The **Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC) Pastors' Kids Association (PAKIA)** successfully hosted its 2026 Convention under the inspiring theme, **"Voices from the Altar,"** from **Wednesday, July 29 to Sunday, August 2, 2026**. The convention brought together pastors' children from across the Union Conference for a spiritually enriching and transformative experience centered on faith, leadership, discipleship, and service.
The theme, **"Voices from the Altar,"** served as a powerful reminder that pastors' children are not only privileged to be raised in ministry homes but are also called to become authentic voices for Christ in their generation. Throughout the convention, participants were challenged to embrace their God-given identity, deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and respond courageously to His call to mission in a rapidly changing world.
The convention was richly blessed by the presence of distinguished church leaders and dignitaries. The event was graced by the **President of the West-Central Africa Division**, **Pastor B. E. O. Udoh**, whose inspiring messages emphasized unwavering commitment to God, spiritual excellence, and wholehearted dedication to the gospel commission.
Also present was the **President of the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference**, **Pastor Onyebuchi Opara**, who encouraged the participants to remain steadfast in their Christian walk and to uphold the values and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as faithful ambassadors of Christ.
The **ENUC Ministerial Association Secretary**, **Pastor Obinna Akubude**, welcomed participants and reaffirmed the Union's commitment to mentoring and nurturing pastors' children into spiritually grounded, purpose-driven leaders who will positively influence both the church and society.
The convention was ably coordinated under the leadership of the **ENUC PAKIA President**, **Hon. Justice L. T. C. Eruba**, whose vision and dedication contributed significantly to the success of the event. Through careful planning and collaboration, the convention provided an atmosphere of fellowship, spiritual renewal, mentorship, and personal development.
One of the highlights of the convention was the ministry of the guest speaker, **PKP Okan-Gbenedio Gift**, **Campus Chaplain, Babcock University**, whose practical, Bible-centered presentations challenged the participants to discover their purpose, strengthen their faith, and become courageous voices for Christ in their homes, churches, campuses, and communities.
The convention also featured dynamic worship sessions, inspiring music, Bible studies, panel discussions, leadership seminars, youth interactions, prayer sessions, sporting activities, and fellowship opportunities designed to strengthen the spiritual, emotional, and social lives of pastors' children.
The gathering attracted numerous pastors, church administrators, departmental directors, pastors' families, youth leaders, and other distinguished guests from within and beyond the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference, making the convention a memorable celebration of unity, spiritual growth, and Christian fellowship.
As the convention came to a close, participants departed with renewed commitment to serve God faithfully, uphold Christian values, and become influential "voices from the altar" wherever God leads them. The 2026 ENUC PAKIA Convention reaffirmed the vital role of pastors' children in advancing the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and inspiring a new generation to live lives wholly devoted to Christ.
