Theme: The Man God Uses
* God is in the habit of seeking out a man among all men who He can commit His work into his hands. It is quite unfortunate that such man is so scarce.
* when God thus find a man, He will then make them to His own taste.
* God does not just hand pick just anybody
* God seeks some particular traits in a man that God will use as follows:
1. The heart condition: a perfect heart, a ready heart . 1Sam 16:7. God saw the heart of David as perfect, even though he was in the Bush tendering sheep.
2. Obedience Gen 12:1-10: The call of Abraham was not a palatable one. The Lord asked him to leave his father's land and move to a place He will show him. A place he did not know before, despite this, Abraham left and embarked on the journey to the unknown. How swift and prompt is your obedience ? A call unto total separation too eminent for all who will obey.
3. Sanctification: a sanctified heart is a heart free from sin and can not even sin.
Other challenges from the scripture
1. Judges 6:14 : Gideon : God sought out Gideon, He gave him instruction to destroy the alter of his father's god, and he did it.
2. Luke 1: 33-35: Virgin Mary: she was not the only virgin in her time in Nazareth, yet she was chosen among other virgins. Why? Her heart was ready to obey thus she received favour of the Lord.
As God is in His search now, if He gets to you, will you be found worthy to be used?

Are your behaviours palatable for God to use?
As soon as God finds a man to use, He considers His work accomplished
