No. 2. Commitment to Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray without ceasing.”
This particular Bible verse reminds the prayer group to make prayer a lifestyle, not just an event.

In line with that, Luke 18:1 says– “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

As a prayer warrior, discipling yourself to persevere in prayer is key to victory.

No. 3. HOLINESS AND PURITY OF HEART.

James 5:16 says– “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
Key information from this scripture is holiness and sincerity, these empowers prayer.

Also, Psalm 24:3–4 says– “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? … He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart.”
We are given this as a reminder, purity of heart strengthens spiritual effectiveness.

No. 4. Dependence on the Holy Spirit

Romans 8:26 – “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought…”
Note, the Holy Spirit is your prayer helper — rely on Him. We are encouraged to solely on the Holy Spirit of God for prayers with direction.

Zechariah 4:6 says– “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

This to understand that success in prayer comes from God’s Spirit, not by human strength or power.
