ACADEMIC FAILURE?? 💔

It is pure deceit from the pit of hell that a christian student can remain an academic failure!

We are made for excellence and the spirit of God in us is the advantage we have over non Christian students 💪🏾

Have you been failing successively for a while?😭
Does it feel like God has abandoned you academically? 💔
Maybe this is because you are yet to apply God's wisdom and maybe you have always relied on your own wisdom.

The SPIRIT OF WISDOM HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU AND I.

Today on our testimonies as Drama Ministers...

For me...

WHAT'S THE MOST TASKING ROLE YOU'VE BEEN ASSIGNED AS A DRAMA MINISTER?

It was the role of a rugged female gang member. Though it wasn't really challenging just that I had to learn to speak pidgin English correctly

HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THE CHALLENGE?

I prayed.
I browsed online for what to say as a bad girl and how to walk and the body gestures🌚.
I practiced before my mirror and even tried out some crazy walking steps in my room which I would end up laughing at myself🥲😅.
The costume actually helped a lot to put me in character😌

God really helped me

Today on our testimonies as Drama Ministers...

THE MOST TASKING ROLE I'VE BEEN ASSIGNED AS A DRAMA MINISTER.

It was the role of an assistant devil. It was really not an easy role for me.

HOW I OVERCAME.
I prayed.

I asked a friend for help. She is a very good actor.

I had to learn how to move my body to perfectly fit the role.

I practiced before my mum and my younger brother. Trust me, they really made fun of me. My mum even called me an Iroko tree 💔💔😂😂...

I did not quit, till I was able to adjust my body movement.

I also had to learn how to talk like a male devil 😩😩 ( this their baritone voice)

God did the rest. 💃💃

Today on our testimonies as Drama Ministers...

WHAT'S THE SECOND MOST TASKING ROLE YOU'VE BEEN ASSIGNED AS A DRAMA MINISTER?

It was a stage and film production at Mount Zion film academy.
My group had a project to work on a stage and movie production titled AGBANI and I played the role of a queen (Olori)

Challenges
1. I didn't know how to speak yoruba
2. The stage drama was to be presented at the end of week one and the movie production should be ready at the end of week two. For I and my team members, the time frame was so short, coupled with the fact that we were still have film classes and writing exams.
3. Technicality of the stage drama and movie production.
4. Working with a team of actors and production crew.
5. I was not just an actress, I was also in charge of sounds for the movie production
6. Plenty rehearsals
7. Plenty dead lines to reach.

HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THE CHALLENGE?

I prayed.
I asked questions.
I was opened to learn a lot
I was opened to learn the basic Yoruba culture
I built quality relationships
I worked behind the scenes on days I wasn't acting
I practiced before my team members.
