EID-UL-ADHA MESSAGE TO THE MUSLIM UMMAH WORLDWIDE

The Grand Imam of Akure Empire,
The Grand Patron League of Imams and Alfas Ondo State

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

All praise is due to Almighty Allah who has spared our lives to witness another blessed season of Eid-ul-Adha (ọdún Iléyá), the festival of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and total submission to the will of Allah (God).

On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire Muslim community of Akure Empire, I warmly felicitate with my Muslims brothers and sisters across the world on the joyous occasion of our Eid-ul-Adha celebration, popularly known as Ọdún Iléyá.

This sacred celebration reminds us of the unwavering faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the willingness of his son, Prophet Ismail (AS), to submit completely to the command of Allah. Their exemplary devotion teaches humanity the virtues of sacrifice, patience, humility, and steadfastness in faith.

As we celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Adha, I urge all Muslims to imbibe the true lessons of the festival by promoting peace, love, unity, tolerance, and compassion within our families, communities, and the society at large. Let us extend hands of kindness to the less privileged, support one another, and continue to pray for peace, progress, and prosperity in our nation and the entire world.

May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices, prayers, and acts of worship as Ibadah. May He shower His endless mercy and blessings upon us all, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us many more years to witness this glorious celebration in good health, happiness, and abundant prosperity.

I wish all Muslim Ummah across the globe a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually rewarding Eid-ul-Adha celebration.

On this blessed Day of Arafah, may Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and supplications.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

La ilaha illa-Allahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir.
There is no god except Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and all praise, and He has power over all things.

May Allah accept all our dua (Prayer) on this sacred day and grant us peace, mercy, and endless blessings. Aameen.

O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.

May Allah accept all our dua (Prayer) on this sacred day and grant us peace, mercy, and endless blessings. Aameen.
