UACC MARKS 61 YEARS OF SIGNS AND WONDERS
61st Annual Trustee Meeting and Thanksgiving Service Holds at Oke Igbala, Uro Ikere Ekiti

The United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC), Worldwide, gathered in solemn worship and purposeful deliberation as the mission hosted its 61st Annual Trustee Meeting and Thanksgiving Service from Thursday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the UACC Oke Igbala Headquarters Church, Uro Ikere Ekiti, in Ekiti State, Nigeria. The three-day event brought together trustees, ordained ministers, deacons, and faithful members from across the mission, uniting under one Spirit in thanksgiving to God for sixty-one remarkable years of His faithfulness.
The gathering was convened and presided over by the Reverend Doctor James B. Owoyemi, the esteemed President of the Mission, whose visionary leadership continues to steer the UACC with spiritual wisdom, apostolic conviction, and unwavering devotion to the Great Commission. Rev. Dr. Owoyemi was joined by senior ministers and ordained servants of God drawn from various states and regions, reflecting the broad spread and influence of the mission across Nigeria and beyond.
The Ekiti State chapter of the mission extended a warm and wholehearted reception to the delegates. Leading the welcome on behalf of the state was Reverend Peter A. Adeniyi, the Ekiti State Superintendent of the United Apostolic Church of Christ. Rev. Adeniyi expressed profound gratitude to God for the privilege of hosting the meeting in Ekiti State, and pledged the full support and hospitality of the state's congregation to all delegates and attendees.
The three-day programme was a blend of powerful worship sessions, fervent intercessory prayers, inspiring sermons by the ministers of God, and structured administrative deliberations by the Board of Trustees. The Thanksgiving Service, which formed the spiritual highpoint of the gathering, was a moment of deep corporate gratitude as the body of Christ reflected on God's faithfulness in preserving, growing, and distinguishing the mission over six decades.
The annual trustee meeting serves as a strategic and spiritual compass for the mission, providing an opportunity for the leadership to review the progress of the church, plan for expansion, strengthen governance structures, and align collectively with the vision that God has placed upon the mission. This 61st edition was particularly significant as the church charts a course for deeper impact in its second half-century of ministry.
The event concluded with renewed commitment, inspired hearts, and a collective declaration of trust in the God who has carried the United Apostolic Church of Christ from its founding days to this golden era of ministry. As delegates and worshippers departed Oke Igbala, they bore with them the fire of revival, the bond of fellowship, and the assurance of God's continued grace upon the mission.
