HIGHLIGHT OF OUR LAST WEEK SUNDAY SERVICE
WHY JESUS CAME...
Wow, it was a very special moment we had on the 24th of May - last Sunday as our Pastor, Pst. Uche enlightened us about knowing who we are in Christ and living in the consciousness of that. He told us about our authority as believers; which we are supposed to be using to handle any situation in our lives knowing that it is not about us but about God's authority that He has given us - Luke 10:19.
He used the illustration of a newly recruited policeman who stands at the middle of the road and raises his hand to stop a 12,000 litres lorry fully loaded with fuel. The lorry driver applies his brake and stops right in front of him not because of him but because the policeman is representing the Federal government of the country. That is how we can arrest situations with the authority we have as Sons of God, he said.
He likewise told us that the devil or his cohorts cannot hurt us in anyway because we are living sacrifices unto God and God in His fullness lives in us. He put it this way: "Every believer is a diety (Eph. 2:9) and because of that we cannot bow in fear to any other ditties (shrines or any kind of occultism)
We cannot be hurt by any cult, shrine or any form of divination because every other powers are nothing to what we have in Christ - Eph. 2:6
He ended with prophetic utterances over the whole congregation. It was really a special and powerful moment in God's presence.
