As believers, we're not of this world, so we can't live by this world's standards. If we truly want to grow spiritually, God's Word has to be our guide. Spiritual prosperity comes before material prosperity. 2 Chronicles 26:1-5, 1 John 2:15–17. Loving the world doesn't just mean being around people who aren't believers it means adopting the world's values and living like everyone else. Jesus was a friend to sinners, but He never became like them. Instead, He showed them the Father. That's the same love we're called to show by sharing the Gospel.
Romans 12:1–2 tells us not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by renewing our minds. It's okay if your path looks different. We were never called to follow the crowd.
Matthew 5:14–16 reminded us that every gift God has given us our voice, talents, creativity, influence is meant to shine for Him. Nothing we have is really ours; it's all for His glory.
Let's never forget the assignment Jesus gave us in Mark 16:15–16: Go into all the world and preach the Gospel. That's still primary assignment.
