Yesterday marked a truly historic and spirit-filled moment in the body of Christ in Anambra State, as the Awka South Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) officially inaugurated its new set of executives. It wasn’t just an inauguration—it was a convergence of honor, legacy, kingdom advancement, and divine celebration.

From every corner of the state, the family of faith gathered in strength—fathers and mothers in the faith, government dignitaries, stakeholders in ministry, and passionate believers—all stood in unity to witness this remarkable transition.

A standing ovation was given to the past executives whose tireless labor laid a solid foundation for the chapter’s rising glory. Among them were:

Iykes Afoenyi, the immediate past Chairman
. Aify Afoenyi, immediate past Chairperson
. Godwin Chukwubuikem, immediate past Deputy Chairman
. Emeka Obiora, immediate past Secretary
the former Financial Director, now entrusted with the mantle of leadership as the New Chairman

These men and women were not just celebrated—they were honored as true vessels of kingdom excellence.

We declare that the glory of the latter shall be greater than the former, and that PFN Awka South shall continue to blaze trails, raise leaders, and influence culture for Christ.

Something Great Is About to Happen in Awka South!

We’re counting down to a historic moment as the Awka South Chapter of PFN hosts a double celebration:

Inauguration of the New EXCOs & Send-Forth Ceremony for the Past Administration

Date: Saturday, May 3rd, 2025
Time: 12pm
Venue: Dominant Throne International Church, opposite Kwata Market

We are honored to host our State Bishop, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, and the PFN State Chairperson, Rev. Mrs. Ruth Ezedebego—giants in the faith and trailblazers in leadership.

This will be a time of honor, commissioning, celebration, and impartation. Don’t miss it!

The Awka South chapter of the PFN hosted its first Prayer Summit of the year. This powerful gathering drew believers from across the local government area for a time of united prayer, worship, and fellowship.

We were richly blessed by the ministry of the Word through Rev. Tochukwu Ubaezuonu, Bishop Mac-Peters Olofu, Bishop Matthew Akhigbe, and a brief but impactful charge from Bishop Iykes Afoenyi.

A key highlight was the session with our Awka South Chairman, Reverend Okey Okoroji, where he clearly laid out the vision for this new administration. The mantra for this new administration is "GET INVOLVED", and we're on a mandate to make sure every Pentecostal church in Awka South identifies and joins the PFN.

It was truly a time well spent, and every moment was filled with divine impartation.
