TOPIC: THE LIGHT OF ALL MEN
KEY VERSE: JOHN 1:4
" In Him was life; and the life was the light of men, And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not"(John 1:4).
The Bible lets us know that the life in Jesus is the light of all men. In other words, the solution to all of Man's problems is Jesus. He is the true Light which lights up every man that comes into this world (John 1:9). That's the light by which you must live, else you'll forever grope in darkness and be overwhelmed by the challenges of life.
Light also symbolizes hope; that's why the only hope man has for a better future in this harsh, cruel and dark world is the Lord Jesus. He is Man's only hope for a glorious, victorious, prosperous, joyous and peaceful life. He's the light that shines in darkness. According to the Bible , " the darkness comprehended it not ." In other words, the light overcame the darkness- which stands for anything that hurts, binds or contributes to making life unpleasant and unbearable for man .The cure and solution for all that is Jesus-the Light of all men, that shines in the darkness.
The Bible doesn't say He "has shined in the darkness" but that He "shines!" This means He is an ever-shining light . Therefore no matter what your case is, no matter what challenges you're faced with in life, there's a light that shining. That light is the solution to your problems, the answer to your questions and the victory over your adversaries. That light is Jesus! No Wonder anyone who receives His word , just like those who heard Him speak in Bible days, receive direction, wisdom, and guidance. At His word, problems are solved; burdens are lifted; and sicknesses are healed. Darkness can't stand His presence. The man that was born blind, when he encountered Jesus, the light of the world, His eyes opened up!
You need to receive Jesus, the light that lights every man , as Lord and saviour of your life , so that you also can become the light to your sphere and the world. Not only do you receive the solution to every problem, challenge or adversity that may come your way, when you receive him, you also become the solution provider; the light and life giver to others. My life took a new turn the day I gave my life to Jesus, the best decision you can ever came. You too can do same today .
Say this simple prayer.
" Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of the living God, and that you died for my sins, and that you were raised by the Glory of the Father. I confess you as my Lord and savior. Congratulations.
