REFLECTION FOR THE DAY. Wed.20/09/23.
Anytime you are faced with a discouraging situation in your journey of life, encourage yourself by remembering those challenging moments, similar to the present situation that help came through for you and you triumphed over the situation, especially in instances where help came from quarters you least expected.
Are you today facing hard times in your marriage or home, such that life is almost becoming unbearable for you? I enjoin you to encourage yourself by reflecting on times in the past that you were almost calling it quit, but God made an appearance for you by intervening beyond all expectations.
Are you presently facing tough times in your finances or career, always remember you have faced similar situations in the past, and you still came on top of them.
Are you about to write an examination or a test or a professional assessment that has become quite intimidating to you? Take time and remember when similar examination conditions came up before you, and how you succeeded in coming out in flying colours.
Always remember that the first point of attack of such challenging situations is to hit hard at your self confidence. You will suddenly see yourself as being inferior, unqualified, inadequate and unable in the face of the prevailing situation. You must never cease to believe in yourself and in your God given ability. It is the hallmark of a man with the mentality of "never say die."
The second likely focus of attack of challenging situations around you is hitting at your trust in the Lord. You will observe that suddenly you will begin to feel as if God has abandoned you, and you start doubting if God is capable of solving the problem before you or not.
At this junction, all manners of doubts and thoughts are raised within you, trying to bog you down and becloud your sense of direction, discretion and judgement.
In all of these situations and circumstances, believe in God, and believe in yourself, knowing fully well that if the tide could turn for you in the past, it can also turn again, and again. And in the present situation,it sure will.
Just trust in the Lord with all your heart, and look up to Him. And He will come through for you.
