LIGHT FOR TODAY
(OEIC Global Devotional)

TOPIC: RENEWED TO SOAR

ISAIAH 40:31 NIV
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

CHARGE
1. WAIT ON HIM - Don’t rush ahead. Hope in the Lord and He will renew you.
2. EXCHANGE WEAKNESS - Bring your tiredness to God. Take His strength in return.
3. RISE ABOVE IT - You’re not crawling through this week. You will soar like an eagle.

PRAYER
Father, today I choose to hope in You. Renew my strength. Lift me above weariness and fainting. Help me to run this race without growing tired and to walk without fainting. I soar on Your strength, not mine. In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

LIGHT FOR TODAY

PSALM 55:22 NIV
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

CHARGE
1. CAST IT - Throw that worry to God.
He can carry it. Thank Him for 3 things He’s already sustained you through.

2. TRUST IT - I trust in You, Lord. I won’t be shaken, because You are steady.

PRAYER
Father, I cast my cares on You today. Sustain me. Hold me steady through this Tuesday. I rest on Your strength, not mine. In Jesus’ name,
Amen. 🙏

LIGHT FOR TODAY

2 Corinthians 12:9
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Charge:
Don’t waste your weakness. The thing you think disqualifies you is the exact spot where God’s power shows up strongest. Stop striving to be “enough” His grace already is. This Monday, lean on Him, not your limits. What feels like a crack is where His light will shine through you.

Prayer:
Father, thank You that Your grace is enough for me today. I bring my weakness, my tiredness, my “not enough” to You. Rest Your power on me. Let every lack become a stage for Your strength. As I start this week, let Your sufficiency carry me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

LIGHT FOR TODAY

Isaiah 40:31

“But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” ESV

Tired doesn’t mean finished. Waiting on God isn’t wasting time — it’s refueling time. When your strength runs low, His doesn’t. Wait on Him in prayer, in worship, in stillness... and He trades your weakness for eagle strength. You’ll rise above what’s trying to weigh you down.

Prayer:
Lord, I’m weary but I won’t quit. I wait on You right now. Renew my strength like the eagle. Lift me above stress, delay, and discouragement. Help me run without weariness and walk without fainting. My strength is in You today.

Amen.

LIGHT FOR TODAY

Psalm 23:1
_“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

When God is your Shepherd, you don’t lack anything you truly need. He leads, feeds, and protects you — even in hard seasons. You are cared for.

*Prayer:*
Father, thank You for shepherding me today. Help me rest in Your care and trust You to provide all I need. Amen.

LIGHT FOR TODAY

Topic: Strength

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Strength isn’t about never feeling weak. It’s about knowing where your power source is.

Paul says, “My strength doesn’t depend on my situation, my mood, or my bank account. It depends on Christ in me.”

Prayer:
Lord when I feel weak, remind me that Your power works best in my weakness. I receive your strength today in Jesus name,
Amen.
