The Glorious Life Devotional for Tuesday 26th of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: The goldmine called Diligence - Pt 5

Genesis 47:6 - "...and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle"

Why is it that a venture is dying in one man's hands and then you commit same venture to another man and boom, everything starts flourishing. The difference is in the men. Some countries without natural resources are doing well, while some others with enough resources are suffering, the difference is in the men.

What kind of person are you? Some people are full of ideas and claim to know what to do, but have no results to prove what they know. Ideas don't produce results on their own, you have to WORK THEM OUT. Making your ideas work is a difficult process, but the results are very satisfying.

Our text talks about "...men of activity...". Who are these men? They are men who put their ideas to work and if they don't get the desired results, they put on their thinking cap and try from another angle and they keep on repeating this process until they get their desired results.

Four things you must note about men of activity:
1. They don't accept or give excuses for failure. It must work. It is success or nothing else.
2. They are restless until they succeed. Being comfortable in failure shows you have no future.
3. They keep learning new things and new ways. The world is constantly evolving, if you sit down, you will be left behind.
4. They keep trying and working until they hit their target.

My advice to you today, stop the complaining and blame game. Be a man of activity.

Our Confession:
I am a man of activity, I will always be on top. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Jesus for this blessed day
2. I bow before my king in worship
3. My life is on the ascendancy, I produce results
4. The curses of life have no power over me. My light is shinning
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed

The Glorious Life Devotional for Sunday 24th of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: The goldmine called Diligence - Pt 4

Proverbs 13:4 - The lazy person craves, yet receives nothing, but the desires of the diligent are satisfied (ISV).

Do you want your desires to be satisfied? Work smart and hard and make sure favour is on your side. Yes, there are things you do and you will enjoy favour with God and man and there are things you do that will make you lose favour. Work hard and smart under the canopy of God's favour and your desires will be satisfied. Your desires may not necessarily be about self agrandissement, it may be about blessing others lavishly.

There's a scripture that caught my attention recently, Pharoah said to Joseph "...and if thou knowest any MEN OF ACTIVITY among them, then make them RULERS over my cattle" (Genesis 47:6b). Some people already found favour before Pharoah without knowing it. Pharoah is telling Joseph "locate the diligent cattle rearers among you and set them over the national cattle business". The diligent man will always end up on top.

Are you a man of activity? If they put something in your hands now, will it thrive? If there's anything you should fight against this year, fight against the spirit of procrastination and slack hands. The bible is very clear, the diligent man will always be on top. It is not you that will say that you are diligent, it is your results that will announce your diligence.

"Life is too hard" someone may say, but you can decide to become harder than life, then life will have no option but to answer in your favour. Our lord Jesus has already helped you on the cross. It's time to put on your thinking cap, strengthen your arms to work and make life answer in your favour.

Our Confession:
I am a man of activity, I will always be on top. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Jesus for this beautiful Sunday
2. Precious Jesus, I adore you with my life
3. I enjoy favour before God and men
4. The light of Christ is Shinning in our land
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed

The Glorious Life Devotional for Saturday 23rd of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: The goldmine called Diligence - Pt 3

Proverbs 22:29 - Seest thou a man diligent IN HIS BUSINESS? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

Diligent men are highly focused, they MIND their business. Every man should have a business that they are minding, not busybodies that are focused on other people's businesses. Proverbs 14:23b tells us that "...the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury". Too much talking and gossiping and less focus leads to poverty.

The man that is diligent in his business is giving that business the needed attention. You cannot get the best of anything that you don't give attention to. If this is what you want to spend your life doing, it deserves your full attention. Let me outline 3 areas of life that need focus:

1. God and his work: Our Lord Jesus called it "...my Father's business" (Luke 2:49b). God's work deserves our undivided attention.
2. Marriage and family life: Raising a family is real business, it deserves our full attention.
3. Your career or vocation: Building an illustrious career is real business. Managing a vocation profitably is real business.

When you succeed in these three areas, you're really successful. All other areas are secondary. Some people are giving a lot of attention to secondary matters. Be diligent in what is primary. Structure your life in such a way that you're giving attention to the most important things.

My prayer for you this year is that you will reap the full harvest of your efforts. You shall not labour in vain. Receive grace to be highly focused and intentional in all you do in.

Our Confession:
I am not a busybody, I am highly focused and intentional in life. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Jesus for this blessed Saturday
2. My Father and my God, I adore you
3. Kings are coming to the brightness of my rising
4. We declare that revival has come to our land
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed

The Glorious Life Devotional for Friday 22nd of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: The goldmine called Diligence - Pt 2

Proverbs 21:5 - The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

Diligence begins with your thought processes and mindset. The diligent man sees life differently. He sees opportunities where others see problems. The whole world was formless and covered in darkness and what God saw and called forth was light (Genesis 1:1-3). He was seeing light in the midst of darkness.

What are your thoughts like? The thoughts of the diligent man only moves in the direction of increase. His thoughts sees, plans and organizes how to produce increase. Stop wasting your time complaining and draining yourself emotionally by dwelling on the current social, political and economic challenges we're facing. One thing is sure, the world will always have its problems. There was famine in the days of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, but it did not stop God's plans for their lives.

Deliberately adjust your thoughts, let them tend towards increase. See opportunities everywhere. Sit down with your plans and run with them. Don't be deceived by the noise on social media and don't follow visionless friends. Set your gaze on where you're going and trust in God for the supply of grace. You will surely get there.

There are people who see hard work as suffering, they are eager to get rich by cutting corners. They will eventually end up in poverty. Don't dodge the process, go through the difficulties and pay the needed price. Your harvest season will wipe away all your tears. Psalms 126:5-6 says "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him"

Our Confession:
I see abundance everywhere. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Jesus for another weekend
2. We worship you the great I AM THAT I AM
3. Our light is shinning brighter and brighter
4. We enjoy the full benefits of redemption
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed

The Glorious Life Devotional for Thursday 21st of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: The goldmine called Diligence

Proverbs 10:4 - He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

How is your hand, diligent or slack? Diligence is a goldmine and a treasure trove. What is Diligence? I define it as putting your best foot forward all the time.

You cannot achieve anything worth while in life if you're always sitting in the complainers bench. It means that you're a spectator and spectators don't win any prize. You've got to be out there in the field of play, making and learning from your mistakes, but you keep reaching out for your goals.

You start the journey of Diligence by faith, no money, no helpers, just you and your God. Most people won't believe in you and your enterprise initially, especially when they cannot see physical results. You have to believe in God first and believe in yourself also. Believe that with God all things are possible and exercise dogged faith.

You have to know and own your craft. You can fail if you don't do your background work. You must first know and own your craft. You must not be a fake or a novice. Those who have tasted your gift or craft, should be saying "woooow, this is soooooo goooood!". You cannot expect to succeed in something that is not meeting expectations.

You must role up your sleeves and give it your all every day. Diligence is waking up and going again and again, even when you don't feel like it. You hope against hope and press on in faith. Your hands must not be slack.

You must have the oil of favour on your head, don't joke with your covenant walk with God. It's only a matter of little time, you will become a reference point of a man that God has blessed. Your hands will make rich in Jesus name.

Our Confession:
My hands are diligent hands, I am making riches. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Father for the gift of life
2. We declare that you are holy precious Father
3. We enjoy the riches of your grace today
4. We shine the light of Christ everywhere today
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed

The Glorious Life Devotional for Wednesday 20th of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: Have personal dealings with God - Pt 2

Daniel 11:32b - "...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits"

The deeper you go with God, the more covenant conscious you become. Your walk with God will bring you to the place of agreements and commitments. God sets you aside for himself by giving you personal guidelines. There are things that I cannot do, not because they are sinful, it is a personal agreement between me and God.

This personal covenant with God is prompted by the Spirit of God. The prophets of old, each had personal dealings with God and received personal instructions. Samson's hair was not to be shaved and he was not to take alcohol. Have you walked with God to the extent that the Holy Spirit will impress certain personal instructions on you?

For example, no matter how many people lambast and lampoon tithing, for me, it is a very personal thing. It is one of my very strong covenant pillars. When I give my tithe in honor to God, the rest of my money becomes more than enough for what I need. I don't taste alcohol, it is a very personal covenant, others may do it, but I won't. It has been impressed on my by the Holy Spirit during our times of spiritual intimacy.

These secret and personal dealings with God is what will distinguish you in perilous times. You will be able to remind God of his covenants with you and the assigned angels will move quickly in your favor.

My dear, you cannot afford to be a Christian just by mouth. You must have personal spiritual dealings with God that will speak for you in times of need.

Our Confession:
I enjoy deep personal intimacy with my heavenly Father. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Holy Spirit for today
2. We worship and bow down before you
3. We declare that the Egyptians we see today, we shall see no more forever
4. We declare that the land opens up in our favour
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed

The Glorious Life Devotional for Monday 18th of May 2026 by Pastor Tony Tobore

Topic: Have personal dealings with God

Daniel 11:32b - "...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits"

We are in the end times and the way things are going, a Christian that does not have a personal walk with God, will become an easy prey to Satan. As it is now in this world, nothing is certain. We are experiencing a tsunami of social, political and economic upheaval.

The bible prophesied about these uncertain times and warns us to be watchful and ready. Everything else may change, but one thing remains constant, our God and his word will never change. Heb 13:8 says "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever". That's why we can trust him.

You need stability in these uncertain times and it will come from a personal walk with Jesus Christ. I am not talking about calling him Lord with your mouth, I am talking about a covenant walk with him. Having a secret place with your heavenly Father, a place of intimacy and covenant. It is in this secret place, that you will truly know God and be known of him. Matthew 6:6 tells us that our Father "...seeth in secret...". This secret place dealings with God will give birth to a strong covenant walk with him.

Job said "I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?" (Job Chapter 31:1). This was a product of job's personal dealings with God. It means there were things Job's eyes were not permitted to see. Abraham also lifted his hands to God that he will not take anything from the king of Soddom, even though it was his right, because of covenant (Genesis 14:21-23).

In these end times, refuse to be a shallow Christian, go into the deep waters with God, he is the one that will be there for you when everything and everyone else fails.

Our Confession:
I refuse to swim in the shallows, I dive into the deep waters with my God. Hallelujah.

Prayer Declarations:
1. Thank you Jesus for this blessed day
2. We give you all the glory due your name
3. I declare that riches and honor are mine
4. My life is consecrated to Jesus, I am sold out to his course on earth
5. Thank you Father because my day is blessed
