We are faced with countless decisions that can shape our lifes everyday

God has given us the power to make choice/decisions but you cannot control the consequences of those decisions

HOW TO MAKE DECISIONS /CHOICE IN MARITAL SETTLEMENT

1: Seek God's guidance -At the place of prayer,the word and spiritual counselling. Jer:6:16,Jer:33:3
A)There is more to man that eyes can see.1cor:2:11
B)No one know what is in man except the spirit of God.2Tim:3:15,ps:119:99

2:Rely more on the spiritual than the physical. Rom:8:6,1chro:2:11
A)90% of human behaviour are covered, only 10% can be seen due to pressures and temptation. 1jh:3,2cor:5:7,prov:21:30
B)Don't conclude on people matter/situation because the process of time can process a nobody into somebody,a none entity can be a celebrity

3:Give it time before you make any choice. Prov:25:8-10
A)Every conviction takes time to be proved.matt:26:35,65-70,75
B)Every decisions takes time to be manifested
C)Better alternatives can alter a decision

4:Be sensitive to little things that may not seem to really matter but matter to life and destiny. Matt:10:29-30,1cor:5:6

Introduction:
1. The people we relate with or call friends can either affect our destiny negatively or positively
2. Association can significantly impact our destiny negatively or positively
3. Association can either assist or resist destiny fulfillment

Scriptural Examples on the power of Association
a. Amnon 2Sam 13:1-4 Wrong counsel led to in**st, and ultimately death. The very counselor published his woes.

B. Saul and Samuel 1Sam 9:12 the association gave Saul restoration, fulfillment of purpose and made him a king in Israel

C. Jonathan and David.
Some people you meet in life can either spare or take your life
1 Sam 20:23

D. Ruth and Naomi Ruth 1:6-22

E. Esther and Mordecai Esth 2:7
Adherence to counsel from Mordecai made Esther a national figure in Persia.

F. Samson and Delilah. Judges 14:20
Samson's wife-to- be was given to His companion; His best man which led to his despair and consequent end on the laps of Delilah.

G. Jesus and His disciples Mt 10:1, Acts 4:13
Fearful and timid people met with Jesus and became bold.

-When you're angry, be sensitive to the kind of decision you make
-Whatever you're doing, make sure someone is learning from you else the vision dies with you; relate this also to business family life etc as whatever happens with your business or family when you travel or away for a short time shows what will happen when you're dead or no longer there
- whatever you share multiplies

2. Your association affects your character.
The way you behave can suddenly change cos of the person you call friends.

3. Your association will determine your inspiration and motivation.

1. Choose your friends wisely, be intentional about your choice of friends; do not let your friends choose you
Look out for positive, supportive and like minded individuals who can help you support your goals

-It is good to fulfill purpose but better to fulfill it on time.
- Good purpose without adequate timing will end in frustration
What does it mean to fulfill purpose on time?
1.To find meaning and direction to life on time
2. To understand your passion and portion in the land of the living on time
3. Understanding what to do with your life on time.

Seven D's of discovery and Fulfilling purpose:

1. Define you purpose on earth on time. Find out what you want to do with your life on time.
Possess a sense of urgency.
-When it's your season, it's easy but more difficult when it's out of season.
- Discover your purpose and pay the price on time.

2. Define your life's principles on time; set your standard for living on time.
-Discover your life's priorities on time.
- Have principles
- If you have nothing to stand for, you can fall for anything.

3. Define the quality of your spirituality on time.. Rev 3:15 , PS 11:3

4. Define your association on time.
- Who to call a friend , wife, husband. 1Cor 15:33
Not everyone can become your friend if you want to fulfill the purpose of your existence.
- Choose your friends and don't let them choose you.
-Three Nazarenes were recorded in scriptures: Samson, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ; only Samson did not fulfill his destiny and this was due to wrong association.

5. Define your role model and mentoral influence on time.
- Avoid multiple influences. Jer 3:15 every Pastor is sent to a specific group of people; ask God who is your pastor.
1Pet 5:5
- Be spiritually accountable.
- For you to go far with God, you have to be a fool in God's hands.

6. Decide to embark on personal development on time.
- Adult education is not easy; it's easy when it's in your season.
2 Tim 2:15

7. Decide to commence making of impact on time.

Counsel:
(A).Even if you don't want to fulfill your purpose, do it because of your generation; there's a generation resting on your shoulder.

(B).For the sake of those waiting for you to fail so they can mock you, don't Fail?
