Our History
It all started in the beginning of the year 2005, when God began to reveal Himself to Pastor Efosa Joseph Imasuen the founder of this great ministry through ministration to people with different challenges and giving them solution. As a saw miller who is dedicated to his business wondered how can he abandon his business for the work of God, as God was now asking him to start up worshi
p place for Him. Though he was stubborn to answer this call of God in his life but he finally answer the call by September 2005 after surviving several fatal accidents that almost cost his life and in the process, his business crumbled. The name HILL OF DELIVERANCE MISSION was given to him by God through a revelation and the church first service was held on September 15th 2005 in his sitting room with (6) six members. God in His power will always complete n fulfil whatever He has started. After the first service, God revealed to him and ask him to get a place that He has given him at 6, Amadin Street, Off St. Saviour Road and start full worship a full worship centre and the mission will be one of the greatest in her time. With this voice, he had courage and located the place as directed by God though renting the place was difficult because there was no money and the owner of the land gave him a condition of the lease that he should pay for 5years and he pleaded for a year and it was accepted. The money that was paid for the land came miraculously and a structure was erected on the land and manage to roof half of the structure. The church started her full service in that structure, the first miracle took place during the pe***ng of the building when a person with the spirit of insanity was delivered after undergoing a 3days fasting and prayer program and this miracle announces the church. As he journeyed in the mission, the road became very rough for him and his family. That was the question going through his mind. In the midst of all this challenges, God appeared unto him and said I have given you a period of years to spread all over the world and in that revelation, a scripture was given to him and it was Acts 16:5 which read A church is established by faith and increase daily by number. In all this, God was manifesting His power in different ways and diverse of miracles were happening. Gradually, the church began to increase in numbers. Within the period of establishment till date, the church has ordained 20 Pastors and has established six (6) branches in Edo State, one in Lagos State and other new branches in Port Harcourt, Asaba and Abuja. There is also a church in Accra-Ghana, and an international fellowship centre in Madrid-Spain with an ordained evangelist in charge. The ministry has touch lives in most parts of the countries in the world. God has also given to the great church n annual deliverance program tagged A NIGHT OF MIRACLE which the church is financially and spiritually committed to yearly and it attracts thousands of people from all works of life and denominations and instant miracles are recorded in the program.
