GOOD MORNING

These verses in Isaiah are difficult to read. We are so lucky. Christ bore the sins of all of us. He carried the cross, laden with all of humanity's transgressions and iniquities. He did not deserve this fate! We were the ones that went astray, the ones that did not follow the instructions of our Lord and Shepherd. God is merciful, and we have a chance to be eternally grateful in heaven because of it.

PRAYER

I ask that You listen to my humble prayer, Abba Father. Help me to vanquish my demons, Lord, strengthening my faith with each day. I have wandered off the path of righteousness, sometimes losing the path completely. You have carried me when I refused to walk and always directed me back to the path through Your love. I want to be more like You and Your son, Jesus Christ, and it is with this prayer that I hope to pledge my life debt to His sacrifice. In His holy name I pray, Amen.

GOOD MORNING

INSPIRATION

As Christians, we have been chosen by God to share His light with the world. Therefore, it is our duty to do it with mercy, kindness, humility, meekness (gentleness), and longsuffering (patience). It reminds me of 1 Colossians 13: 4-5: “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.” Now go and love the Lord and all people!

PRAYER

Gracious Lord, You are merciful, kind, humble, gentle, patient, and never think evil. I wish that I could say that I was the same, but as You know, merciful Father, I am weak and have trespassed against You and my fellow man. I ask Your forgiveness for my sins, and implore You to aid me in my path to righteousness. I shall devote my energy to committing acts of kindness and humility, and do them in honor of my service to You and Your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

INSPIRATION

INSPIRATION

I think many of us have spent many sleepless nights trying to understand what life means and God’s divine plan for us. God created heaven and earth. How can we possibly grasp His divine plan given we have only seen a fraction of one of his creations? We were given a choice: to be FAITHFUL to him or be tempted by sin. “In God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” (Psalms 56:4) Trust the Lord. Be faithful and humble. Leave the rest to our loving God. Hosanna in the highest heaven!

PRAYER

Dear heavenly Father, give me the wisdom to be patient and trust in Your plan for me. I pray today that You give me the wisdom and clarity to explain what I can and faithful to You with that which I cannot. I trust You Lord. I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to help all of humanity greater understand Your ways. I yearn for You, the day with which I will see You as You truly are, and be whom I truly am. In the name of the Father, son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

I imagine that you may have heard the famous quote, "Keep your friends close and enemies closer." This quote has more nefarious intentions, but Jesus wants us to keep our enemies close for positive reasons: simply put, we can help them. It is our duty to love our enemies as ourselves in order to set an example, because an example was sent to earth for us in Jesus Christ. Honor His death by living as He did, sacrificing Himself to His enemies so that they too, could be forgiven.

PRAYER

O heavenly Father, You sent Your only son into the den of His enemies, sacrificing Him so that we could understand Your true love for us. This is the love I wish to spread to all people, my Lord, and I am sorry for being weak and selfish so often when I should help even my enemies, for they may need it the most. I thank you every moment of my life for sending Jesus as an example for me, and I shall do all that I can to follow His ways. I pray in honor of Jesus' holy name. Amen.
