There was a December 31st I dropped my phone as a collateral. I didn't crossover to a new year with it.
It was getting to night time and my church speakers were not OK for crossover service. We needed to rent speakers.
That time, I wasn't called to ministry. I was only serving in church. I didn't want to call my pastor to disturb him about the church speakers. First, I went to a friend's church to get me one of their speakers but it wasn't available.
So, I went to meet a DJ who had speakers and other instruments in his store. Since I didn't have money with me, I told him I'll drop my phone.
He agreed. Guess what? One of the speakers we rented blew during the crossover service. When we were done, I told my pastor and we paid for everything.
Anytime I recall the little things we could do to serve in the house of God, it gives so much joy.
Whatever capacity you are serving, do it with all your heart and might. The Lord rewards.
