the battle you are facing.
~~~~
REFLECTION:
The steadier kind of confidence isn't loud. It doesn't need to be. It sits quietly underneath your choices, as a guarantee that all things are possible through God.
~~~~

PRAYER:
Lord, help me to keep my confidence in you no matter the challenges around me. Strengthen my faith when I feel weak and teach me to trust You completely and wait patiently for your perfect timing in Jesus name.

🌐🎄DOMINION DAILY DEVOTIONAL (15TH MAY, 2026)
TOPIC: HONOURING GOD.
~~~~
🌐🎄SCRIPTURE READING:
“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.” — Proverbs 3:9
~~~~
🌐🎄DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Honouring God goes beyond what we say in church or during prayer. It shows up in the way we live every day. We honour God when we put Him first, obey His Word, and make choices that reflect our love for Him.
A lot of people want God’s blessings, but fails to honour him. True honour means valuing Him above everything else. It means trusting Him even when life is difficult, giving Him our best and not our leftovers, and living in a way that pleases Him. God is not just looking for occasional worship; He desires hearts that sincerely respect and reverence Him.
David was called a man after God’s heart because he deeply valued God’s presence. Even after making mistakes, he remained humble and repentant before the Lord. That is what honour looks like — a heart that continually turns back to God.
Honouring God also affects how we treat others. When we walk in humility, speak kindly, forgive people, and live with integrity, we reflect God’s character. Our actions become a testimony of the God we serve.
Sometimes honouring God requires sacrifice. It may mean standing for righteousness when others compromise or obeying Him when it is not convenient. But God never overlooks a life that truly honours Him. He promises to honour those who honour Him (1 Samuel 2:30).
~~~~
🌐🎄 REFLECTION:
Honour is reciprocal. When we give honour, respect, and value to God and to others, it often returns back to us in blessings, favour, and goodwill. The Bible says in 1 Samuel 2:30, “Them that honour me I will honour.” This shows that God responds to those who sincerely reverence Him with obedience and humility.
~~~~

🌐🎄PRAYER:
Lord, thank you for your honour on my life. Teach me to put you first in everything and to live in a way that brings glory to your name in Jesus name

TOPIC: GOD'S EXPECTATIONS (THE FRUIT OF OUR LIPS).
~~~~
❇️✳️SCRIPTURE READING:
“By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.” — Hebrews 13:15 (KJV)
~~~~
❇️✳️DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Our God is an expectant God, he also has some desires from us as believers. One of which is the fruit of our lips. God desires that our lips continually produce praise, thanksgiving, truth, and encouragement. Even in difficult seasons, believers are called to offer a “sacrifice of praise.” A sacrifice costs something. Praising God when life is easy is common, but praising Him in pain, uncertainty, or disappointment is an act of faith and spiritual maturity. Also, our daily conversations should be words seasoned with grace and faith instead of complains, gossips, bitterness and negative utterances which do not glorify God.
~~~~
❇️✳️ REFLECTION:
Words seasoned with grace and faith are not empty; they carry the power to heal, encourage, build, and above all glorify God.
~~~~

❇️✳️PRAYER:
Lord, thank you for this insight, help me to speak life, faith, and encouragement to others no matter the circumstances in Jesus name.
