*THE STRENGTH AND SPEED OF THE SPIRIT IS UPON YOU*

*JUDGES 15:14-15 (LB), 1 KINGS 18:46 (LB)*
*As Samson and his captors arrived at Lehi, … the strength of the Lord came upon Samson, and the ropes with which he was tied snapped like thread and fell from his wrists! Then he picked up a donkey’s jawbone that was lying on the ground and killed a thousand Philistines with it. *and the Lord gave special strength to Elijah so that he was able to run ahead of Ahab’s chariot to the entrance of the city!*

In the same way that people were wondering and asking what the source of Samson’s strength was, people shall wonder and ask about the source of your strength and speed. By the strength and speed of the Spirit, you will find yourself performing beyond your human strength and limitations. You shall overcome great challenges and make great impact by the supernatural power of the Spirit at work in your life. And your results will attract people to know and put their faith in Christ. Your testimonies will stir up faith in the lives of others.

Ahab had not only gone ahead of Elijah, he went with his chariots. But by the power of the Spirit, Elijah outran Ahab and his chariots. By the strength and speed of the Spirit, you will run, you will overtake and you will take over. It was by the Spirit of God that Bezaleel was filled with wisdom, understanding and knowledge in all manner of skills needed for the constructing the tabernacle, (Exo.31:1-5). It was by the Spirit Joseph provide baffling economic solutions for Egypt’s economy, (Gen.41:37-40). The Spirit of God will make you more creative and resourceful in every area of your life. Samson used the jaw bone of an ass that was lying around to win a battle some armies may not have won with sophisticated weapons. With your available resources, you will achieve more by the Spirit, than people with better resources.

*DON’T WASTE SUCH A GREAT OPPORTUNITY*

*1 CORINTHIANS 9:16 (KJV, TPT)*

*For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! *For you see, even though I proclaim the good news, I can’t take the credit for my labors, for I am compelled to fulfill my duty by completing this work. It would be agony to me if I did not constantly preach the gospel!*

When Paul said, “Woe is me if I preach not the gospel,” he was not saying God will place a curse on him if he doesn’t preach the Gospel, or that something bad will happen to him. One of the meanings of the Greek word used for woe there is ‘alas’. It is an exclamation used to express grief; for example, when a person misses a great opportunity. It is the same way you will feel as a footballer when other players have dribbled everybody on the pitch including the goalkeeper, and then the ball is passed to you in front of the open goal post; but instead of simply kicking the ball into the empty goal post, you kicked the ball to the side of the goalpost or the throw area.

On the Cross, God the Father and Jesus have done everything necessary for the salvation of mankind. Now, God has filled you with His Spirit and given you the simple task of telling people about God’s love and what Jesus did on the Cross so they can receive their salvation. Paul was saying he would feel very bad to waste such a glorious opportunity.

It is a rare privilege we have. We are not doing God a favour by preaching the Gospel. It’s God that’s doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to join Him in His process and plan of bringing His love and salvation to mankind. Yet He will also reward us for it, (Rev.22:12).

Father, I thank you for this great privilege to preach the Gospel to others. Help me to maximize this great opportunity.

*TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2026*

*IT IS TIME TO GO!*

*Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.*

This wonderful word ‘go’, is one of the most powerful words in the entire Bible. It is a summary of our mission, mandate, purpose and God’s greatest desire for all men. It’s the summary of Jesus’ last words before He ascended and it is something He wants to always drive us every single day and moment of our lives. Jesus has commanded you and me to ‘go’ into all the world to preach the Gospel of the love of God and all He has done for us and to raise disciples for Him.

All of God’s glorious might and power is backing and accompanying you as you go. By the virtue of the power of the Holy Spirit, you have been empowered to be an effective witness for Christ. Make use of this power today. God is counting on you. After God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power, He did not sit down in one place. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, (Acts 10:38). He knew He was the light of the world and He carried out His mission with a sense of urgency, (John 9:4-5). It is only as we go that signs and wonders will follow us, (Mark 16:15-17). As the Father by His love and power sent Jesus to come down to earth to die for the salvation of all men, so Jesus by His love and power has sent you now to preach the Gospel about what He did, so that men can experience His love and saving power, (John 20:21).

*Prayer:*

Father, I am willing to go out and preach the Gospel and raise disciples for you. Thank you for your power. Use me, Lord.

*MONDAY, APRIL 20TH, 2026*

*GIVE FOR THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL AND GOD’S KINGDOM*

*MATTHEW 6:19-21 (AMPC)*
*Do not gather and heap up …for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal. But gather and heap up …for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.*

There is great joy in Heaven when a soul is saved (Luke 15:7). God wants us to be deliberate about investing our money and resources in things that will bring joy to Heaven and God’s kingdom. Invest your money and resources in things that have eternal value. The Bible speaks about certain women who supported Jesus with their substance (Luke 8:1-3). Paul spoke very highly of the believers at the Macedonian church for how they gave and supported both him and others, (Phil.4:15). They were so willing to give that they gave joyfully even out of their deep poverty, and they were pleading with him for the opportunity to give to bless others (2Cor.8:1-5). It was the revelation of the grace of God that produced this mindset and attitude in them. Do not give to show off or to be recognized by men. Jesus said when you do this, you will not get any reward from God the Father, (Matt.6:1-4).

Be willing to give not just your money, but also your time, your energy, and your talent/skills for the spread of the Gospel and the advancement of the kingdom of God. Salvation is free but preaching the Gospel is not cheap. A lot of resources are needed for organizing crusades, conventions, printing of tracts, books, devotionals, sponsoring missionaries, buying airtime on television and radio, building churches, etc. Give to ministers of the Gospel (1Cor.9:11, Phil.4:14-17).

In the beginning it was not so: meaning no marriage began with divorce in mind even the arranged ones. All marriages started in love but sustenance is the core issue.

Objective: To demystify the issues around separation and divorce in marriage

HEAVEN or HELL IN MARRIAGE.

There is always an impact either positive or negative.

Types of operating systems in marriages
1. Traditional style
2. Social media style
3. Religious style (African Traditional religion, Islam, Hindus, Grail message, Atheists etc.)
4. Western style
5. Biblical or Christo-centric style

*SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 2026*

*PRAY FOR THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST (2)*

*2Thessalonians 3:1, Acts 4:29-30 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:… for all men have not faith. *And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.*

In The Passion Translation, our text above says, “Finally, dear brothers and sisters, pray for us that the Lord’s message will continue to spread rapidly and its glory be recognized everywhere, just as it was with you.”

Your prayers can help the Gospel to spread rapidly and enter places it needs to enter. It can make the glory and power of the Gospel to be seen. Your prayers can also help remove every hindrance to the spread of the Gospel. After asking for prayers for the spread of the Gospel, Paul added, “And pray that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people, for not everyone believes the message,” (2Thes.3:2, TPT). By your prayers, negative policies and legislations against the spread of the Gospel can be removed or overcome.

Our second text above shows us how the disciples of Jesus prayed after they had been threatened not to preach the Gospel anymore. We need to pray for God to grant us and other believers more utterance and boldness to preach the Gospel of Christ, (Eph.6:19). As we fervently pray all these prayers, the Gospel of Christ will grow mightily and prevail around our vicinities and our nation! More people will rise up to boldly preach the Gospel of Christ and God will stretch forth His hands to manifest the supernatural to confirm the Gospel.

*Prayer:*

Father, may the Gospel spread rapidly and be glorified. Grant us more utterance and boldness to preach and remove hindrances.

*PRAY FOR THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST (1)*

*Matthew 9:36-38, Colossians 4:3 (TPT) …when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, …Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. *…please pray for me, that God will open a door of opportunity for us to preach the revelation of the mystery of Christ, for whose sake I am imprisoned.*

Your prayers are very important for the spread of the Gospel of Christ on the earth. That is why Jesus wants you to pray about this. As God fills your heart with compassion for the lost and the vision of His great harvest, the very first thing He wants you to do is to pray.

Never think that the labourers are no longer few. When you understand how great God’s harvest is and the amount of people that are still unsaved, ignorant of the truth of Christ and under the bo***ge and oppression of sin and the devil, you will know that the labourers are really few. Also, many people are preaching, but only few people are really preaching Christ and His truth. It is God that raises and sends labourers into His harvest. As we pray and ask God to send more labourers, He will raise and stir more people to join us in spreading the Gospel and bringing in His harvest.

Another thing we need to pray about is for opportunities to spread the Gospel. There are people who may seem difficult or impossible to reach, but certain situations and opportunities can arise that will make them open and willing to hear the Gospel. We need to pray that God will create opportunities for us, that we will recognize those opportunities when they arise, and we will seize and maximize them as they arise.

*Prayer:*

Father, we ask that you send more labourers into your vineyard. We also pray for more opportunities to preach the Gospel.

*PRAY FOR YOUR HEART TO ENLIGHTENED*

*Ephesians 1:18-20 (NIV)*

*I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,*

One of the greatest needs we have after putting our faith in Christ is for the light (knowledge) of Christ to flood our hearts. In our text above, Paul lists three major things we need revelation light (knowledge) about: the hope (kind of life) to which God has called us, the riches of God’s glorious inheritance in us, and God’s mighty resurrection power at work in our lives.

As you grow in revelation knowledge about these things, your life will be transformed. You will move from glory to glory by the Spirit of God.

God has hope in you. By the Gospel, God has called you to obtain and manifest the glory of Christ on this earth (2 Thes.2:14). As you pray this prayer in our text above, this hope will become clearer and more real to you, and it will drive and enhance your life. God’s glorious inheritance in you is vast and abundant. As you grow in your understanding and consciousness of them, you will understand how special and blessed you are, and you will be able to activate the manifestation of this inheritance in various areas of your life. The fruit and gifts of the Spirit are part of your inheritance. This prayer will also increase your understanding and consciousness of the resurrection power of the Spirit at work in your life. By this, nothing will be impossible for you.

Father, please flood my heart with light about the hope to which you have called me, and your glorious riches and power in me.

*THANKING GOD FOR ALL HE’S DONE FOR YOU IN CHRIST*

*COLOSSIANS 2:6-7 (AMPC)*
*As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (…) in union with and conformity to Him. Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.*

One reason many believers do not spend time thanking God for the things He’s done for them in Christ is that they cannot presently see all those things manifesting in their lives physically. We are more accustomed to thanking God for the things we see physically than for the things we have received by our faith in Christ. Thanking God for the things He has done for us in Christ is the only true way we can give thanks always and in/for all things (Eph.5:20, 1Thes.5:18).

Even though we cannot physically see and feel everything God has done for us in Christ, they are real. They are our present reality in the spirit and as we rejoice and thank God for them, we become rooted and established in our faith and we activate their manifestations in our lives. They abound and overflow into our lives. The Bible says Abraham was strong in faith, giving glory to God, (Rom.4:20). As He continued doing this, God’s promise to Him manifested in his life.

Your ability to thank God for what He has done for you in Christ shows Him that you believe you have received it as your reality. The way we worship God in the spirit is by rejoicing in Christ (Phil.3:3); rejoicing about what God has done for us in Christ. Another good way to worship in the Spirit is to sing and give thanks in tongues (1Cor.14:15-17).
