The Importance of Daily Personal Devotion (Matthew 14:23; Mark 1:35; Psalm 42:8)
Communal fellowship is good, but personal devotion, that is, times spent alone with God, is important.
God created in us the ability to have fellowship with Him.

Some benefits of Daily Personal Devotion
1. It is the seabed of answers (Psalm 16:7; John 10:27).
2. It keeps away fears (Psalm 34:4).
3. It helps corporate worship (Joshua 7:12-13).
4. It is the only path to growth (1 Peter 2:2).
5. It is the key to overcoming temptation (Psalm 119:11; Matthew 26:41).

Have you been doubtful, fearful, or discouraged? The cares of this life bring disillusionment and unrest. The solution is not a “therapy session”, it is daily personal devotion. May the Lord give you peace!

Who is a Christian? (John 1:1-14)
A Christian is not just someone who believes in God; he is someone who believes in His son, Jesus Christ. Many religions claim to believe in God, but deny the divinity of Jesus. This is no small negligence; it is profound enough to make these people inherit everlasting punishment. However, a Christian has a different fate; he receives everlasting life now and ever. This is because he believes the following:
1. Jesus is the Son of God. He is equal with God
2. He came to the world as a man birthed by Mary, who was blessed with a seed by the Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus was crucified and buried.
4. He was raised on the third day.
5. His death and resurrection provides forgiveness for us.
6. He ascended to heaven and is interceding for us.
7. He is coming back again.
Are you a Christian? If you are not, do not postpone your salvation. You may not have another chance! Tell Jesus now that you believe in Him and ask Him to come into your heart to be your Lord. He is waiting for you.

Grace.

The Commandment of Enlargement
Luke 14:16-23

The above text suggests
1. The supper was great; the kind where food is in abundance
2. Many people were invited
3. The invited guests didn't think much of the supper
4. Excuses disqualified the guests from this rare supper
5. The master was angry
6. He didn't relent. He said, "invite anybody you see to the supper (kingdom)!"
6. In some cases, we *bring* in people, in more cases, we *compel* them, persuading them as one saving his neighbour from a fire accident

It is being short-sighted to value God's kingdom based on physical things (land, cars, wife, job, etc). Don't excuse your passive reception of God's invitation to life.

If you're not born-again, do not wait till tomorrow to come to Jesus. You may not have another chance.

Much grace🙏
