THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO APOSTLE PAUL - A new Bible Study series begins today at 5pm.
The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is one. Christ is the centre. Yet God entrusted Paul with a remarkable revelation of the gospel of Jesus Christ—a message that shaped the early Church and continues to instruct the believer today.
Paul wrote a significant portion of the New Testament Epistles, opening our understanding to; the mystery of Christ, the meaning of His death and resurrection, the believer’s new life, the Church, grace, faith, righteousness, the Holy Spirit, and the hope of Christ’s return.
Now, we take a closer look at:
+What exactly did Paul receive, believed, and teach about the Gospel?
+What did he understand about Christ after His resurrection and ascension?
+How does the Gospel shape the way we believe, live, walk, serve, suffer and grow?
+And what does it mean to live according to the revelation entrusted to Paul?
“But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”Galatians 1:11–12
For the coming weeks, our Pastor will take us through an extended Bible School on the life, writings, doctrine and revelation of the Apostle Paul.
This is not just a character study, it is an invitation to examine the Gospel he preached, the Christ he revealed, and the life that Gospel demands from us.
