💡THE WARFARE (2)
📕2 Corinthians 10: 3. "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: "
✍️ Two secrets were mentioned previously concerning the battle of life we are engaged in. These are other secrets:
1). You must know your weapons (both offensive and defensive)
Ephesians 6: 13. "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
2). Know your enemies. If you don't know them well you may underestimate or overestimate them. Ephesians 6: 12.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
3). Know the weapons they possess and their ability.
2 Corinthians 2: 11.
"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."
4). You should know where the battle ground is. There is a need to know where the battle is been fought. Is it physical or spiritual, where exactly? The major venue of the battle is the mind.
2 Corinthians 10: 5. " Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; "
This scripture is talking about your mind.
5). Understand the warfare. The ware fare is a warfare of faith. We are not fighting for victory but in victory. Jesus won the victory for us already once and for all.
1 Timothy 6: 12.
" Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."
