Topic. *Ruth: A Daughter That Abides Forever*
Text: Ruth 1:16
“Where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.”

1. Ruth is one of the clearest biblical examples of enduring loyalty. When others chose the easier path, Ruth chose commitment. When circumstances gave her a reason to leave, she chose to stay. Her loyalty to Naomi was not based on convenience, benefits, or favorable conditions; it was rooted in conviction and love.
Ruth's loyalty was tested by hardship. Naomi had lost her husband and sons, and there appeared to be no immediate advantage in staying with her. Yet Ruth refused to abandon the relationship God had established in her life. She remained faithful when there was nothing obvious to gain. This is the highest form of loyalty—remaining committed even when circumstances are not attractive.
2. Many people stay only while things are comfortable, but loyal sons and daughters remain steadfast through difficult seasons. They do not walk away because of challenges, delays, correction, or temporary disappointments. Like Ruth, they understand that destiny is often connected to the relationships God has ordained.
Ruth also demonstrated practical loyalty. She did not merely make promises; she backed her words with actions. She served, labored, supported Naomi, and remained committed to her welfare. True loyalty is not merely spoken; it is demonstrated through faithful actions, sacrifice, and consistency.
3. Because of her loyalty, God honored Ruth beyond her imagination. She became the wife of Boaz and was included in the lineage of Jesus Christ. What began as loyalty ended in legacy.
God still rewards those who remain faithful to divine relationships, kingdom assignments, and spiritual commitments. Ruth teaches us that loyalty may require
