There’s a sound of expectation in the air… 🔥
Something is stirring, and we can’t wait to gather!

Life comes with changing seasons, unexpected turns, and new demands, but through it all, God remains constant. His faithfulness never runs dry. His grace never runs out. His presence never fails us. 🕊️

This November, we’re stepping away from the noise and the ordinary to seek His face, encounter His presence, and gather around His Word. It will be days of worship, prayer, fellowship, deep moments in the Word, and encounters that leave us refreshed, strengthened, and stirred again.

We’re not just counting down to another meeting. We’re preparing for an encounter. 🔥

So, mark the date. Tell someone. Start making plans. Prepare your heart. Come hungry. Come expectant. Come ready!

Because when we gather, we believe God will meet us. ❤️‍🔥

We came, we lifted our voices, and we gave God a sound that came from the heart. 🙌🏽❤️‍🔥

It wasn’t just a Praise Jam.

10 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND PRAISE JAM THIS SATURDAY!

1. To give God your praise
(Psalm 100:4 — Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.)

2. To experience God’s mighty presence
(Psalm 22:3 — God inhabits the praises of His people.)

3. To dance, sing, and rejoice
(Exodus 15:20–21 — Miriam and the women praised God with dancing after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea.)

4. To break satanic holds
(Acts 16:25–26 — Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises, and their chains were broken.)

(Psalm 34:3 — “Magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.”)

Sermon Topic: Knowing God

Text: Jeremiah 9:1–6, Jeremiah 9:23, John 15:15.

Knowing God is more than knowing about Him; it is having a personal relationship with Him and growing in our understanding of His character, ways, and heart.
God often does things in our lives that make us curious about Him. His works, His Word, His answers to prayers, and even some situations we do not understand can draw us closer and make us desire to know Him more.
Jeremiah 9:23 reminds us that our greatest boast should not be in wisdom, strength, or riches, but in knowing and understanding the Lord. Jesus also showed the closeness He desires with us in John 15:15, where He calls His disciples friends rather than servants.

Why Is Knowing God Important?
Knowing God gives stability.
When we truly know who God is, we are not easily shaken by circumstances. Our confidence rests in His character, not in what is happening around us.

Knowing God builds our faith.
The more we know His nature and promises, the more we trust Him.

Knowing God helps us understand His ways.
We may not always understand what God is doing, but knowing His character helps us trust Him even when we cannot see the outcome.

Knowing God brings intimacy with Him.
God does not merely want us to serve Him; He wants us to know Him personally and walk with Him.

Knowing God changes us.
The closer we become to God, the more His character is reflected in our lives.

The greatest pursuit of a believer should not simply be what God can give, but God Himself. The more we know Him, the more stable, confident, faithful, and secure we become.

SERMON TOPIC: CONQUERING YOUR THOUGHTS by REV. TIM AITONJE

1. Renew Your Mind — Romans 12:2
The first step to conquering your thoughts is to renew your mind. As our minds are transformed by God’s Word, our thoughts begin to align with His will.

2. Set Your Mind — Colossians 3:2
Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly — Colossians 3:16.

3. Let God’s Peace Guard Your Mind — Philippians 4:7; Colossians 3:15
When troubling thoughts come, allow the peace of God to guard your heart and mind. Don’t allow fear, anxiety, or confusion to take control.

4. Have a Sound Mind — 2 Timothy 1:7
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We can choose to reject thoughts that do not agree with God’s Word.

Three Steps to Take When Attacked With Bad Thoughts:
Identify the thought: Ask yourself, “Is this coming from God or from me?” Whatever produces fear and panic does not come from God.

Confront the thought with Scripture: Just as Jesus responded to the devil with the Word in Matthew 4:4–10, we must use Scripture to confront wrong thoughts
Replace the thought: Think on whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy — Philippians 4:8.

Your mind is a battlefield, but it doesn’t have to be a place of defeat. Renew it, guard it, fill it with God’s Word, and take every thought captive to Christ.

I WILL RECEIVE FROM GOD 🙏🏽🔥

Faith is an opportunity to have fellowship with God; it is not a theoretical concept. Faith believes God, trusts His Word, and receives from Him.

7 Ways to Receive from God:

1. It is of faith — The things we do as Christians must be rooted in faith.
2. God has no limitations — Nothing is impossible with Him. (Romans 4:17)
3. It may seem hopeless — Faith remains even when circumstances look impossible. (Romans 4:18)
4. You must look away from some things — Don't allow what you see to determine what you believe. (Romans 4:19)
5. Do not stagger or waver — Remain steadfast in your faith.
6. Give glory to God — Praise Him even before you see the manifestation.
7. Be fully convinced — Trust completely that God is able and faithful to do what He has promised.

HOW PRECIOUS IS CHRIST TO YOU? ❤️‍🔥

Your faith in Jesus is the only thing that truly matters. When Christ becomes precious to you, your faith will influence the way you live, speak, and respond to the challenges around you.

📖 Mark 5:25–34 reminds us of the woman who reached out to Jesus in faith and received her healing. She did not allow her situation to stop her from believing.

4 THINGS TO NOTE:

1️⃣ YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH A PHASE.
Whatever you are facing, remember that you are not alone. God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear.
📖 1 Corinthians 10:13

2️⃣ IT IS IMPORTANT TO HEAR GOD'S WORD.
What you hear matters because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.
📖 Romans 10:17

3️⃣ HEARING IS NOT ENOUGH—WHAT DO YOU SAY AND DO?
What you have heard means little if it does not produce action. Faith must be expressed through what you say, believe, and do.

4️⃣ ANYTHING WORTH DOING REQUIRES DETERMINATION.
There will always be resistance and challenges, but don't live your life without a faith project. Put your faith to work and dare to trust God for something beyond what you can accomplish by yourself.

✨ Don't let anyone compel you to bring proofs of miracles. Your faith is not dependent on proving God's works to people. Believe God, walk with Him, and let your life testify.

How precious is Christ to you?
May our faith in Jesus grow stronger until trusting Him becomes our way of life. 🙏🏽🔥

Sermon Topic: Miracles

Miracles in Scripture were recorded to strengthen our faith and teach us what to expect from God. Never become anti-miracle because what God has done before, He is still able to do today.

Luke 10:19 (KJV):
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
This verse emphasizes the authority Jesus gives to His followers over the power of the enemy. It is often used to encourage believers to walk in faith, courage, and confidence in God's protection and authority.
Do not measure God's possibilities with your physical eyes; discern them with your spirit. Faith sees beyond what is visible.

In John 11:17–26, Jesus showed that even when a situation seems hopeless, God's power is never limited. The challenges God allows in our lives are often opportunities for our faith to grow stronger.

The more time you spend in God's presence, the more His realities become your normal. Stay rooted in His Word, believe in His power, and expect miracles.
