Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of this new day and for the grace that gives us more than an outward form of godliness.

Father, we do not want empty religion, looking spiritual while remaining unchanged.

Deliver us from relying on rules, appearances and self-effort to accomplish what only your Spirit can do in us.

We desire transformation, not performance. Change what we love, what we desire and what we pursue.

Let the life of Christ become evident in our thoughts, choices, conversations and private lives.

Teach us to depend on you daily, and give us grace to put to death everything in us that does not honour you.

Make us increasingly like Jesus from the inside out, at home, at work, in private and in public in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

This new week, I pray for you.

May the work of your hands prosper. May doors that are right for you open, and may God give you discernment to walk away from what only looks good but is not His will.

I pray for your home and family. May there be peace within your walls, provision for every need, protection from harm, and good news that will cause you to thank God.

May the Lord preserve your health, renew your strength, and settle every matter that has troubled your heart.

You will not be stranded. You will not lack help. Grace will speak for you this week.

May you experience the goodness of God in very personal ways in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father, today I pray for everyone whose obedience has made life harder.

We did what was right, but the outcome does not yet look like a reward. We have told the truth, remained faithful and released something we genuinely wanted, and now we are wondering whether it was worth it.

Strengthen us, Lord. Do not let temporary pain make us regret obeying you.

Provide whatever our obedience has cost us, restore what needs to be restored and give us peace concerning what must remain behind.

We remember that the cross was not the end of Jesus’ story. Let this difficult season produce the fruit you intended, and remind us that no sacrifice made in obedience to you is ever wasted in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Father, thank you for carrying us faithfully from Monday to Friday. Thank you for your mercy and grace that have sustained us through this week.

Today, teach us to listen well and discern wisely. Give us ears that recognise wisdom and hearts that can discern its source.

When the voices we love try to talk us out of what you have called us to do, root us so deeply in your word that neither affection, fear nor the desire for comfort can move us away from your will.

As we go into this weekend, refresh us in body and mind.

Give us time to rest, enjoy our families and friends, and be renewed for the week ahead. Keep us safe in all our movements, and let our homes be filled with peace and joy, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father, I pray for everyone standing before an important decision today. Some opportunities look perfect on paper, but only you can see where they will lead.

Deliver us from the fear of missing out and the pressure to say yes because others expect us to.

Give us discernment to recognise what is from you, what is merely attractive and what has arrived at the wrong time.

If an opportunity will take us outside your will, give us the courage to walk away, no matter how profitable or impressive it appears. If it is from you, give us peace and wisdom to proceed.

We trust that what you have for us will never require us to disobey you. Your will is better than every offer we may have to release in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Father, we welcome you into this day.

Thank you for new mercies, for breath in our lungs, and for purpose in our steps.

Lord, teach us the posture of Christ, to listen before we speak, to hear before we act and to seek your will above our own comfort and convenience.

Sharpen our ears to hear you clearly, and give us the courage to obey immediately when we do.

Lord, go before us, order our day, our thoughts and conversations.

Let your peace rule in our homes. Let your wisdom guide our work and let your love be seen in us wherever we go.

We trust you with what we cannot control, and we give you what we can in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Father, thank you for bringing us into a new week. Thank you for your mercy, your faithfulness and the privilege of knowing Jesus for ourselves.

Lord, as we go through this week, help us to want your will above our comfort, our fears and the opinions of others.

Do not let us become people who hear your word, agree with it, and then continue as though you have not spoken.

Make us sensitive to your voice and willing to respond without delay.

We commit ourselves, our families, our work and everything concerning us into your hands. We cover ourselves with the blood of Jesus. Protect us from evil, sustain those who are tired, give wisdom to those who need direction, and strengthen every weary heart.

This week, give us the courage to say yes when you speak and the grace to follow through. May our obedience be prompt, wholehearted and pleasing to you in Jesus' name. Amen.

Father, thank you for carrying us through this week and for showing us Jesus again through your Word.

We have seen His humility, His obedience, His Lordship and the mind that you desire to form in us.

Please do not let these truths remain things we have only read; let them become evident in the way we live.

Continue your work in us. Give us hearts that receive correction, that are quick to obey, willing to serve and secure enough to take the lower place.

Let people encounter Jesus in our words, attitudes, choices and the way we treat them.

We commit this day and everything that concerns us into your hands. Give us wisdom for every decision we make today, and let your peace rest over our homes, our families and everything that concerns us..

And may knowing Jesus continue to change us in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father, this morning we yield ourselves to you again.

Do in us what only you can do. Soften what has become hard, correct what has gone wrong, and uproot anything in us that does not look like Jesus.

Give us willing hearts, we do not want to fight the very work we have been asking you to do in us.

As we face this day, make us sensitive to your Spirit.

Help us recognise your hand in corrections and uncomfortable moments.

Give us wisdom in our work, patience with people and grace for every responsibility you have entrusted to us.

Our families, plans, needs and unanswered questions are safe with you.

We do not have to have everything figured out today. You are still working.

Help us to cooperate with you and trust the process of becoming who you have called us to be in Jesus’ name, Amen.
