TOPIC:
If you understand that authority has been given to you, your life and your future will be bright.

TEXT: Luke 10:19

PREAMBLE:

WHAT IS UNDERSTANDING?

Understanding means knowing something or looking for the formula to balance things. Understanding is a process of knowledge. Most people are educated but they lack basic understanding. Some traders and business people have more understanding than some educated individuals.

WHAT IS AUTHORITY?

Authority can be defined as power. He that has authority has an attorney to act. The different arms of the government have the power of attorney or autonomy to act in accordance with their office. Hence, power has been given to the different aspects of the government to act on behalf of their office. Note, there is life today and there is life tomorrow. What you face defines your life and future. What you encounter defines and shapes your life and future.

Listen to me, if you don't have the understanding of your own, you will be easily deceived. In life, there are things you are supposed to know and understand.

Every challenge that comes to a man studies a man. Case studies: the deliverance of the mad man of Gadara - Luke 8:26-39 ; the deliverance of the possessed lady - Acts 16.

POINT 1:

UNDERSTAND THAT GOD HAVE MADE YOU GREATER THAN EVERYTHING. Psalm 82:6

Problems that come your way know that you are greater and bigger than them. Most issues we experience or have in our life directly or indirectly, we invited them into our lives. What works for A may not work for B and what works for C may not work for D. So, be yourself and don't struggle to be someone else. Value where you are. Value what God has given to you and appreciate God for life.

POINT 2:

IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE POWER THAT YOU HAVE, LIFE BECOMES VERY EASY.
For instance, there are some people who are not from wealthy families, yet anything their hands find to do, they will succeed and make progress. They can never be stranded or broke. There are equally some other people that have the grace for business and excellence and you can never compete with them. Hear this, people's grace is not your grace. Therefore, pray for your own grace to be activated.

PROPHETIC PRAYER:

Place your right hand on your head and declare, any power that was placed upon my life before my birth, let that power begin to manifest fully.

Damages are done on a daily basis because some people want to be like some other people.

ADVICE TO MEN AND WOMEN:

As a woman don't marry a man that will push you to do what you are not supposed to do and as a man don't marry a woman that will push you to do what you are not supposed to do.

ARE YOU GOD'S TIME KEEPER? OR GOD IS YOUR TIME KEEPER? YOU MUST LEARN TO WAIT ON GOD.

Anything you need from God, let your mind be stable. An unstable mind and an unstable spirit cannot get anything from God.

POINT 3:

UNDERSTAND IN YOUR MOUTH AND YOUR SOUL LIES A LOT OF POWER. So, be careful what you say or what you think. Note this, there are people that will not drag you but what follows them will drag you. There are people that will not fight you but what follows them will fight you.

QUOTE 1:

In your negotiation be careful. Be careful what you negotiate with people.

Don't pray a careless prayer. Prayer is simply negotiating with God. Violent prayer is good but it is not every time, you pray violent prayer.

FACT:

You have too much power in you or within you but how to activate such powers that is what you need to know.

QUOTE 2:

The power you want to waste make it become positive and productive.

Don't mock people when they are going down because it is just for a moment things will definitely turn around for their good.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION:

THE PEOPLE THAT MOCKED YOU, WILL SEE YOUR LIFE BETTER THAN THEIR LIFE.

In a nutshell, if you don't understand the power within you and know how to activate it properly, your life will be limited.

TOPIC:
The truth shall lead you to brightness.

TEXT:
Rev.12:7-11; 1 Sam.15:22

MINISTER:
Apostle Little David FOC.

PREAMBLE:

What is brightness?
It is something that is light. Something that is pure. Something that is bright. Something that is sparkling. Something that shows off when there is darkness. In the midst of darkness, you can figure out light. Darkness cannot comprehend light that is why darkness hates light. Show me a coverage of light and I will show you a coverage of destiny. Light always battles darkness to prove brightness.

However, people hardly believe the truth because the lie looks like the truth. God does not want man to make a show rather He wants man to demonstrate His power.

QUOTE 1:

There are some victories you celebrate openly that may lead to your doom.

QUOTE 2:

If you don't understand the principle of obedience, it may lead to your destruction.

Listen to me, when the truth have been established before follow the course of victory. Any victory that has a condition attached to it, is no victory. Victory has no condition attached to it.

You can never be more righteous than God. When David came to the stage, God gave him a test. Every throne has a test and battle to contend with. You must conquer the battle for the throne God have given to you.

God's miracle must have a testimony and a prove. Wisdom is not stupidity rather it is 'wiseness' and intelligence. God will allow you to finish all your alternatives and opportunities before He shows up as God. When the enemy comes to fight you, God will allow them to explore or use all their tactics before He shows up. Anytime David sin against God, he always ask God for mercy. Moses on the other hand, is a man filled with anger. Note this, it is not everything you should speak about but in most cases you should be quiet.

POINT 1:

Understand that every battle that comes your way, there must be a reason and a prove.

Everything that was said about you whether it is true or false becomes an evidence against you because your name is attached to it.

FACT:

There are people who don't care to investigate what they have heard about you, rather they help to spread the news about you whether it is true or false.

Hear this, there are people you have helped in life before but they have forgotten you, when they hear something about you, they keep spreading the news. There are equally people who don't celebrate you when you are doing well but they are waiting to mock you when things goes bad or wrong.

POINT 2:

You have to understand that life itself is a battle for survival.

You battle life as a child, you battle life as a teenager, you battle life as a youth, you battle life as a matured person, you battle life as a married person, you battle life as a business person, you battle life as a minister and so on. Life is a serious battle. Hence, life is a battlefield.

QUOTE 3:

There are people that comes back to your life with a reason. Hence, everybody have a reason of been attached to people. Note this, be careful how you judge issues because things turn around.

POINT 3:

Don't wait for who will make you, work to make yourself. If you see who renders assistance to you, appreciate them greatly.

In conclusion, the truth is better and more expensive than lies but when you hear the truth believe it, understand it and work with it.

God is the biggest surprise even when you don't want the surprise, He allows the surprise to come to you.

TEXT:
Jonah 1:1-17

MINISTER:

PREAMBLE:

I have never seen a man take God unaware but I have seen God take men unaware. Human beings cannot take God unaware because it has never happened before and can never happen in our generation.

Anything you do in life as a competition with God, you are on your way to destruction. Listen to me, every surprise that is not in line with God's plan for your life can never happen whether by any means.

POINT 1:

Let your focus be, God you are the surprise give it to me all.

QUOTE 1:

Despite your braveness and intelligence, without God's surprise you will not go anywhere.

There are skills you have that only God can make manifest in your life. Hear this, the day God decides that you are at the top nothing can ever stop it.

QUOTE 2:

Surprises that changes your life does not come with stress. In other words, life changing surprises is stress free.

YOUR PRAYER SHOULD BE, Lord let what will make me not give me stress.

POINT 2:

Let your heart be open because surprise can come anytime.

There are surprises that takes many years to manifest while there are surprises that does not take years. Life is transition. Life is transactional and life is also a transit point.

There are people who rose to the limelight before you in life but when you attain your own level of greatness, you become higher than them.

POINT 3:

The time that you understand that God is the biggest surprise, He gives you a better thing.

QUOTE 3:

Don't be moved by the condemnation of people rather be moved by the condemnation of God.

Life is transition. Life is transactional and life is business. What is your dream? Life begins by a process. A name can give someone a gate pass and a name can also bring condemnation to someone.

QUOTE 4:

Stop been hurt when a close person fail you, it happens for a surprise and a reason.

There are names that can never die because of their level of influence and impact. Your name can be a trademark. There are names that are trademarks. Hence, the journey to greatness starts little by little.

POINT 4:

Be careful of what you expect as surprise because it can throw you off balance and can still put you in balance.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS:

*May your attitude qualify you for a better surprise.

*May your character quality you for a better surprise.

*May the surprise that comes to you not kill you rather may it bless you.

NOTE THIS: no matter your wisdom, intelligence and social stand, you cannot be faster than the visioner of your Church. That is, you cannot be faster than your spiritual father.

Hear this, before anything happens to you, there is a sign or a signal. CASE STUDY: the story of Jonah in the belly of the fish. The surprise Jonah got was that he found himself inside the belly of the fish.

In conclusion, God's biggest surprise to humanity was to send His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the whole world. Hence, surprise could be for your prosperity or for your condemnation.

SURPRISES COME WITH A LOT OF PACKAGES THAT YOU DON'T EXPECT BUT LET IT BE WHAT YOU CAN CARRY.

PREAMBLE:

What is surprise?

Surprise can also be defined as a shock. Shock either keeps you or breaks you.

A lot of Christians are very good at making comments like where is God? Why am I going through all this things? Why is God quiet on my matter? God can never keep anyone quiet.

What is carry?

The word carry means lifting something or to bear a burden. It also means a load you chose to move with.

POINT 1:

The package of the surprise might be good or bad depending on what comes to you.

Case study: The battle between the king of Moab and the Israelites.

QUOTE:

When things are turning in your favour, be careful not to be over-excited because you don't know what follows next. Hence, before you announce your success, breakthrough or victory, be careful because you don't know what follows next.

Listen to me, surprise can eliminate you and can also keep you. Becoming great and mighty is not a problem but can you maintain that level of greatness and mightiness you have attained? If negative surprise does not kill you, that means God loves you dearly. Surprise is full of good things or bad things as the case maybe. Surprise could be an advantage or a disadvantage.

There was a meeting held in heaven and God asked a question, who will I send? In the midst of the deepest silence, Jesus answered, "here am I Lord, send me." For the outcome of that meeting held in heaven to manifest in the physical realm, Archangel Gabriel was sent by God to deliver a message to Mary saying," hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you...." Mary was not told of the challenges of the surprise message. If she had known the challenges with the surprise message, she would not have accepted it.

YOUR PRAYER:

Lord make me so unique and special to my generation.

Hear this, surprise is categorized by different things.

POINT 2:

There are surprises that attracts the enemies attack and also comes with great challenges.

Case study:

The story of Joseph the son of Jacob. How he was sold into slavery in Egypt because of jealousy.

There are surprises that will come to you, someone that initially loves you, starts hating you unnecessarily. There are surprises that will come to you, someone that have said I will stand with you, starts standing against you. There are surprises that will come to you, someone that have been defending you, will be the one to eliminate you. There are surprises that comes to you, your blood related person turns against you.

If surprise does not kill or destroy you, be grateful to God. Listen to me, it is not how long you suffer that matters rather it is how the breakthrough of a day brings you to your point of recovery. The breakthrough of a day can help you to recover what you lost for twelve years. Your prayer should be any surprise that comes from anyone to me, let it be what will increase me and not what will reduce me.

There is no permanent friend and there is no permanent enemy. Something can happen tomorrow that the people who once were your haters can now become your supporters. And the people that once were your supporters can turn to become your haters. That is the reality of life. Note: the most difficult people to stay with are people who are highly spiritual and intellectually sound. You find it very difficult to please them.

According to the book of Job, the Saints of God gather together and Satan also appeared in their midst. Implication, when a good thing is about to happen to you, the evil people appear in your midst to get information. Look at the surprise that came to Job. A man lost all his children, all his properties and his wife in the same day.

Life is full of surprises. It can take you unaware. Note: it was not Satan that told God about Job rather God told Satan about Job. Sometimes God allow things to happen to you so that you will learn, understand and become wise.

Hear this, the truth to every surprise you see that comes to you carry three things;

First, God allowed it to happen.
Second, it was designed to happen to you for a season.
Third, it happened to fulfil God's design and purpose for your life.

Listen to me, at the time you are about to have heart attack that situation is for a heart blessing and heart breakthrough.

Surprise can be anything. You know people that truly love you not when things are rosy rather when things are very tough and difficult. How do you know who loves you, when you have a misunderstanding with the person and both of you still maintain a good communication line. How the person act maturely in the midst of the misunderstanding. People who have been with you when you have gone through the most difficult and challenging situations of life and not people that just come around you when you have in plenty but people that stood by you in times of difficulties.

QUOTE:

Love have no boundaries. Love is full of challenges. Love is full of happiness.

See how surprise came to Saul the king. When he disobeyed God, God removed His Spirit and commanded an evil spirit to enter into him to torment him.

POINT 3:

When the surprise that you lest expect to be good comes to you, don't allow yourself to be broken rather tell yourself that things can change for good.

POINT 4:

Expect anything in life as a surprise whether good or bad.

What have you seen or experienced? When you have seen things in life, it makes you calm and quiet. My late father once told me, "don't use your grace to abuse people who are older than you."

In conclusion, never you expect good or bad from anybody rather keep your heart open to accept anything that comes your way.

TOPIC:

THE POWER IN HIS PROMISE OF SURPRISE.

TEXT: John 11:25-26.

MINISTER:

PREAMBLE:

There are things prayer does and there are equally things obedience to instruction does. When you find the instruction backing your life, things becomes very easy. The Bible says, ''my people perish for lack of knowledge.'' Another Bible text says,"where there is no vision my people perish." Therefore, you need knowledge and vision for your life to become better.

WHAT IS POWER?

Power means authority. Power is authority to represent or act on behalf of someone. Power is not strength but it depicts strength. God's power over your life is divine shelter. When you have heaven's shelter nothing can affect or destroy you from the dark Kingdom.

WHAT IS PROMISE?

Promise simply put is a word of confidence given to another person. Sometimes promise makes you feel that you have a backbone. Promise also mean assurance.

WHAT IS SURPRISE?

Surprise means taking someone unaware. It could mean a shocking experience. When you are privilege to be under God's covering, don't be afraid of what you see. Promise is a covenant. It could be likened to an oath.

When God wants to make you unbeatable by your enemies, He shows you the ways of the enemies so that you will stand in a better position to fight your enemies. Don't be too quick to judge people because you don't know the reason why they are acting or behaving the way they are. God might make you aware but He will not tell you the reason. Knowing the reason of a situation and been aware of the situation are two different things.

PROPHECY AND REVELATION CAN BE THE POWER THAT GIVES YOU THE PROMISE OF HIS WORD. You need to be in the same realm with someone to understand how they function. But because you are not in the same realm with them, you don't understand how they function.

Hear this, promise is far deeper and stronger than normal word. Promise is a debt you owe, you must pay. God promised Moses that he will lead his people to the promise land but when Moses disobeyed God, God changed His promise towards him. Guard your life not to break the promise made to you by people. When people break their promise towards you, check your life to know where you have failed that the promise made to you was not fulfilled.

There are things you can overcome and there are things you cannot overcome. The things you can overcome are the things God have given you the power to overcome while the things you cannot overcome are the things God have allowed to happen in your life to train you.

POINT 1:

UNDERSTAND THAT THAT PROMISE CARRIES WEIGHT. Jesus told the disciples I will die and on the third day I will rise again. Jesus' words to Thomas after His resurrection is,"blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe." There is a position you find yourself in life that your weight becomes heavier.

QUOTE 1:

May nobody be able to defeat me in life.

If you are defeated, the people that believes in you are finished. If you are defeated, the people that counts on you are finished. If you are defeated, the people that depends on you are finished.

POINT 2:

THAT WORD OF SURPRISE CAN BREAK YOU.

QUOTE 2:

When grace is in you, it is in you, it cannot change.

The Bible says,'by their fruits we shall know them.

POINT 3:

WHEN THAT WORD OF SURPRISE COMES, IT BECOMES TOO DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO BATTLE WITH IT.

Sometimes that word does not come when you are expecting it rather it comes when you lest expect it.

POINT 4:

THAT WORD OF SURPRISE IS A WEAPON.

In a nutshell, the fulfilment of God's promise to your life and destiny is the biggest surprise you can ever have.
