*Topic: Cast your care on God, while you remain vigilant*

*Text: 1 Peter 5:6-11*
[6-7]Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you

Life often presents challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and uncertain about the future. In this passage, the Apostle Peter encourages every Christians to adopt an attitude of humility before God. Humility means recognizing that God is sovereign, powerful, and wise, while we are dependent on Him for strength, guidance, and provision.

Peter reminds us that God's timing is perfect. Though we may desire immediate answers or relief from our struggles, God asks us to trust Him and wait patiently. When we humble ourselves under His mighty hand, He promises to exalt us at the proper time.

One of the greatest expressions of humility is casting our cares upon the Lord. Many people carry burdens that God never intended them to bear alone. Worries about finances, family, health, ministry, or the future can weigh heavily on the heart. Yet Peter assures us that we can place every concern into God's hands because He genuinely cares for us.

The passage also warns Christians to be spiritually alert. Satan seeks to discourage, deceive, and weaken God's people. Like a roaring lion, he looks for opportunities to attack our faith. Therefore, Christians must remain vigilant, standing firm in the truth of God's Word and trusting in His promises.

The encouragement concludes with a wonderful assurance: after seasons of suffering, God Himself will restore, strengthen, establish, and settle His children. Trials are temporary, but God's grace is sufficient. The God who called us into His eternal glory through Christ will complete His work in us.

*Topic: Be not Conformed to the world*

*Text: Romans 12:1–2*“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...”

Christian living is more than attending church services or calling ourselves Christians. It is a daily commitment to follow Jesus Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions. The Christian life is a journey of becoming more like Christ every day.

In Romans 12:1–2, the Apostle Paul urges Christians to present their bodies as a living sacrifice to God. Unlike the sacrifices of the Old Testament that were offered once, Christians are called to offer themselves continually to God. This means surrendering our desires, ambitions, and decisions to His will.

The world constantly pressures us to adopt its values, but God calls us to be different. Christian living involves allowing God's Word to renew our minds so that our choices reflect His character. When we spend time in prayer, study the Scriptures, and obey God's commands, we become transformed from the inside out.

A true Christian life is marked by love, humility, forgiveness, honesty, and service. Jesus taught that the greatest evidence of discipleship is love for one another (John 13:35). As Christians, we should strive to be examples of Christ in our homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.

Christian living is not always easy. There will be challenges, temptations, and trials. However, God has given us His Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen, and empower us to live victoriously. When we depend on Him, we can stand firm in faith and bring glory to His name.

Eternal Rock of ages, we thank you for the gift of a new day, thank You for calling us to a life that honors You. Help us to live as a true follower of Christ and not be conformed to the ways of this world. Renew our mind through Your Word, strengthen us by Your Spirit, and help us to reflect the character of Jesus in all we do in Jesus name, Amen.

*Topic: If God Is for Us*

*Text: Romans 8:31*“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

The text above is one of the most encouraging verses in Scripture. Paul had just described God's amazing plan of salvation, His unfailing love, and His purpose for His children. After considering all these blessings, he asks a powerful question: *“If God is for us, who can be against us?”*

This verse does not mean that Christians will never face opposition, challenges, or difficulties. Christians often encounter trials, persecution, disappointments, and spiritual battles. However, the promise is that no enemy, circumstance, or power can ultimately defeat those who belong to God. When the Creator of heaven and earth stands with you, every opposition is limited by His sovereign power.

Many times we become overwhelmed by what is against us such as financial pressures, health concerns, family struggles, or uncertainty about the future. Yet God invites us to focus on who is for us rather than what is against us. His presence is greater than our problems. His promises are stronger than our fears. His grace is sufficient for every challenge we face.

The cross is the greatest proof that God is for us. He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us and reconcile us to Himself. If God loved us enough to give His very best, we can trust Him to help us through every situation.

As Christians, we should not be controlled by fear, rather we should walk confidently, knowing that God is on our side. The battle may be real, but His victory is certain.

Eternal Rock of ages, we thank you for the gift of a new day and a new week, thank You for being with us and for us. When we face difficulties and opposition, help us remember that You are greater than every challenge. Strengthen our faith, remove our fears, and give us confidence in Your unfailing love in Jesus name, Amen.

*Topic:The Lord Is My Shepherd*

*Text:Psalm 23:1*"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

Psalm 23 is one of the most comforting passages in the Bible. Written by David, a former shepherd himself, this psalm paints a beautiful picture of God's loving care for His people. Just as a shepherd watches over, guides, protects, and provides for his sheep, God faithfully does the same for us.

The psalm begins with a personal declaration: *"The Lord is my shepherd."* David did not say, "The Lord is a shepherd," but "my shepherd." This reminds us that God desires a personal relationship with each of His children. When we belong to Him, we can trust that He will supply our needs, direct our paths, and care for us in every season of life.

David speaks of green pastures and still waters, symbols of God's provision and peace. In a world filled with anxiety, uncertainty, and pressure, God offers rest for weary souls. He restores our strength when we are tired and renews our hope when we are discouraged.

One of the most powerful verses is verse 4: *"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me."* Notice that David says "walk through" the valley, not "stay" in the valley. Difficult times are not permanent. God's presence accompanies us through every trial, sorrow, and challenge. His rod and staff represent His protection and guidance.

The psalm concludes with a promise of God's goodness and mercy following us all the days of our lives. No matter what circumstances we face, God's love remains constant. He not only walks with us in this life but also prepares an eternal home for us in His presence.

Eternal Rock of Ages, we thank you for the gift of a new day, and for successfully bringing us to the end of another week,thank You for being our Shepherd. Thank You for providing for our needs, guiding our steps, and protecting us through every season of life. Help us to trust You completely,
