*SUMMARY OF THE 15TH ANNUAL GATHERING OF GENERALS CAMP MEETING OF UYIOSA BAPTIST ASSOCIATION YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (UBAYF)* held at First Baptist Church, Abudu, Edo State, from 23rd – 26th October 2025, with the theme “Fulfilling God's Purpose.”(Philippines 2:1-13) The camp song was Total Submission by Ebuka Songs and the camp hymn was "When you walk with the Lord". The event was characterized by inspiring worship, Networking among youths, leadership renewal, fun and spiritual growth.

*HIGHLIGHTS*
Registration was recorded from the 11 churches in the Association.
Breakdown as follows:
First B/C, Abudu – 29 campers
Goodnews Baptist Church Uselu – 26 campers
New Benin Baptist Church– 23 campers
Shalom Baptist Church, obgeson – 20 campers
Faith Baptist Church Abudu - 16 campers
Peniel Baptist Church– 9 campers
Emmanuel Baptist Uhronigbe - 8 campers
Christ Baptist Church– 7 campers
Open Door Baptist Church Iru – 5 campers
Living Faith Baptist Church Iguomo – 2 campers
Messiah Baptist Church Uhronigbe – 1 camper
Visitors - 3 delegates

Football Competition: 2 teams competed in both Male and Female category.

2nd Position - Living Faith Baptist Church

4th Position - New Benin Baptist Church

*AWARDS*
- Bro. Isaiah Igbinosa (UBAYF PRO) won the most Active Executive for the year
- GoodNews Baptist Church Youth Fellowship won fellowship with the highest registered delegates in the camp
- Special Awards was presented to deserve individuals
- Certificate of stewardship was presented to outgone Executives

*FAQS (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS) ABOUT THE GAMES*

1. Are we paying to participate in this tournament?
- No! The tournament is part of the activities outlined for the camp meeting and has been factored into the entire plan for the camp meeting.

2. The matches are for boys only, abi?
* No! The female match will hold first and the male match afterwards.

3. Who are those eligible to play?
* Churches in the association have been divided into two groups, *recognised members* from both sides will be allowed to play (coordinators of the areas will assemble their teams)

4. What do I need to come with if I'm participating?
* Your football dress (top & short), a convenient footwear to protect your feet, socks, shin pads (to protect your shin)

5. What do I stand to gain from participating in the games?
* Worthwhile memories, long lasting connections, a wonderful way to exercise your body, lastly, m🎖️dals will be presented to all those that participated in the tournament.

*UNVEILING THE ABUDU-AREA MEN'S FOOTBALL TEAM*

Fondly called the home based team or the people of culture due to their closeness to their roots, from First BC to Faith BC both of Abudu, to the brothers of Urhonigbe - Emmanuel and Messiah, and the far-apart, but united in purpose CBC of Evbuobanosa, PBC of Ote-Oheze and OBC of Iru; we have the formidable *VALOUR FC.*

Without a single player of his squad yet to be listed, words are flying about the preparedness of the home side, but the coordinator of the team has stated that football is played on the field and not listed on a sheet; in his words *"regardless of the hearsay flying around, just as seen on our emblem, our anchor holds, no retreat, no surrender"*

In a brief interview with the media team, the coordinator waved off the comments stemming from the release of his opponents squad list yesterday citing that they're at home, a sanctuary and they have all it takes to make *the Invincibles go invisible* when they're done with them. According to the coordinator, Engr. Uyi Igbinosa, *"to us, pressure is children's bread"*

Will the home advantage count or the home side will eventually have to walk home alone?

From NBBC in New Benin to SBC in Ogbeson through GBC, Uselu; young men passionate about the round leather have come together to make a statement.

4 churches vs 7 others, but no problem at all. With a formidable line up of the clean sheet-loving David between the sticks to a solid back line of El Kojie (man mountain), Sunday (minister of defence), Kevin (Emperor Puyol) and Samuel (clearance officer) to the airtight midfield of Pere Fernandes (Pere Wotu), Lord Gallagher (Osasu Agbons) and Favour & a venomous front line of the highly versatile Desmond, Uyi Gold and Stephen amongst other stars waiting to step on the turf, the Invincibles have come to bring it home - all or nothing!!!

Will the team be worth the hype or it'll be another case of big money, no result?
