No. Allaah has made it permissible for a man who wants to marry a woman (Niqabi) to look at her face. And even if he wants to look at the face, it should not be in seclusion. It can either be in the presence of one of her friends or in the house of her (the womanโs) parents.
And you are only permitted to look at her just once. So, if you want to see the face more than once or twice, then you have to do what Allaah has instructed by informing her parents that you are satisfied and you want to do the needful (marriage).
But wanting to gaze at her continuously is a precursor for fitnah. Allah has not permitted that for you. Do you want to look at her (face) again? Thatโs not allowed. You should look at her once (and look at) everything you want to see.
If you are not interested, both of you should go your separate ways or you proceed (to marriage) if you are pleased with what you have seen. So even if you now want to look at her 100 times after (marrying her), that is left to you. She is now yours.
But saying you want to look at her again and again, that is not allowed.
And oh women, Allah has honoured you. Oh women among the believers, Allah has honoured you more than you imagined. Do not allow yourself to be unnecessarily displayed. Allah has only permitted it (nadhar) to be once for whoever proposes to marry you.
And if he does not marry you, Allah will grant you that which is yours.
Allahu Alam
