When we obey Him, He blesses, intervenes, fights for us, and shows up in our situations—just as Abraham experienced divine blessings through obedience.
*Last Sunday, we continued with Part 2: PRAYER.* We learned that prayer is another powerful force that moves God, even though many believers struggle with it. Through prayer, God blesses, intervenes, fights battles, and brings breakthroughs.
From the lives of Hezekiah and Peter, we see clearly that prayer can change any situation and move God to respond.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐) — 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫
Prayer is one of the major things that move God to move for His people. The things that move God are often the things believers find most difficult to do. Just like obedience, prayer is difficult for many believers, yet it is very powerful.
Prayer moves God to:
• Bless His people
• Arise for His people
• Fight for His people
• Intervene in situations
• Promote and uplift His people
• Do anything and everything for His people
However, many believers today struggle to pray. They can spend hours chatting, gossiping, working, or doing other activities, but find it difficult to pray even for a short time. This shows that prayer is often neglected despite its importance.
Biblical Examples of Prayer Moving God
Hezekiah (2 Kings 20:1–6)
When Hezekiah was told he would die, he prayed to God. God heard his prayer, healed him, and added 15 years to his life. This shows that prayer can change situations and move God to intervene.
Peter (Acts 12:1–12)
Peter was arrested and about to be executed. The church prayed continuously, and God sent an angel to deliver him from prison. Prayer moved God to rescue Peter.
Examples of Prayerful Men
• David prayed regularly (Psalm 55:17)
• Jesus prayed early and all night (Mark 1:35, Luke 6:12)
• The Apostles devoted themselves to prayer (Acts 6:4)
These examples show that spiritual men and women make prayer a habit.
Conclusion
Develop a strong and steadily growing prayer life. Start small if necessary, but be consistent. Do not depend only on church prayers; build a personal prayer altar.
Prayer is powerful. Prayer moves God.
Therefore: Pray, brother. Pray, sister. Pray, brethren.
