Romans 4:20-21
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”

Abraham is a prime example of someone who was fully persuaded that God would perform what He had promised, that is conviction.
Conviction was a controlling factor in Abraham's life, and he ordered his life accordingly, experiencing the blessing of God.

Conviction is a key component of faith. When a person lacks conviction, his faith wavers and the promises of God may not be fulfilled. Scripture tells us, “When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord” (James 1:6–7, NIV).

We must have the conviction that the Word of God is living and powerful, and that it works in those who receive and trust in it. The promises of God are all sourced in him and find their yes in Christ. “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' (done) in Christ. And so through him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20, NIV).

From a practical standpoint, we must have the conviction that we serve a God who sees and provides. When he gives us assignments, we can be confident of experiencing his provision. “The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24, NIV).

We are told in Isaiah that he does our works in us: “Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us” (Isaiah 26:12, NIV).
Throughout Scripture we see God performing his Word in people and circumstances. He is still in that operating mode today. “Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him” (Psalm 115:3, NIV).

The sign that we believe God, is to hold on to His promises like Abraham, by declaring, “I am blessed; there is no failure in me! I am favoured on every side!

Prayer/Declaration: I receive the manifestation of every word of promise concerning me in Jesus Name.

OUR REWARD IS SURE

Revelation 22:12-13
Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the end".

Jesus Christ is coming back to this world soon! Unfortunately, most people give no thought to the certainty of His return. But for kingdom minded thinkers, this passage is the MAJOR motivating factor in life.
Jesus Christ is not only coming back, but he is bringing his reward with him. He is going to give to each person according to what he or she has done in this world.
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11, NIV). “If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.

If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames” (1 Corinthians 3:14–15, NIV).

We must be careful to make sure that Jesus Christ is the foundation on which our life is built. We want our activity to be based on the word (Jesus) and Holy Spirit empowered, showing the reality of the Word of God operating in our lives. Our works should be a sign of our spiritual growth, an outward manifestation of his working in us. “…For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13,).

It is God's glory that counts, not ours. We are to lift Jesus up for the world to see the glory of God being made manifest in our lives. In doing the kingdom business, we look forward to every opportunity to tell people about the gospel of Christ in a simple and humble manner to get their attention. No matter what, let us cultivate the habit of contributing to the Fulfillment of the Great Commission through financial contributions or making ourselves available. Every service to God attracts a reward.

Today's Scripture from Revelation 22:12–13 also states how Christ is the Beginning and the ending. The time and the space in between is for us to fill; by what we do in our marriages, places of work, etc. The way we maintain the peace by exhibiting the fruit of the Holy Spirit to lead us, attracts the blessings.

Prayer/Declaration: Father, As I serve you, I shall manifest your glory in my life and destiny, no harm shall befall me in Jesus name.

Romans 5:20: “The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.” (NIV)

We must be careful about what we desire. Desiring only earthly things with no thought of the eternal implication is a formula for disaster.

"For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things but our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Saviour from there; the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:18–20, NIV).

It is critical that the resurrection power of Christ be at work in our life. As this power grows in the heart of the believer, the spiritual desires to invest our time, talent, and treasure in the Kingdom will overcome desires of a perishable nature. The more we focus on what Christ has done for us by dying for us on the cross, the less we focus on ourselves. The more we become like him, the more we are committed to the kingdom business of soul winning.

We can live successfully through this world only when we are controlled by the Holy Spirit: This world is a passage to our home for us believers.

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die before your time; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live” (Romans 8:12–13, NIV).

When we submit to God, the Holy Spirit trumps the temporary, perishable desires that seek to control how we think, feel, and act. The best offense against a negative addiction is to have a positive addiction that is greater.

Our home is heaven, and we live life seeking our Lord's approval above all else. We are living temporarily here on earth as ambassadors of Christ. Ambassadors don't stay permanently in their country of residence. Once their tenure is over, they go home.

Beloved, let us be serious with the business of God and at the end be rewarded with a crown of glory.

Prayer/Declaration: Father, I receive grace to serve you better and No enchantment shall work against me in Jesus name.

Luke 14:28
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it.

Many believers are suffering financially not because of the devil, but because they lack the ability to plan. A person that refuses to plan has planned to fail. Lack of planning is the mother of all failures.

Planning can be defined as using the resources available to you to make your life comfortable both now and in the future. Planning involves every area of a Man's life. You plan the course to read in school, or the handwork to learn. You plan who to marry and the number of children you want; and so and so forth.

To show the importance of planning, even in the work of following him you must know what is involved. From the anchor scripture, planning helps you to know or have an idea of what it takes before you start any project. It will guide you in taking decision of whether to start or not.

Jesus Christ said if you do not settle down to plan it may lead to mockery if after you have started, you are not able to complete it with the resources available to you. Luke 14:29. Lest after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him.

Many Christians, because of the shame will go out of their way to borrow money instead of planning with what they have. How can your monthly total income be N50,000, and you are living in a 2 bedroom apartment of N25,000 a month, with a wife and 3 children to cater for.
Who are you trying to impress! Such a man begins to live by borrowing to meet up. And you cannot be in debt and have peace. You owe children's school fees, you owe your landlord rent, you owe your colleagues in the office and even owing cooperative too.

Such a man will begin to pray and start binding demons that didn't do anything, or sowing seed for financial breakthrough instead of looking inwards and changes your mentality of living big and live according to your income. As from today, plan according to your income and God will help you.

Prayer/Declaration: Father, I receive wisdom to plan well to avoid disgrace in Jesus name.
