REFLECTION ON TODAY’S READINGS AT MASS*

_First Reading: 2 Kings 4:8-11, 13-16_
_Psalm: Psalm 89:2-3, 16-19_
_Second Reading: Romans 6:3-4, 8-11_
_Gospel: Matthew 10:37-42_

*TOPIC: HOSPITALITY, NOT HOSTILITY — A PERFECT CHRISTIAN ATTRIBUTE*

🗣️ *In the Gospel, Jesus said:*
_“Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Anyone who welcomes a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward; and anyone who welcomes a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.”_ Matthew 10:40-41

🫶🏽 *Hospitality in Scripture:*
Was it not in Genesis 18 that Abraham welcomed angels disguised as strangers, showed them great hospitality, and his household was blessed with a child?
Was it not in Genesis 19 that Lot welcomed two angels into his home? That act of hospitality saved him and his family from the destruction of S***m and Gomorrah.

But in Luke 16:19-31, the rich man was condemned because of his hostility toward Lazarus. He saw, but he did not welcome.

In the First Reading, the Shunammite woman acted on these two virtues. She welcomed Elisha, and her household was blessed with a child. God still places great blessings in hospitality.

💯 *Learn this:* _“Hospitality, not hostility, is the perfect Christian virtue.”_

🗣️ *Every Christian should be known for kindness and love.* These two virtues define what it means to be a true disciple of Christ.

🥰It is a Christian act to show love to people both inside and outside our homes. At your workplace, if you fulfill your duties diligently and with love, you will be promoted. If you do both your Christian and social duties with love, you will be blessed.

👿But when you are reckless and hostile to your work, your boss, and the people around you, you will lose a lot. Everything done with love attracts sweet rewards.

🔥🔥🔥Allow the wisdom of God Most High to guide you in all things so that you may receive blessings in all you do. Be kind to people, and do not be hostile to them. Make people comfortable around you and good things will like to come your way.

May the Lord Jesus Christ help us with His Grace to help us show great to Our Neighbours, Amen 🙏🏾

*REFLECTION ON TODAY’S READINGS*

_First Reading: 2 Kings 24:8-17_
_Gospel: Matthew 7:21-29_

*FAITHFULNESS TO GOD: A GOLDEN VIRTUE*

💥💥In today’s Gospel, Our Lord Jesus Christ said: _“Not everyone who calls me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do.”_

🌹🔥In the _Diary_ of Saint Maria Faustina of the Divine Mercy, the Lord Jesus told her: _“The greatest sacrifice a person should offer to God is fulfilling what he has been destined to fulfill.”_ That is, if your destiny is to be a priest, becoming a priest is worth more to God than any gold offering. There is nothing that pleases the heart of a Father about a Child more than obedience — a child who respects and honors him. A father with such a child cannot talk about him without glorifying his existence.💯

✅✅In the First Reading, King Jehoiachin and King Zedekiah of Judah sinned greatly against God. So the Lord allowed King Nebuchadnezzar to invade Judah and reduce it to ruin. 2 Kings 24:20 says that because of the sins of Zedekiah, God banished Judah from His sight.

👿Only sin can make God turn away from us and not hear our prayers, as Isaiah 59:2 says. Only sin can make His presence depart from us. _“God is not glorified in sin.”_ He Loves holiness; He is pleased with Good deeds.

🌟🌟Deuteronomy 7:9, “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.”

🔥💥When we are Faithful to God, He will not allow evil to ruin us nor will He allow pestilence to destroy our Fortunes. He will bless us and keep us save. At the end of time, He will bring us into His Glorious Kingdom in heaven to live with Him forever.

🥰🥰Brethren, be Faithful to God in everything. Seek not to be pleased but to Please God. Seek not to be Loved but to Love Him above all things. Seek not to be honored but to honour Him always. Let your life breathe in Him and without Him, let the breathe cease. Let Jesus Christ be your everything. He will bless you and keep you.

REFLECTION ON TODAY'S READINGS IN MASS...

First reading: 2 Kings 19:9-11,14-21,31-36
Gospel: Matthew 7:6,12-14

KEEPING A LIVELY FAITH IN GOD.

*🌟🌟Sennacherib, king of Assyria, threatened Hezekiah, king of Judah, with the destruction of his kingdom. At that time, Sennacherib was the strongest king in the world. He had conquered territories and kingdoms all around him. Next on his list was Judah.*

🔥*A message was sent to King Hezekiah: “Prepare to lose your kingdom, because I am coming to destroy it and take your people as slaves.” Sennacherib even mocked, “The God of heaven who promised to protect Judah cannot stop me.”*

*👀When Hezekiah received the message, he didn’t shiver 🥶, and he didn’t beg Sennacherib for mercy. Instead, he trusted the Lord God of heaven. He believed only God could save Judah from Sennacherib’s hands.*

*So Hezekiah turned to God in prayer… and God answered! An angel from heaven was sent to Sennacherib’s camp. Thousands of his soldiers were struck down, and Sennacherib fled in fear. Alleluia!!!*

💥God does not despise the Prayer of a Righteous Man(Psalm 102:17). A Lively Faith in God is an act of Righteousness. Abraham was Counted among the Righteous because of his great Faith in God Most High and he was blessed. *"Faith is the bridge that connects us with God. If our Faith is alive in Him always, He will always come through for us in every Circumstances."* Your Faith in God gives Him entrance to your life and when He comes, He will bless and Protect you. *"God Created you without your consent but He will not help you without your consent"*.

💥My dear friends, build your Faith in God and be assured of His Protection 💪🏼...
