Be afraid of the person who masters one skill repeatedly more than the person who dabbles in many skills without depth, because mastery built in the hidden places is what gives a person weight when God brings them into the spotlight.

God rarely drops someone into a major assignment without first taking them through a season where discipline, patience, and skill are formed away from applause, and this is why the person who has quietly repeated one thing until it becomes second nature often carries more authority than someone with a long list of half-finished skills.

Most of us don’t face lions’ dens or fiery furnaces on a Tuesday morning, but we do face similar everyday versions of the same test.

God is still looking for men and women who will say, like Joshua, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” and mean it.

Every society operates with a system, whether it is business, education, politics, entertainment, or social life, because each of these industries has its own rules, expectations, and unwritten codes that people must follow to succeed or be accepted.

The scriptures has shown us that godliness will always look like rebellion to a rotten system, and the System’s favorite tactic is to make us feel like an outcast until we cave.

But as Christians, when we choose to refuse the world's System, we realize we’re not losing everything to the System, we’re refusing to sell our souls to a system that was never designed to bless us anyway or take us to our destination.

Fast forward to today, and we've somehow reduced the Church, the gathering of Christians to Sunday services and occasional spiritual/religious routines only.
