Psalms 1:1
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

What does it mean to stand in the paths of sinners?
The sinners have a direction that they follow. It's a pathway they have discovered for themselves. This pathway has no discipline, no restrictions and no control; it leads to destruction, anarchy and defeat. He says the man or woman that is blessed is the one who will not stand in that pathway, becos it's a way that is void of the presence of God.

Matthew 7:13b
broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
The pathway of sinners lead to destruction, you can't be blessed when you are standing on the pathway that leads to destruction.
Make up you mind to go in the way of righteousness. By been on that way you are blessed already.
Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.

The word says when you do not take counsel from the ungodly, when you do not stand in the path of sinners, then you shall be like a tree planted by the waterside and you will never know dryness nor see heat, hallelujah.
