SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE

Date: Sunday, 23rd August, 2026
Theme: August – Month of Grace & Glory
Season: Wonders Without Number
Topic: Preparation for "The New Wine"
Text: Galatians 6:7

MESSAGE SUMMARY

Everything we do or say is a seed. The principle of the Kingdom is simple: what we sow is what we reap.

As believers, we must be conscious of the seeds we are sowing, both spiritually and physically. Our actions, words, decisions, and attitudes all have consequences.

WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWS, THAT SHALL HE REAP

Galatians 6:6–7

"Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."

God cannot be mocked. Every seed produces a harvest. Therefore, we must be careful about what we sow into our lives, our relationships, our families, and our spiritual lives.

We should also be careful not to involve ourselves in spiritual matters we do not understand. We should avoid judging others and allow God, who knows the heart of every person, to be the ultimate Judge.

SOWING TO THE FLESH OR SOWING TO THE SPIRIT

Galatians 6:8

"For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."

Our new level begins with the preparation of our hearts. God is looking for people with pure hearts whom He can use for His purpose.

Our hearts must continually hunger and thirst after God, His righteousness, and everything that concerns Him.

A HEART THAT THIRSTS FOR GOD

Psalm 63:1

"O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water."

We must develop a genuine hunger for God's presence.

David understood the importance of God's presence. In Psalm 51, he cried out to God not to cast him away from His presence and not to take His Holy Spirit from him.

SEEKING GOD'S POWER AND GLORY

Psalm 63:2

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory."

There is a place of seeking God where we encounter His power, presence, glory, and revelation.

The Holy Spirit may manifest God's presence in different ways, including through fire, water, power, and glory.

Psalm 63:3

"Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You."

As believers, we must learn to value God's presence above everything else.

THE POWER OF MEDITATION

Meditation in God's Word creates an atmosphere for revelation, spiritual growth, and transformation.

When we meditate on God's Word and remain in God's presence, our understanding is opened, our faith is strengthened, and we become positioned to see God turn situations around.

KEY LESSONS

- Everything we do or say is a seed.
- What we sow is what we will eventually reap.
- We must be intentional about the spiritual seeds we sow.
- Our new level begins with the preparation of our hearts.
- We must hunger and thirst for God's presence and righteousness.
- We should avoid judging others and leave judgment to God.
- Meditation on God's Word brings revelation, spiritual growth, and transformation.
- We must continually seek the Holy Spirit and desire a fresh encounter with God.

DECLARATION

As we drink the New Wine, we will never thirst again.

May our hearts be prepared for the outpouring of God's Spirit, grace, glory, power, and presence.

To God alone be all the glory!

SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE

Speaker: Pst. Uche Samuel
Theme: August – Month of Grace & Glory
Topic: The New Wine – Preparation for the New Wine
Texts: John 7:37; John 4:7; Acts 2:13

MESSAGE SUMMARY

Our success in life and in every aspect of our lives begins with our fellowship and relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus understood that there would be a thirst in the hearts of men. He therefore called everyone who is spiritually thirsty to come to Him and drink.

John 7:37

"If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink."

This invitation is still relevant today. God desires to fill every hungry and thirsty heart with His Spirit and His presence.

THE THIRST FOR GOD

In John 4:7, a woman of Samaria came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink."

Beyond physical water, Jesus was revealing the importance of spiritual thirst and the deeper satisfaction that can only come from God.

THE NEW WINE

In Acts 2:13, some people mocked the disciples and said they were full of new wine. What they were witnessing, however, was the manifestation of the Holy Spirit upon the believers.

When the Holy Spirit takes over a person's life, there must be a transformation. You cannot genuinely encounter the Holy Spirit and remain the same.

When the "new wine" of the Holy Spirit begins to flow in your life, things begin to change and divine possibilities begin to manifest.

WHEN THE SPIRIT IS POURED OUT

Isaiah 32:15

"Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest."

The men of old had limitations, but when the Holy Spirit came upon them, they were empowered to accomplish extraordinary things.

The disciples were ordinary men, yet through the power of the Holy Spirit, they became instruments through whom the Gospel spread and cities were impacted.

KEY LESSONS

- Our success begins with our fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
- Spiritual thirst creates room for a deeper encounter with God.
- The Holy Spirit brings transformation into the life of a believer.
- When the Spirit is poured out, barren places can become fruitful.
- We need a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit continually.
- God wants to prepare our hearts for the "new wine" He is bringing into our lives.

DECLARATION

Holy Spirit, let there be an outpouring of Your glory, Your presence, Your fire, and Your Spirit upon my life.

PRAYER

Lord, fill my heart afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Create in me a deeper hunger and thirst for You. Prepare my heart to receive the new wine You have prepared for me, and let Your Spirit bring transformation, fruitfulness, and glory into every area of my life.

TESTIMONIES OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

Sunday, 16th August, 2026

Bible Reading: John 3
Testimony Text: Psalm 102:1–2

We return all the glory to God Almighty for His goodness, mercy, protection, provision, preservation, and divine intervention in the lives of His children.

Sis. Uche Nwachukwu

She thanked God for the transformation He has brought into her life and family since she joined the church and began hearing the Word of God.

She testified about an incident that happened in July. After refilling her gas cylinder, she did not realize that the connection had not been properly tightened. While she was boiling water to prepare pap for her children, the gas cylinder suddenly caught fire. But to God be the glory, through the quick intervention of her neighbour's child, the fire was put out and a major disaster was averted.

Secondly, she thanked God as her twin children will be celebrating their 9th birthday on Tuesday.

She also thanked God for helping her begin her building project. For several years, she had been purchasing building materials little by little, but this year, through funds from her office cooperative, she was able to start the project. She testified that the building is now almost completed.

Sis. Uche

She thanked God for restoring the life of her CEO, who was kidnapped and held for 10 days. After a ransom of ₦10 million was paid, he was released and returned home safely to his family, despite his existing health challenges. She returned all the glory to God for his safe return.

Bro. Ernest

He thanked God for his life and family and for adding another year to his life. He testified that he is now 39 years old.

Sis. Ukamaka

She thanked God for His protection and for granting her a safe journey from Awka to Enugu to visit her family and for bringing her safely back.

She also thanked God for His divine provision each month and testified that God is doing wonderful things in her husband's life during this season.

Sis. Chinyere Victoria

She thanked God for His faithfulness over her life and family and for the divine protection of her son as he travels to and from school.

She also thanked God for answering her prayers concerning her husband. She further thanked God for His blessings and for the massive gifts she received as she celebrated her birthday yesterday.

Mummy Destiny

She thanked God for His faithfulness over her life and family and for safely guiding her daughter throughout her journey.

She also thanked God for delivering her son from police brutality.

Mummy Sonia

She thanked God for His faithfulness over her life, family, and business, and for fighting her battles, especially concerning her business.

She testified that for a long time, rats had been destroying and eating her goods in her storage area. Despite trying different pesticides, the problem continued.

She decided to take the matter to God in prayer. She went to her shop with anointing oil and smoked fish, used the fish to set a trap for the rat, and prayed over the storehouse with the anointing oil. She committed the situation into God's hands and asked Him to take over the battle.

She testified that the rat was eventually found dead, bringing an end to the problem.

To God alone be all the glory for these wonderful testimonies!

May the Lord who has done these great things continue to perfect His works in the lives of His children and give us all reasons to testify, in Jesus' name. Amen.
