Topic-you must forgive

Text-col 3:13
13-you must make allowance for each other faults and forgive the person who offend you.Remember,the lord forgave you,so you must forgive others (NLT)

*yesterday we talk about creating allowance for offence that would come,preparing your your mind ahead of time.
*Today we will be looking at the next that says "forgive the person who offends you"
The last part says you must forgive.
*I don't know who has offended you, how great the offence is,the damages that the offence has caused,that you have made up your mind never to forgive,never to let go.
*The lord said i should tell you to let go,to forgive and have peace of mind.
*The fact is if you don't forgive there are many things you can not access from God.
1,your own faults,sins will not be forgiven
2,your prayers will not be answered
3,you can get sick. Etc
*when the lord said you must forgive is because unforgiveness is not good for man kind,it causes bridge between man and God,making the work of Jesus christ on the cross to be invain,that's why God frowned against unforgiveness.

Note-when it comes to forgiveness the lord is not giving you a choice is a command, that you must obey.

Counsel-Do everything in your power to forgive those who hurt you badly whether is convenient or not is for your own good.

Topic-forgiveness before the offense

Text-col 3:13
13- You must make allowance for each other's faults and forgive the person who offends you.Remember,the lord forgave you,so you must forgive others.(NLT)

*Let's look at the very first sentence of the text,"you must make allowance for each other's."
*Note the word MUST,it means is a necessity,some thing you must do,
*Is not if you can make allowance no,but you must make allowance for each other's.
*That's because God knows offences will come as long as you are still living in this world.
*No matter how careful you are offence will come ,so the lord is trying to prepare your mind ahead.
*When you know this and walk with this consciousness,it will be very hard for people to shock you with their behavior, attitude betrayal
*It will be very hard for you to fall into depression because of offences that comes your way.you won't be heart broken because you are prepared already.
*Live your daily life especting offences from those you love,those that are close and those that are far from you.by so doing you will have peace of mind and it will be very easy for you to dust every offences that comes your way.
Note-as long as you are still breathing offence will come.
Counsel-prepare your mind for the offence you have not seen,ensure your shock absorbver is very strong.
Prayer
In the name of Jesus,father I ask that you give us the Grace to forgive in advance.

Topic-love the father through the son(1)

Text-john 16:27
27-for the father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believe that I came from God.(Esv)

*No one can have access to the love of the father,if that person has not loved and believes in his son jesus christ of nazareth
*That is to say,the saying I know God but I don't believe in jesus like I have heard some folks says,is not possible.
*You can not know God directly, you must pass through Jesus.
*You can not enjoy the love of the father without going through Jesus. (Joh 14:6)
*All you to do is to love Jesus with all your heart
*If you know jesus,you have known the father
*If you love Jesus,you have love the father
*If you see Jesus,you have seen the father (John 14:9)
*You must understand that you need to do anything special for God to love you,all you need is to accept Jesus as your lord and personal savior.(Rom 9:9-10)
*Give Jesus your life,love Jesus,and God will love you and give access to his love and all the benefits that comes with His love.

Note
IF you don't love Jesus,the father will not love you.

Counsel
If you want all the benefits that comes with the love of the father must genuinely love Jesus and proof it to the world.

Prayers
In the name of Jesus,father I ask that you help me to love and be committed to your son Jesus christ of nazareth

Tpoic-love in action not words

Text-John 14:15
15-If you love me,keep my commandments.kjv

*love is in action not in words,you can not say I love the lord and you keep hurting Him by an act of disobedience.
*look at it this way if your spouse who claims to love you do nothing but hurt you every day,will you believe in that love?
*I wonder when I see Christians who claims they loved God living a life opposite God own life style. God own instructions.
*Obedience is a sign of love,if you love God,you will obey Him.
*Commitment is a sign of love,if you love God you will be committed to Him.
*God is faithful to His words towards us because He loved us.
*If you love God,you will keep His word.(John 14:23)
*love is in action not in words,
*let the world see that you love God in your action.

Note-Action speaks louder than voice.just don't say it,act it, proof it.

Counsel-Deliberately proofs your love for God always.

Prayers
In the name of jesus,father i ask that you help my to always obey your words as a proof of love for you.
