TOPIC: A MEMORIAL BEFORE GOD.

TEXT: Isa. 38:1-5; Matt. 26:6-13; Acts 10:1-4.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Within the context of our devotional today, a memorial is something that you have done, that is standing before God, for which God will continually remember you and your generations.
A memorial can be your sacrifice, giving, wholehearted worship, following hard after God, good-works etc.
It is that book of remembrance before God which propels Him towards your direction.
Mal. 3:16-18.

MEMORY VERSE:
" Remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifices, Selah." Ps. 20:3.

INTRODUCTION:
While we are not saved by our goodworks, Eph. 2:8-9; Tit. 3:4-5, however, God expects us to engage in Kingdom service, goodworks, sacrifices, that will stand as a memorial before Him.
All through the scriptures, we see the statement ' For David's sake', which speaks of David's memorial before God. 1 Kgs. 11:32; 15:4; 2 Kgs. 19:34; Ps. 132:10.
Anything and everything good you are sincerely, honestly and wholeheartedly doing (has done) for God, His Kingdom and People, stands as a memorial before Him for you and your generations.

THINK ON THESE:
1 # David's thought and sacrifice to build the House of God stood as a memorial before God for him and his generations.
2 Sam. 7:1-16.

2 # Hezekiah's wholehearted service and walk with God stood as a memorial before God for him in the day of trouble. Isa. 38:1-5.

3 # Cornelius' prayers and alms giving, stood as a memorial before God for him and his household. Acts 10:1-4.

4 # The action of the woman who anointed our Lord Jesus Christ feet with a very expensive perfume, became a memorial before God for her for all generations.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1* Sometimes, it takes consistency and persistency for your sacrifice to stand as a memorial before God. The individual must constantly be at it for God, His Kingdom and People for such sacrifices to be worthy as a memorial before God.

2* A memorial can last for several generations and in rare cases, for perpetual generations.

3* God will always impress in your spirit-man and heart something that is dear, that can serve and stand as a memorial before Him for you and your generations.

4* A memorial before God can become a covenant platform for accessing some deep spiritual realities in your life and family.

CONCLUSION:
Strive to have a memorial before God, for yourself and your generations.
Therefore, whatever serious sacrifice that God is laying in your heart to do, please, know that if you do it, it will never be lost nor forgotten. It will surely stand as a memorial before God for you and your generations.

TOPIC: BREAKING FORTH IN GLORY.

TEXT: Isa. 54:2-3; 60:1-3; Prov. 4:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Glory becomes our birthright and heritage from the day we accept Jesus Christ as our Personal Lord and Saviour.
From that day, we are made vessels of Glory.

MEMORY VERSE:
" Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear." Matt. 13:43.

INTRODUCTION:
Glory is from the Hebrew word "Kabod" and the Greek word "Doxa" meaning abundance, wealth, treasure and honour. It also means splendor, brightness, Majesty, Excellency, magnificence.
Glory is to blossom, flourish, prosper. It is to enjoy the bliss of heaven.
Embedded in glory is Favour, goodness, joy etc.
God's plan and purpose is for His Children to break forth in glory. Isa. 58:8; 2 Cor. 3:18.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1 # To break forth in glory is to soar above limitations, obstacles, barriers, hindrances and difficulties. It is to live in peace, joy, abundant blessings, authority and honour.

2 # To break forth in glory is to be enlarged, enriched, empowered and blessed beyond measure.

3 # To break forth in glory is to enjoy all that heaven has at it disposal for you. It is to enjoy the fullness of God.

4 # To break forth in glory is to live a life of heaven on earth. A life of dominion, power, influence, wealth etc.

5 # To break forth in glory is to become the envy of the unbelievers. Gen. 26:12-14.

6 # To break forth in glory is the Will of God for us as believers.

7 # It takes obedience to God and His Word to break forth in glory.

CONCLUSION:
Breaking forth in glory require you to seek God first in all things.
It also involves you obeying the biblical principles and instructions that propel your breaking forth in glory.
As you break forth in glory in this season, things of shame, reproach and disgrace will forever be over in your life in Jesus Name.

PRAYERS:
1* Father, thank you for your Word to me today. I bless your Holy Name in Jesus Name.

2* Father, please, help me to break forth in glory in this season in Jesus Name.

3* Father, help me to obey every biblical principles and instructions that will propel my breaking forth in glory in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: THE COMPLETE GOSPEL.

TEXT: Isa 61:1-4; Matt 4:23-24; Acts 10:38.

INTRODUCTION:
The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is a complete package.
The redemptive package of the cross is total and comprehensive.
It is a gospel that deals with the totality of man, that is, man’s Spirit, Soul and Body.
There is no aspect of human existence that the gospel does not touch.
It is God’s desire that you access, experience and enjoy the complete redemptive package of the cross. Jn. 19:30.

MEMORY VERSE:
“If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Jn. 8:36.

INTRODUCTION:
The death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and His resurrection delivered to mankind the complete gospel.
By the complete gospel, we mean the following:

1 # The Gospel of Salvation:
Your sins being forgiven and forgotten. You receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. 1Jn.1:8-9; Rms 10:8-10; 6:23; Jn 3:15-17.

2 # The Gospel of Healing:
You receive healing for your body. Healing from every sicknesses and diseases. 1 Pet. 2:21-24; 3Jn 1:2; Acts 10:38.

3 # The Gospel of Deliverance:
That is, deliverance from every oppression, torment and attack of the devil and his agents. Deliverance is part and parcel of the complete gospel. 1Jn. 3:8; Lk 4:18- 19; Acts 26:17-18. Deliverance from household wickedness. Deliverance from whatsoever is holding you down.

4 # The Gospel of Restoration:
That God will restore to you your destiny.
Restoration of glory, star, honour and dignity. Lk 8:1-3,; Joel 2:25-27; Jer 30:17.

5 # The Gospel of all round blessings;
That is, the gospel of prosperity, fruitfulness, success, breakthroughs etc.
It is the gospel of all round blessings and possibilities. It is the gospel that guarantees your glorious future in Christ Jesus. Rms 8:1; 3 Jn. 1:2; 2 Cor. 8:9.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1* A believer is to access the complete gospel for his or her life. You are to enjoy salvation, healing, deliverance, blessings, restoration, fruitfulness, etc. Therefore refuse to settle for less, when you can have more.

2* Some believers are suffering under the weight of ignorance. Satan has denied them the complete gospel as a result of their ignorance and fear. Gal 4:1; 2 Tim 1:7.

CONCLUSION:
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ gave us all round victory. Victory over sin, sickness and disease, poverty, fruitlessness etc.
Lay hold on the blessing of the complete gospel today and it will become yours.

PRAYERS:

2 # # Father, I ask that the complete gospel be fully made manifested in my life in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: YOU SHOULD BE OF AGE.

TEXT: Jn. 9:18-28; Judg. 12:1-3; Acts 24:10; 26:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
The man born blind that was healed by the Lord Jesus Christ maintained his stand all through the period of his interrogation.
The neighbours said he is not, but he said, I am he. Jn. 9:8-9.
The Pharisees asked him on several occasions about his healing, how it happened and who did it?
The man stood firm in his conviction and defense, that he had been healed and that his healer was a Prophet, regardless of the Pharisees insinuation. Jn. 9:15-17.
The healed man was able to answer for himself because he was of age.
My sincere prayer is that you will become of age to take full delivery of all that is yours in life and destiny in Jesus Name.

MEMORY VERSE:
" And David said to Saul, let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine." 1 Sam. 17:32.

INTRODUCTION:
The statement ' you are of age' connotes and implies the following:
1 # You are to take full responsibility for your actions, behaviours and attitude.

2 # You are to speak for yourself, when and where it matters most.

3 # You are to stand firm in your conviction and to pursue the fulfillment of your vision, goal, purpose and mission.

4 # You are to face the storms of life and to gather the momentum required to defeat it.

5 # You are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life and destiny.

6 # You are to answer for yourself courteously, respectfully and meaningfully.

7 # You are to move out of the circle of childishness, carelessness, foolishness to that of maturity and discipline.

8 # You are to accept the rebuke, reprove and correction of the Lord and people around you for your unguided steps.

9 # You are to grow above the blame games. You are to stop blaming people for the outcome of your life.

10 # You are to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

11 # You are to stop crying but to make a decision to face your front, confront your fears and fight your way through.

CONCLUSION:
You are of age suggests stability, maturity, responsibility, discipline and determination to move your life forward.
You should be of age is a call to grow up, put yourself together and face the journey of life with renewed hope and vigor.
Put your past failures, setbacks and disappointments behind you and embrace your glorious future with enthusiasm and focus.

TOPIC: CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARITE?

TEXT: Jn. 1:45-46; Gen. 21:6-8; 1 Sam. 2:3-5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
It is very easy for people to reach an early conclusion about a person, who God has not finished with, that is still in the factory and work in progress of the Almighty God.
More often than not, God will always prove the people's negative early conclusion wrong and render it null and void.
Nathaniel said to Philip, 'can anything good come out of Nazarite'?, even when he was yet to meet the Messiah.
Today, I decree that all negative human conclusions about your life and destiny will be proven wrong, null and void by the Power of the Most High God in Jesus Name.

MEMORY VERSE:
" To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." Isa. 61:3.

INTRODUCTION:
Our God is a specialist and expert in frustrating and thwarting the negative conclusions of Satan, his agents and people about God's Children.
When they think that all hope is lost for the believer, then, God shows up to prove them wrong, by turning the situation around.
I came to announce to someone reading this devotional today that something good and better is about to take place in your life that will prove others wrong in Jesus Name.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT:
1 # God is about to overturn all the wrong and negative conclusions of the people concerning your life and destiny. Acts. 14:19-20; Gen. 50:20.

2 # God is about to do something remarkable and outstanding in your life to the amazement of everyone around you. Lk. 1:57-58.

3 # God is about to erase every wrong and debased nickname that has been associated with your life. You will no longer be known and called, barren, begger, borrower, etc.

4 # God is about to make you, a wonder and a reference point beyond the widest imagination and explanation of all those around you.

5 # There is a supernatural, divine shift that is coming upon your life sooner than you think.

CONCLUSION:
Today, I break and end the curse, pronouncement, incantation and divination limiting your efforts and results in Jesus Name.
The grace, help and favour of God that turns people into a wonder is released upon you right now in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
I decree that the God of suddenly will touch and visit you today and give you a complete change of story in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: WHO HAVE YOU FOUND?

TEXT: Jn. 1:35-51; Rms. 20:13-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Andrew found Simon Peter and brought him to the Master, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Also, Philip found Nathaniel, told him about the Master, Rabbi, Messiah and brought him to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The question is ' who have you found and brought to the Lord Jesus Christ, since you became a Christian'?
This is a serious question that every believer should provide an honest answer to.
One aspect of barrenness is to lack the fruit of souls that you have brought to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. Jn. 15:1-8; 2 Pet. 1:8.

MEMORY VERSE:
" To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men that I might by all means save some." 1 Cor. 9:22.

INTRODUCTION:
It is surprising and shocking to see many believers who have no single person that they can point to, that they brought to the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is totally unacceptable in the sight of God.
The core, sole, supreme and primary task of every believer is the salvation of souls. Matt. 4:18-20; 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15-20; Acts 1:8.

THINK ON THESE:
1 # The Samaritan woman brought the whole City to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jn. 4:28-30.

2 # The man delivered from a legion of demons brought ten (10) Cities to the Lord Jesus Christ. Mk. 5:18-20.

3 # Apostle Paul found Timothy, Titus and others and brought them to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 16:1-3; Tit. 1:4.

The question remains ' who have you found and introduced to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ'?.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1* In my humble opinion, the saddest thing will be for a believer to stand before God and cannot attest or account for a single soul, he or she brought to the Lord during His or her Christian journey on earth. Matt. 25:30.

2* There is no excuse under heaven that will be tenable or acceptable to God for the failure of a believer not finding and bringing someone to the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rms. 2:1.

3* The onus is on every believer to use all legitimate means, methods and strategies to bring people to the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lk. 14:23.

4* To slack in the business of soul winning as a believer is to commit the sin of commission and commission. Lk. 12:47.

CONCLUSION:
Thank God that it is not too late nor over for you as a believer to do everything possible to find and introduce someone to the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ today.
Wake up from your slumber and you will find the mercy and help of God to do this all important assignment of soul winning.

PRAYERS:
1 # # Father, thank you for your Word to me today. I received it with Thanksgiving in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: KEEP YOURSELF AWAY FROM IDOLS.

TEXT: 1 Jn. 5:21; Acts 7:40-43; Ps. 125:4-8; Lev. 26:1.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God has given the believer a strong instruction and warning and that is to stay clear from idols.
God hates idolatry and all means, methods, strategies, systems, in the disguise of the worship of idols.
You should constantly examine yourself to ensure that you are not worshipping idols instead of the Living God. Rms. 1:21-23.

MEMORY VERSE:
" Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God." Lev. 19:4.

INTRODUCTION:
An idol is anything and everything that takes the place, value, and interest of God in your life.
The rate at which people worship idols knowingly and unknowingly today is very alarming.
It will interest you to know that idols are in different forms in our days.

THINK ON THESE:
1 # We have idols as curved objects, images, shrines, grooves etc. Deut. 29:16-18.

2 # We have idols as the worship of creatures such as the sun, moon, stars, trees, animals, sea etc. Deut. 4:15-19.

3 # We have idols of the heart. Anything and everything that takes your heart away from God. Ezek. 14:3-5,7.

4 # We have religion as an idol. When you engage in religious activities without any personal relationship and encounter with God. No personal experience of the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Tim. 3:5-8.

5 # We have Mammon as an idol. Those who worship money. Those who money is their god. Matt. 6:24; 1 Tim. 6:10.

6 # We have gluttony as an idol. Those whose belly (stomach) is their god. They worship food and can give away anything (including the Living God) for it. Gen. 25:29-34; Phil. 3:19; 1 Cor. 6:13; Rms. 16:18.

7 # We have technological idols. Those who worship technology and use it to replace God in their lives. Those who use technology to fight against God, debase His laws, and denounce His Authority. 1 Tim. 6:20.

8 # We have human worship. Those who worship their fellow men and make them their god. Acts 10:25-27; 14:11-18; Reve. 22:8-9.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1* Idols divert people to worship creatures and creations rather than the Creator. Rms. 1:25.

2* Those who worship idols are like them. They lose their vision, freedom and mission. This is because idols have eyes but cannot see, have legs but cannot walk etc. Ps. 115:4-8; Isa. 2:8; 45:16.

3* Idols are backed by evil, unclean and demonic spirits, hence, those who serve and worship them are in bo***ge, prison and caged.

4* Those who worship idols are eternally doomed except they repent. Eternal destruction awaits them. Deut. 8:19; Jer. 13:10.

5* Sorrow, anguish and calamity awaits those who run after idols. Ps. 16:4.

6* True and genuine repentance must involve the putting away of anything and everything idolatrous in a person's life. Acts 19:18-19.

CONCLUSION:
Idolatry is evil and sin in the sight of God.
Let no one deceive you. Please, flee from idolatry and refuse the worship of idols in any disguise.
Repent of every idolatrous practices and involvement.
Discard anything and everything that represents idolatry in and around you.
Those with shrines, images, grooves and others should please seek the assistance of a genuine Servant of God who will help them destroy those things.

PRAYERS:
1 # # Father, thank you for the revelation of your Word to me today. Be Exalted Lord in Jesus Name.

2 # # Father, please, deliver me from idolatry in Jesus Name.

3 # # Father, please, empower me to take away anything and everything idolatrous in and around me in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

TEXT: 2 Thess. 2:7-12; Rms. 1:18-32; 2 Pet. 2:12-15.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
There are some people who have pleasure in sin, unrighteousness and iniquity.
They value and cherish their sinful lifestyle such that they take God's warnings with a pinch of salt.
They delight in unrighteousness and find solace in wickedness.
A true believer is urged never to have pleasure in unrighteousness.
It will interest you to know that a true believer will always have godly remorse that leads to repentance whenever he or she sins.

MEMORY VERSE:
" They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof." Prov. 1: 30.

INTRODUCTION:
To have pleasure in unrighteousness implies the following:
1 # It is to lack any iota of remorse for living in sin, unrighteousness and iniquity.

2 # It is to drink sin, unrighteousness like as water. It is to have the habit of playing with sin and to be easily, cheaply and simply lured to evil, wickedness, unrighteousness and iniquity.

3 # It is to delightfully call evil, good and good, evil.

4 # It is to support, cherish and celebrate evil, wicked and sinful people.

5 # It is to have bundles of excuses why you cannot leave and stop your sinful habits and lifestyle.

6 # It is to be no longer ashamed of your unrighteous deeds. Indeed, it is to develop a bold face in committing unrighteous acts.

7 # It is trying to convince yourself and others that your unrighteous acts, actions, and deeds are not as serious as they think.

8 # It is to bluntly refuse to yield to all warnings of God and Man.

9 # It is to develop a system of always and constantly defending yourself about your unrighteous lifestyle.

10 # It is to refuse to accept the truth of the Word of God concerning what it says about sin, unrighteousness and iniquity.

CONSEQUENCES OF HAVING PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS:
1* It leads to a reprobate mind and heart towards God and holy things.

2* It brings about sudden calamity, destruction and death.

3* It makes the individual to become an instrument and agent of darkness on earth.

4* A congregation that has several of her members having pleasure in unrighteousness becomes polluted, defiled and corrupted.

5* It deadens the conscience of the individual.

CONCLUSION:
You need to ask God for mercy and forgiveness if you find yourself having pleasure in unrighteousness.
You need to renounce and denounce the prince of the power of the air, the spirit of disobedience out of your life when you find yourself in this web of unrighteousness.
You may need to also seek for a genuine Servant of God to pray and counsel you.
Those who have pleasure in unrighteousness will certainly be destroyed and without remedy except they repent.
Please, make and choose the wise part today and it will be well with you.

PRAYERS:
1 # # Father, thank you very much for your Word to me today. I am most grateful, Lord, in Jesus Name.

2 # # Father, I renounce and denounce the spirit and desire for unrighteousness out of my life in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: DO NOT DRAW BACK

TEXT: Heb 10:35-39; Exo. 14:14; Lk 9:62.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Backwardness is never the Will of God for any of His Children.
No matter the challenges, problems, difficulties and ugly situations confronting you, you should make up your mind never to draw back or look back.
Going forward is far better and most rewarding than thinking or making attempt to draw back.

MEMORY VERSE:
" But his wife looked back from behind him and she became a pillar of salt.” Gen. 19:26.

INTRODUCTION:
The believer is urged, encouraged and admonished not to draw back or go back. This is because our God is ever progressive and forward looking.
As far as God is concerned, drawing back should never be an option for His Children.
Indeed, God said that he will never be with those who draw back. Heb 10:38; Lk 9:62
No excuses or circumstances is tenable/ acceptable for the believer drawing back.
Remember lots wife (Lk 17:32), she looked back and became a pillar of salt
Demas drew back after identifying with the missionary work of Apostle Paul. ( 2 Tim 4:10).
God is never pleased when people draw back or look back.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1 # Drawing back is retrogressive, frustrating and depressing. It usually lead to wasted efforts and resources. It leads to the lost of things.

2 # Drawing back is usually a loser’s option and it is a step taken by mediocre.

3 # Those who draw back, go back to their vomits. They usually eat their own words.

4 # God is never with those who draw back. God is never pleased with those who draw back.

5 # Moving forward, matching forward may not be convenient and easy but it is a step taken be those with a resolute and determined mind and heart

6 # Kingdom minded people keep going forward until they achieve their goal and aim. They put on the lion - like and eagle - like spirit. Prov 30:30; Isa 40:31; ps 103:5. They keep their faith to the end. 2 Tim 4:7-8

CONCLUSION:
My counsel to you today is that no matter what, do not draw back
Do not draw back from the faith. Do not draw back from your goal and your God given purpose in life. Do not draw back in doing the Will of God. Do not draw back in good works.

PRAYERS:
1* Father, thank you for your word to me today. I am grateful Lord in Jesus name.

2* Father, please, grant me the grace never to draw back in Jesus Name.

3* Father, please, take out of my life the spirit of mediocrity and faint heartedness in Jesus Name.

4* Father, let the lion-like and eagle-like spirit be evident in my life in Jesus Name.
