_Text;_ *Mark.1.35 - And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.*

Bob Sorge the author of "SECRETS OF THE SECRET PLACE" said in his book, "Nothing equals or replaces a daily, consistent secret life with God". Like I said in yesterdays Devotional note, personal retreat is more valuable to God than the congregational prayers. Once in a while we should learn to leave our comfort zone. Book a Christian hotel, visit a prayer camp or get a room where it will be you and your God. If you read 2Kings 4:10 you'll see that Prophet Elisha has a room Prepared for him to meet with His Maker.

This are the few things I have found in my personal retreat with God;
👉🏼In the place of personal retreat one is refreshed for the journey ahead.
👉🏼Divine Direction on the next line of action.
👉🏼Deep Revelation about the God-Head is revealed to us.
👉🏼A dimension is released upon us; how to operate on it and sustain it is also shown to us.
👉🏼Revival is a must.
👉🏼Our Love is strengthened.
👉🏼It sharpens our responsiveness to God's demand.

The reason Christ can say, "what I see my Father in heaven do, is what I do"(paraphrased), is because He was also in tune with the Father.

Dear LORD! Take me back to the secret place where my love for you is unconditional in Jesus name, Amen!

We all have days when we don’t feel very enthusiastic. If you don’t feel like you have any reason to be excited about your life, today is the day to change your focus! It’s time to set your mind on things above.

Too often, we settle for what we see in this earthly realm, but God has so much more for us in the supernatural realm. Whatever we choose to focus on is what we will see manifest in our lives. We need to daily set our focus on the goodness of God and keep hope alive.

Today is not the day to give up on your dreams; it’s the day to feed your dreams. That means instead of dragging around finding every reason you can to be unhappy, your attitude should be: “I am not going to live my life defeated and depressed.
