*Think on these things...*
*THE MAINSPRINGS OF ANARCHY*
Anarchy means a state of disorder, lawlessness or absence of government.
Nigeria - Frederick Lugar's experiment of 1914 is gradually tipping towards anarchy. In this brief piece, I want to sound an alarm on the mainsprings of anarchy on the basis of *2Chron.15:3-6* - *"Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found of them. And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. And nation was destroyed of nation, and, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity."*
Anywhere you see agitations, chaos, violence, war or destruction, there are three major causes:
1. *The true God has been abandoned.*
God warned us in *Exo.20:3,* *"Thou shalt have no OTHER GODS before me."* Whenever a people turn their backs on the true God, anarchy is imminent. When Israel walked out on Him, they walked straight into multiplied sorrows. In *Ps.16:4* the Bible says *"Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god..."*
2. *The teaching priest has been abandoned.*
One of the missing ingredients in the pursuit of God today is His teachings. Peace is a product of God's teachings. The Bible says *"And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children" - Isa.54:13.*
In *Mt.11:29* Jesus said, *"Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN OF ME (let me teach you); for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."*
What obtains in many religious spaces today is nothing but seducing spirits on rampage, trading doctrines of devils. Seducing spirits take over when people depart from the faith. The Bible says in *1Tim.4:1-2, "Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron."*
Unnecessary emphasis on demons and Satan does more harm than good.
3. *The law of God is abandoned.*
The law of God is the only perfect law available to mankind. In *Ps.19:7* the Bible says *"The law of God is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."*
When nations operate by the imperfect and fraudulent laws made by their parliaments, there can never be peace.
*To be ignorant of God's laws is to live under a curse.* In *Jn.7:49* the Bible says, *"But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed."*
*What is the answer to insecurity and anarchy?*
*JESUS CHRIST* is the answer to insecurity and anarchy.
*WHY?*
1. *HE IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD.*
Until people turn to Him, and abandon their dead gods, there can be no peace; and the struggle continues. In *Jn.17:3* the Bible says, *"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and JESUS CHRIST, whom Thou hast sent."*
2. *HE IS THE TEACHING PRIEST.*
In *Ps.32:8* the Bible says, *"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."*
Again in *Mt.7:24-27* Jesus said, *"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."*
Jesus has something to say concerning every issue of life. If nations must enjoy the peace that passeth all human understanding, they must listen to Him.
3. *HE IS THE LAWGIVER.*
The Bible says *"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our King; He will save us" - Isa.33:22.*
Again in *James 4:12* the Bible says, *"There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy..."*
Only Jesus can save us from insecurity and anarchy. He does that through His laws. It is spiritual smartness to turn to Him and receive the law from His mouth. In *Job 22:22* the Bible says, *"Receive I pray thee, the law from His Mouth, and lay up His Words in thine heart."*
The Bible is not a story book, but *the Book of the Law.* It is not a religious document, but a legal document *(Joshua 1:8).* A person becomes lawless when He abandons the Bible.
*CONCLUSION*
There is no peace-talk without Jesus that can calm the storms of agitation, violence, war and destruction in any space. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. In *Eph.2:14* the Bible says *"For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us."* In *Jn.14:27* Jesus said, *"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."*
Whenever Jesus steps in , Satan steps out. When He steps in, He steps in as the *True God, The Teaching Priest and the Lawgiver.*
When Jesus speaks, everything listens. When He speaks, He speaks peace unto His people. Turning to Him makes everything turn.
