What does it mean to be different?
It means to stand out,to be set apart and be unique in character,conduct,values & lifestyle because of your relationship with God
2 Corinthians 6:17 states: "Therefore, 'Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.'" (NIV)
Or
Refusing to conform to the patterns of this world and living a life that reflects Christ in your thoughts,words,your words,your decisions,your dressing and actions
Rom 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (NIV)
The proof that you have stayed with Christ is that your life begins to reflect Christ
Not the old you before salvation
Not the patterns of this world
The Lord is still looking for women who are set apart,who have separated themselves from this perverse generation. Women who are different in their decisions,their values,dressing,speech and overall lifestyle
God cannot use you when you are just like everyone else
In a noisy world,God is still looking for women that will separate themselves from noise to hear him
(2 Timothy 2:20-21)
You need to be different to protect the destiny you carry
Because of where God is taking you,you need to be different
In conclusion
You just make up your mind to stand out
You must make up your mind to say no when there’s a need to regardless of how many people are saying yes
You must say no to indecent dressing
You must say no to worldly lifestyle
Being in Christ and making heaven requires that you be different
Your friends are sleeping around for money,dare to be different
They are walking half naked on the road,dare to be different
They are moving in with men they are not yet married to,dare to be different
Regardless of how hard it is to stand out,pay that price and don’t pretend about it
God uses people who’s lives are separated
You are meant to stand out and let your light shine
