PRAYER DIRECTION FOR THE WEEK.
1. Ask the Lord for insight into ll that is in the heart of the Father for you. Begin to ask for a deep desire to know what and where He has prepared for you in life.
2. Pray for the leadership of our nation, state and the men working with them that the Lord will reveal Himself to them. Ask that they will do the will of the Lord.
3. Pray for all our children. Ask that the Lord will keep them and raise them by Himself, for Himself and in Himself.

Direction for the week.
"This is God ’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." Jeremiah 29:10-11 MSG.
Welcome to the second half of the year. God our Father who has brought us this far, has brought us too far to abandon us. As the end of the first-half of the year marks the beginning of the second half, so certain things are designed to end and other meant to begin. Invest this moment we must all seek to know those things that must end and those that must start.
Friend, no matter how and what you feel right now, the thoughts of His heart for you are very good, though He alone knows. Do well to seek to search and dig into His heart to receive your portion. God help us all.

Topic: The Father is waiting.
Text: Gen. 49:1-2;28

Two Species of Son
a. Sons who answers as a son but are slaves in nature e.g (Ishmael, Mephibosheth)
b. Those who have the names of slaves but are Sons in nature e.g (Joseph, Eleazar).
🔑 point
1. God knows His Sons (2Tim. 2:19)
2. There is a place for every child (Romans 8:14-17)
3. There is always a reward for His Sons (Gen. 49:28)
4. Watch your secret life (Gen. 49:6) & and learn to be open (psalm 139:11-12).
5. Stop serving God for only what you will get from Him.
6. You must make a choice to be a Son (2Cor. 6:17-18)
7. Return to the Father (Luke 15:13-24).

Prayer Focus for the Week.
1. Speak to the Lord to help your heart to be willing to follow His leading and be willing and obedient as the Lord is prepared to manifest Himself in your life in a way you have never known before.

2. New Estate Baptist Church, Lagos and Ikoyi Baptist Church, Lagos have partnered to take the Good News to Burkina Faso. The team, led by Rev, Olufemi Babalola and Rev. Enoch Sangodare is there now. Pray that the land shall be reached and redeemed, and that the Lord will make good the heart of the people to receive the Word of the Lord.
3. Pastor Yakubu Ibrahim Ezekiel is among us to work in the midst of our Hausa brethren. Pray that the Lord will help him to raise disciples among them.

4. Pray for Rev. Kunat Amos Achi, the senior pastor of the NEBC family. Pastor Yakubu Hussaini and his family, that the Lord will pour upon them new oil and equip them for life and for ministry.

PASTOR’S CORNER
“Now when He had left speaking, he said unto Simon, launch out into the deep, and let out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:4-6.
One essential and indispensible key to becoming a mighty instrument in the hand of God and to experience unusual breakthrough in life, career and ministry is OBEDIENCE. Obedience is the total surrender of your life, your desire, skills, strength, experience and exposure in life to God and His Word even when it is unreasonable, foolish and difficult.

The moment you can take God by His word, give up all that you are and all that you have, you would have positioned yourself for God to pour out His Spirit and release His exceedingly great power into your life to do that which is humanly impossible and walk in the realm of the supernatural. Are you the one the Lord is talking to, here and now? Delayed obedience is the twin brother of disobedience!
