*THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL*
*DATE*: Wednesday 9th Sept. 2020.
*TOPIC:* TURNING YOUR WEAKNESS INTO STRENGTH.
*TEXT*: 2 Cor. 12:8-10.
*MESSAGE*:
Many at time, the reproaches from our enemies as well as some impairment help to hide pride from us and even humbles us to serve God. Sometimes, spiritual burdens are ordered to cure spiritual pride. Those highly favoured by God are still prone to the ill intension of the devil to stigmatize and ridicule them. In this same vein, some preserved in a body and humble environs to secure them from evil and mishap and others also whose name are penned down for salvation might suffer persecution in a wilder dimension. However we look at it, whether we were deprived or isolated ourselves or became passive to be defrauded, it is God in us, saving the best for last. It is therefore better still in this conditions to preserve and become much more elastic even in our prayer lives and should not be too anxious or force God for intervention. Today some believers want to blow their trumpet on what they impacted to the church or humanity, thus exalting themselves above measure. Apostle Paul in the passage has a need or infirmity bothering or weighing him down spiritually. This he besought God thrice that he might be relieved of and in vs. 10 of our text, he resorted
_“Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecution, in distresses, for Christ sake: For when I am weak, then I am strong”._
A paradox explaining that when we are weak i.e allow God to use us in his might and wisdom, forsaking the usage of our canal wisdom and strength, why not submit even your weakness to God and let Christ be your strength in weakness and infirmities? Good day.
