PRAYER IS A DAILY GYM

I remember our usual practice as children. We would lift a few weights and rush to the mirror the next day to check for muscles, only to be disappointed. We didn't understand that muscles don't grow overnight. They grow by daily training. The same is true spiritually. You don't build spiritual strength in a day. You build it daily.

Friend, you must develop your prayer muscles. What separates strong believers from weak ones is not talent but consistency. Successful people do daily what others do occasionally. Your future is shaped by your daily habits. You must commit to daily growth.

Prayer is the gym of the spirit. Your prayer life determines your spiritual vitality. Seven prayerless days will make one weak. You wouldn't go to the gym once a month and expect to be fit, so don't pray only when you feel like it. If you want a glorious destiny, you need a consistent prayer habit (Jude 1:20).

Some people are building with prayer, others without it. The difference may not show today, but it will definitely show later (Malachi 3:16-18). Prayer may not produce instant results, but it always produces ultimate results. Prayer is an investment in your destiny. It must be daily.

Physical exercise profits for a little while, but prayer secures your entire future (1 Timothy 4:7-8). If athletes get visible results from daily physical training, we will get far greater, eternal results from daily spiritual training. As New Testament priests, we are being built into a spiritual house to offer sacrifices acceptable to God (1 Peter 2:5).

Commit to a daily life of prayer. No matter what happens, let prayer not reduce, let it increase (Acts 6:4). Chats can reduce. Time on social media can reduce. Even sleep and meals can be adjusted, but not prayer. This is the time to go deeper, wider, higher, and stronger in prayer. You will reap the reward (Galatians 6:7-8).

DON'T JUST PRAY FOR MONEY

Years ago, I saw a caption that changed my mindset about money: "Income will always come in if you are committed to adding value." From that day, I decided to add value everywhere I found myself and to everyone I met. That single shift made me realize a deep truth: God does not just give money.

Friend, God does not just give money. This is a mindset shift that many people, especially believers, need to have. We often pray for money as if God will drop cash from heaven. Instead of praying for money, you should pray for wisdom to know what to do to create wealth (Ecclesiastes 10:15).

No matter how much you pray for money, if you refuse to do what is required legally and godly, you will end up poorer than before you prayed (Proverbs 6:9-10, 21:25). Money is a medium of exchange. If you have nothing to exchange, you will eventually have a money problem (2 Kings 4:1-7). Value must be exchanged.

When people read about the windows of heaven in Malachi 3:10, they imagine money falling from the sky. Money does not fall from heaven, neither cars nor houses. What God releases from heaven is an idea, an insight, or an opportunity that, when you engage it properly, produces the money you are looking for.

Money follows value. The more valuable you become, the more money you will attract. Jacob did not beg Laban for a salary increase; he committed himself to adding value to Laban's business (Genesis 30:27-30). Because he added value, he moved from being an employee to becoming wealthy and influential in that same company.

Stop praying for money while doing nothing (Proverbs 21:25-26). Pray for ideas that will make you valuable in your sphere of influence (Job 32:8). Money is everywhere because money is with people, and people are everywhere. People don't easily release their money, but if you add value to them, they will willingly give it to you without begging (1 Kings 10:1-11).

GOD DOES NOT BLESS DISORDER

A respected minister once shared at a conference, "As I laid hands on a young man to bless him, I felt uneasy in my spirit." Later, the Lord told him, "Call him back and withdraw that prayer." He later found that God was still dealing with issues in that young man's life.

Friend, God does not check your physique to bless you; He checks your heart. Until the right order is established, His blessing can remain suspended (Genesis 1:2). God does not bless disorder, and He does not anoint rottenness. You must position your heart in truth.

When God measures a man, He measures his heart, not his head (1 Samuel 16:7). If your heart is wrong, your life is wrong (Proverbs 4:23). Like Eliab, you may look the most promising, yet God may bypass you (Psalm 138:6). You can be ordained by men and still be rejected by God.

Scripture warns us not to lay hands on anyone hastily (1 Timothy 5:22). This is more than a formality. Ministers must not make laying on of hands a routine. It is a serious kingdom transaction that must be supervised by the Holy Ghost (Genesis 48:14-20).

What in your life could make God withdraw or suspend His blessing? What has God been correcting that you have allowed to linger (Hosea 4:17)? Why remain unbending? If God does not break you, life will. When God breaks you, it is to make you (Genesis 32:24-26).

Blessings are provoked, not just requested. Instead of running around for someone to bless you, live a life that compels blessing (Hebrews 13:9). Don't just submit your head for anointing; submit your heart to be moulded (Proverbs 23:26). God does not bless disorder.

DON'T BE CARELESS WITH THE OPPOSITE S*X

A minister once shared how he prayed for a woman with breast cancer by placing his hand on her chest, and she got healed. While the crowd celebrated the miracle, an older minister quietly asked himself, "Must he touch her chest to minister healing?" Miracles are real, but wisdom is also needed.

Friend, don't be careless with the opposite s*x. Always remember, you do not have an anointed flesh. Your flesh can still fail you if you are ignorant, careless, or overconfident (Proverbs 7:7). This is a truth you must carry if you want to stay s*xually pure and fulfil destiny.

Spiritual growth is not the same as s*xual discipline. In fact, the more anointed you become, the more you need to keep your flesh under control (1 Corinthians 9:27). Samson was anointed, yet he kept visiting the wrong places (Judges 14:1-3). Anointing does not make you immune; it can expose you without knowing.

Any spiritual activity that begins to affect you emotionally or s*xually is a trap in disguise (Galatians 5:1). If praying regularly with the opposite s*x is stirring emotions, please stop. Unless the person is your spouse, having the opposite s*x as a close prayer partner is risky. You may already be giving the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).

The Holy Spirit dwells in your spirit, not in your flesh. His anointing is given to help you tame your flesh, not to excuse it (Galatians 5:16-17). True maturity is when your spirit, empowered by the Word, can bring your flesh under subjection (Psalm 119:9-11). You are not yet mature if you cannot control your flesh.

Being a new creation does not mean you are lawless; you are only living by a higher law (Romans 8:1-2). Don't use grace as an excuse for carelessness (Galatians 5:13). You cannot claim purity without boundaries. Like Job, you must make a covenant with your eyes and your flesh (Job 31:1). Those boundaries are not to cage you but to keep you safe and sane.
