TOPIC: HOW TO GO TO HELL

TEXT: MARK 9:43-48

It's very easy to go to hell (a place of eternal torment) if you so choose, but the truth is that going to hell is not the will of God for you because of the following reasons (according to BILLY GRAHAM):-

1. There's no air in hell because of the absence of God - The Breath of life.

2. There's no peace in hell because Jesus - The Prince of peace will be absent.

3. There's no comfort in hell because The Holy Spirit - The Great Comforter will not be there.

4. There will be no love in hell because God, who is love, won't be there.

5. There will be gross darkness in hell because Jesus - The Light of the world,Won’t be there.

Dearly beloved, you don't have to go there because hell was not created for you but for satan and his angels. But there's only one way to escape it, and that is through Salvation in the name of Jesus.Please receive Him today as tomorrow might be too late.Determine to stand firm in faith if you’re already born again.

PRAYER:satan,I reject you and your offer of hell, in Jesus’ name. I receive grace to stay faithful to God in this wicked world, amen.

DAILY WORD (A DEVOTIONAL MANUAL)

MONDAY, 8TH JUNE, 2026.

TOPIC: HOW TO MISS HEAVEN

HEAVEN is a place of eternal bliss created by our good God for us to go, after the Rapture of the saints. (Rev. 21:1-6) but it's possible to miss it if you fail to repent (turn from your sins-Matthew 3:2; 4:17) and receive Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour.

Please note that if you miss heaven, you cannot miss hell as there's no middle ground anywhere.
I pray that you don't toy with this opportunity while you're still breathing God's free air as tomorrow might be forever too late!

PRAY: Today I receive God's offer of heaven, and I receive the grace to stay true to my faith in this adulterous generation, amen!

TOPIC: PROVOKING THE ANOINTING II

Memory Verse: "The Spirit of The Lord God is upon me, because The Lord hath ANOINTED me to preach good tidings to the meek..."(Isaiah 61:1).

FUNCTIONS OF THE ANOINTING (cont.)

The anointing of God:-

7. Destroys yokes of sin, diseases, demons, depression, poverty, ancestral burdens, etc. (Isaiah 10:27).

8. Opens closed doors (Isaiah 45:1).

9. Provides zeal for preaching (Isaiah 61:1).

10 Provides healing (Mark 6:13; Luke 10:34; James 5:14, 15).

11. Teaches (1st John 2:27).

12. Sustains (Zech. 4:14). The Anointing helps you to stand for The Lord till the end.

Dearly beloved, if there's anything you should zealously go for, it's the anointing of God, and if there's anything you should lose, it's not the anointing.

The devil wants you to lose it so you can become his slave, like Sampson, but you must refuse to yield to his diabolical antics, and constantly provoke the anointing to work for you always.

PRAYER POINT: As I go about my legitimate duties, I provoke God's anointing for new lessons, deliverance, healing, soul - winning and my sustenance, in The name of Jesus Christ!

TOPIC: WHERE IS YOUR AFFECTION?

TEXT: 1st Chronicles 29:3).

AFFECTION can be defined as a feeling of love or strong attachment.

WHERE OUR AFFECTION SHOULD NOT BE:
As children of God, our affection should not be on immorality (Rom. 1:18-31; Gal.5:24; Col. 3:5,6; 2nd Tim. 3:1-3).

There are other matters of urgent importance that should occupy your mind than filthy things.

WHERE OUR AFFECTION SHOULD BE:

1. In Kingdom matters (1st Chronicles 29:3).

2. In our brethren's welfare (Romans 12:10; 2nd Cor. 7:15; 1st Thess. 2:8).

3. In heaven (Gal.3:2).

PRAYERS:
1. Oh you my affection, I channel you into Kingdom matters, brethren's welfare and heaven.

2. You yoke of immorality, loose your grip upon me today,in Jesus' conquering name,amen.

TOPIC: DON’T MISS YOUR PERIOD!

TEXT: 1ST CHRONICLES 12:32

I know you know that there's a period (season) for everything in life - a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to harvest, etc (Eccl 3:1-8). You must, therefore, be very sensitive to know your period or season for a particular manifestation so you don't miss your timing because if you do, sometimes no amount of regrets, tears or prayer can bring it back (Heb. 12:15-17).

Thank God for the children of Issachar in our text today who had understanding of their period because of which all their brethren were at their command.

Sir, understanding makes you outstanding!

HOW TO EXPLOIT YOUR PERIOD

1. Be born again in order to access divine wisdom and understanding.

2. Study God's word constantly and habitually (Ps 119:130).

3. Be prayerful (1st Sam. 3:1-4; Acts 13:1-3)

4. Don't joke with your dreams and other means of revelation

5. Have a mentor to whom you can go for counseling whenever you're in a cross road. They say that what an elder sees sitting down, a child will not see, even if he climbs the tallest tree (1 Sam. 3:1-10).

PRAYERS:
1. My good God, may i not miss my period, in Jesus’ name

2. I receive back grace for ardent word study, meaningful prayer life & clear dreams and vision.

3. May I not make any mistake in my choice of a mentor, Amen.
