Sunday Divine Service began with opening hymn SS&S 210 "Glory ever be to Jesus." Thereafter the congregation was blessed by the ministration from Elshaddai choir "Wonderful love" and Mamas choir ( Sunshine women).

Thereafter Apostle Francis Orelu taught on the topic titled "Need for the strong to support the weak " taking his texts from the Bible books of Romans 15:1-3 and Luke 22:31-33.

As Christians, it is advisable not to mock those who have fallen else we fall also. Brethrens can be strengthened through prayers and advice. It is not only through fasting and prayers we strengthen brethrens as sometimes what is needed could be material things like giving food to those who don't have, providing jobs/job opportunities to brethren as written in the Bible book of Job4:3.

Apostle Orelu emphasized the need for charity to be supreme in all of our dealings as believers (1Corin. 13:1), calling on brethrens to always check on one another as this could be a source of strength to the weak.

The service also witnessed the Thanksgiving of the branch Deacon, Deacon Agbolahor as he appreciated God for giving him victory over ill-health and also students from Christ's Chosen Campus Fellowship (Uniben/UBTH chapter) thanking God for the success of their just concluded program.

Apostle prayed for the congregants declaring a great week ahead.

Stay blessed and looking forward to seeing you next week for another encounter with God.

Sunday Divine Service began with opening hymn SS&S 22 (Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty) thereafter Elshaddai choir blessed the church with their piece "Urhuese"

Apostle Orelu Francis taught on the topic titled "Don't forget your root." With text from John14:1-2.

When a man is disconnected from his root, he is disconnected from the grace and anointing that is attached to that root. The root can be the altar where a man was dedicated or the place a man encountered God. Lot in the Bible book of Genesis disconnected from Abraham, over time he lost everything save his two daughters.

Apostle Orelu emphasized that the reason people do not stay long in prosperity is because they forget their history and as such lose humanity. The humanity needed to sustain grace is connected to one history (root). When a man forget those who were of help to him in the past, help will be denied him in time.

Prophetic declaration were made for the congregants as the week was declared blessed by God's servant, Apostle Francis Orelu.

Closing hymn was taken from SS&S 543.

Remain blessed and looking forward to seeing you next week for another encounter with God.

Sunday Divine service which was graced with the presence of the Spiritual Leader of Christ's Chosen Church of God Int'l began with opening hymn SS&S 89 ( The great Physician now is near). After which Elshaddai choir blessed the congregation with their piece "Testimony" and special "Wa noyi".

Apostle Unuefe cited Samuel in the Bible as one who understood the voice of his master (Eli). As Christians, it is advisable to discern voices whether it be of God and that putting to practice the word of God we hear, there lies our blessings as Abraham in the book of Genesis heard and knew the voice of God to take his son for sacrifice which he obeyed and received the blessings that follows.

Today also witnessed the dedication of baby Daniella who was dedicated to God by the Spiritual Leader.

Looking forward to seeing you next Sunday for another encounter with God. Stay blessed.

Sunday Divine Service began with opening hymn SS&S 306 (There shall be showers of blessing). Elshaddai choir blessed the congregation with their special "King of Glory".

Thereafter Rev. Wisdom Osuji preached on the topic titled "The power of testimony" with Bible texts from the books of John 1:6-7 and Rev. 12:11.

Testimony Reverend defined as the display of the acts and wonders of God and also a proof (witness) that one's life has encountered the King of kings.

Rev. Osuji emphasized that one way a believer can live a victorious life is through testimony (Rev. 12:11) and that any believer(s) who do not testify of God's goodness has opened the doors for enemies to plunder, fear is a factor that makes people not to testify.

Testimony implies that one has conquered and overcome. It is also a proof that shows that there was battle along the way but a believer emerged victorious.

The power of testimony makes one grow spiritually and also boost confidence as seen in Job 14:7-9. It also validate the existence of God that God can be trusted.

Thereafter Rev Osuji prayed and blessed the congregation.

Stay blessed and looking forward to seeing you next Sunday for another encounter with God.

Sunday Divine Service of Ingathering Harvest began with opening hymn SS&S 307 and Elshaddai choir blessed the congregation with their piece titled "Lord of the harvest".

Thereafter Rev. Samuel Akhuere exhorted the house on the topic titled "Understanding the secret of offering thanksgiving and sacrifice" taking his texts from Deuteronomy 28:47-49 which tells the importance for believers to possess a joyful/cheerful heart when giving their sacrifices as a man who has joy in his heart is a good man and he who does not have joy in his heart is a wicked person.

The secret of good offering is one done with a cheerful heart.

Gen. 4:3-5 tells also of Cain and Abel who offered sacrifices to God. While Abel did his with a joyful heart, Cain did his with an angry heart as such his sacrifice was rejected by God.

David also in 2 Samuel 6:14 offered a dance offering unto the Lord and in that joy, God blessed him.

Isaiah 12:3 also tells that with joy shall we draw water from the well of salvation.

Thereafter the congregation offered unto God their products and offering with dancing and singing.
