*Topic: The Language of Honor*
*Text: 1 Timothy 5:17
“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour…”
Honor is one of the greatest currencies in the Kingdom.
Every great relationship survives on honor. Once honor disappears, value disappears. People never protect what they no longer respect.
Honor is not merely what you say, it is how you behave. It is visible in your attitude, your response, your loyalty, your giving, and your willingness to value people God has placed in your life.
Dishonor is expensive. Many people lose access, opportunities, relationships, and spiritual covering, not because doors were closed against them, but because familiarity killed their sense of value.
Never become casual with people carrying what you are praying for.
Honor listens carefully.
Honor speaks respectfully.
Honor protects.
Honor appreciates.
Honor gives.
A wise man once said, “Whatever you fail to honor will eventually move away from you.”
Another powerful truth is this:
“You cannot receive greatly from people you secretly disrespect.”
The flow of virtue follows the pathway of honor.
Today, learn the language of honor. Appreciate openly. Speak respectfully. Never allow pride or familiarity to make you common with the people God is using to bless your life.
Because where honor is present, grace flows freely.
*Prayer*
Father, teach me the language of honor. Help me to recognize, value, and appreciate the people You have placed in my life. Remove every spirit of pride and familiarity from my heart, and let me walk in wisdom and humility always. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
