Jehovah is close to those who are brokenhearted and deeply cares for those who are hurting. —Ps. 34:18.

Even if others mistreat or undervalue us, Jehovah loves us and sees our true worth. He recognized the good in our hearts and drew us to himself because we are precious to him. —John 6:44.
Jesus perfectly reflected Jehovah’s compassion. He showed kindness to those who were rejected by others and warmly comforted those who exercised faith, such as the woman who was healed after touching his garment. —Matt. 9:9-12; Mark 5:25-34; John 14:9.
We can be confident that Jehovah values our faith, our love for him, and our sincere efforts to serve him, and he is always ready to provide comfort and help.

‎“I have grown weary with my sighing; All night long I soak my bed with tears; I flood my couch with weeping. My eye is weak from my grief; It has dimmed because of all those harassing me.
‎ Get away from me, all you who behave wickedly, For Jehovah will hear the sound of my weeping.”

‎— Psalm 6:6-8

To “make sure of the more important things,” we should base our decisions on spiritual priorities rather than material benefits. —Phil. 1:10.
When choosing between acceptable options—such as two jobs—it is wise to consider more than salary or personal preference. We should ask whether a choice will affect our congregation meetings, family worship, ministry, or our ability to care for our family's spiritual and emotional needs.
By putting our worship of Jehovah and our family’s spiritual welfare ahead of material advantages, we make decisions that honor Jehovah and receive his blessing.
